Clinging to Devoted Fiancé, Heiress Slays the World!-Chapter 913: It Hurts Here
With such an obvious hint, even if Mo Qian was a bit slow on the uptake, he eventually caught on.
"Did you get your period?" he asked in surprise.
Ji Wei nodded: "Yeah."
Mo Qian’s expression instantly became a bit stiff, feeling a mix of emotions he couldn’t quite express. He had finally found some time to try and enhance their marital relationship, but it turned out to be such unfortunate timing...
Seeing the man slowly straighten up, with a noticeable hint of disappointment on his handsome face, Ji Wei took the initiative to reach out and hug his well-built waist under the pajamas, "It’ll be over in two or three days, just bear with it."
Mo Qian looked down at the woman, who mischievously placed her face against his firm abdomen, holding him tightly with her small hands, paying no mind to his burning desire and internal torment.
He clenched his hands at his sides and replied in a suppressed voice: "Alright."
"Oh, by the way, I called Dad. He agreed to bring An An to Britain in a few days. Your mom’s been having a hard time lately, and I thought if she saw An An, she’d feel better."
Ji Wei chattered away, completely ignoring the man’s struggling endurance.
"Weiwei..." A deep, hoarse voice sounded above her head, she looked up with a blink: "What is it?"
"It’s really uncomfortable."
"..."
"Here, it’s really uncomfortable."
Ji Wei suddenly realized what he meant, her face instantly turning crimson. She hadn’t done anything, just holding him like this, how could it have such a reaction?
Mo Qian’s deep voice sounded again, pressing her hand firmly against him.
Ji Wei’s heart suddenly became flustered, instinctively wanting to withdraw her hand. Although Mo Qian had forgotten about their past, the innate nature of a man never changes.
Men love excitement!
"Hands... I-I didn’t do anything!" Ji Wei lied with a red face, denying it with plausible bravado since he didn’t remember her anyway.
Mo Qian: "..."
"So sleepy, so sleepy..."
Ji Wei quickly withdrew her hand, covering her mouth with a yawn. She peeked at the man out of the corner of her eye, then swiftly pulled the quilt over herself, covering tightly.
Mo Qian stood by the bed, looking at the little woman pretending to sleep with closed eyes, shaking his head helplessly yet indulgently.
He took his pajamas and turned to leave the room.
Ji Wei heard the sound of water coming from the bathroom and knew Mo Qian was using his own method to cool down. She slowly lifted her hand in front of her eyes, feeling a bit sorry for the hands that could cool the man’s fire.
Maybe when Mo Qian comes back, she should muster the courage to give it a try.
Fifteen minutes passed.
The man still hadn’t returned, and Ji Wei felt her eyelids growing incredibly heavy, struggling to stay awake.
Half an hour later.
When Mo Qian walked in, he saw the little woman raising both hands beside her head, in a surrender pose, sleeping soundly.
Seeing her somewhat cute sleeping posture, the corners of his lips slowly curved into an enchanting smile.
Mo Qian bent down, gently placing her hands under the quilt and covering her up. He stood by the bed, silently watching her serene sleeping face, as if he couldn’t get enough.
After a while, he got into bed, stretching out his arms to pull the woman into his embrace.
Feeling the warmth beside her, Ji Wei naturally snuggled closer into his arms, mumbling suddenly: "Actually, I was lying to you... I did use my hands for you..."
Mo Qian’s chin rested on the soft top of her head, a hint of laughter in his deep eyes: "I appreciate it."
He lowered his head to kiss her smooth forehead, his thin lips moving: "Goodnight, Mrs. Gu."
