365 Days To Love-Chapter 93 - NINETY-THREE: She’s Stucked With Him.
"How’s she?"Avery asked the family doctor after he was done checking Hazel’s vitals and everything.
Luckily,Ma Lee made a mistake by saying she wasn’t breathing which had almost caused her a heart attack,but she only passed out and was breathing faintly which Ma Lee didn’t check properly before making an assumption that she wasn’t breathing at all.
But that wasn’t the case here,the worst of all was the red marks on the girl’s neck which was a result of someone nearly choking her to death which Avery knew who it was but held in her anger for the main time until the doctor was away.
"Luckily, she’s alive but barely,had it been you guys have been late it would have resulted to another dangerous case,she passed out due to shock,needless do I need to remind you that she may find it hard to speak prior to what happened to her chords,so I must advise you let her rest"
"Shock?"Avery asked not quite getting what he meant,her eyes fell on Zaiden who still had an emotionless demeanour this whole time while staring blankly at his sleeping Fianceè.
"It’s not yet confirmed yet what exactly triggered it, but I would require if once she wakes up,you let her talk about what led to her passing out to someone who she’s comfortable enough to talk to,and also please don’t let skip her meals,she’s looking malnourished,don’t let her skip the drugs too,I will be right back tomorrow to check up on her"Doctor Ken said smiling before taking his suitcase,bowed to Avery before leaving her,Zaiden and the unconscious Hazel in the room.
Avery went to clean off the sweat covering Hazel’s temple while still ignoring her son who was standing by the door side,his hands tucked in the pocket of his pants,which made her wonder if he’s just here for the sake of his fianceè or if he’s really concerned about her.
Her eyes fell on her red inflamed neck and she threw the face towel she was holding and walked up to Zaiden.
"Did you do this?it was you right?you tried to kill her,what the hell is wrong with you?!"She flared up grabbing him by his collar while he didn’t say any words but only kept his gaze on Hazel,he was avoiding his mother,knowing if he went ahead to talk to her he’s going to end up telling her what prompted this disaster.
She wasn’t the only problem here, there was a dead body right in front of the garden which was identical to that of their bodyguard,whose body parts were sliced skillfully with a knife by whosoever did that.
It all happened on the same night he had this argument with Hazel,ever since she came into his life,strange things started happening,he wouldn’t say if she was the one that killed him,nothing was confirmed yet but the police was sealing the garden off limits while talking to Grandpa and his dad while his ass is stuck here watching over his fianceè who betrayed him yesterday.
"You don’t want to talk huh?I’m warning you Zaiden Knights,this will be the first and last time you try such shit with an innocent..."Avery warning was cut short by his smirk.
"Innocent you say,mom wake up from that delusional sleep of yours,that girl is far from innocent"He said pointing at Hazel as if she was a nonliving thing that didn’t matter but his mother shocked him by slapping him.
She slapped him for the second time because of Hazel,she’s acting out of limits over her precious son because of some girl which she has taken a liking to over her son.
His mother sure is one funny human being,she wasn’t interested in what he had to say about the female which she brought in under her roof that was having an affair with her husband,she’s blinded by Hazel’s innocence just like she has portrayed the devil in sheep’s clothing to be an angel.
How was he going to break the news to his mother that Hazel wasn’t who she thinks she is?
Seeing as she’s attached to her, how’s she going to react to the news?
He wasn’t interested in Hazel for now,he’s concerned about his mother and the happenings in the family ever since Hazel came into their life.
A normal human being would sense that something was definitely wrong but his family were blinded by her charisma to think of what or who actually she was to bring chaos into the family.
The family was breaking,he could see that and it was because of Hazel, nevertheless,he’s got to find out who and what her agenda is by coming into their life,since no one is taking his side,he’s going to prove to them that Hazel was dangerous.
"I’m warning you Zaiden,stop it while I’m asking nicely,you are getting married to her and that is final,if you think I’m interested for your silly excuses you are dreaming,take care of your wife"she said lastly pushing him away from the entrance before leaving him and just fianceè alone to know what exactly was going on in the family house.
Zaiden scoffed,not believing that his own mother just threatened him,looking at his fianceè while sleeping. She’s such a pretty sight to see when she is sleeping,an innocent angel just like his mother had said but she’s dangerous.
Was the murder and her fainting just a coincidence?or does she have something to do with it?
This was actually the first time in history something hideous was done in the family house and yesterday,if he could remember she looked scared as if she had done something wrong or was it just his imagination?
Someone her size couldn’t take on someone like the dead guard and if eventually she wasn’t the one that did it,why would she look scared?
He couldn’t fathom any possible reason as to why Hazel would kill someone,as much as he’s angry at her for what she did with his dad,he knew his fiancee wasn’t the one that killed the guard.
"How’s she?"Nathan’s voice made him come out of his thoughts as he looked up to see him standing by the doorway with that sly smirk that’s constantly on his face which made him angry.
Was he here to mock him over what he did to his fianceè,he’s sure he’s aware of the marks on her neck seeing that he’s the first person to run off to their room when Ma Lee had kept everyone on tension after saying that she’s dead.
What exactly was he playing at? Does he like Hazel?
The possible reason as to why he’s the first person that came to Hazel’s rescue this morning made him clench his fist in annoyance,was everyone in his family drawn to Hazel?
His dad and now Nathan?
What’s so special about her?
For all he knew about her,apart from the pretty face she’s so annoying and a good kisser.

"Are you here because you are concerned about her or are you here because you missed the wrong steps?’’He asked waking over to sit beside Hazel on the bed while stroking her face which got a reaction from Nathan seeing him touch her.
He smirked when he caught him red-handed,he might fool the whole family with his not so caring attitude,but he’s not going to fool him,he likes Hazel and he can see it in his eyes,but that’s sad,because as much as she’s so annoying and a slut,he had taken extra measures which he hasn’t gone before to get her back into his life,he’s not willing to give up in her yet.
She’s stuck with him.
Even if he’s willing to do that,seeing as his cousin was now interested in what is his made him realise what fatal mistake he was about to make if actually he lets Hazel go,he’s interested in this game of his.

Was he the one who sent the pictures to him?
That’s another thing he’s interested to know,whosoever that captured that picture knew what exactly happened between his dad and Hazel,that’s why he didn’t want to tell his mother yet,he’s waiting for the person to speak up.
Someone was trying to push him to the edge using that picture,if they wanted anything from him,they would have threatened him with it,but seeing as he hasn’t received any calls or ransom by who so ever did that,made him knew that it was not an outsider that sent him the picture,it was one of his family members that did that, but who?
Nathan?
His uncle?
Sophia?
Grandpa?
Seeing as his grandpa was relaxed during the the time he’s arguing with his dad made him suspect if he knows about that picture,but if he knew about it why didn’t he take the necessary caution by throwing Hazel out,he knew his old man,or was he protecting her too?
"You know I would have loved to stay and listen to you nonsense blabbering, seeing as you still have the smart mouth,she’s okay,I have far more important things to do"Nathan said turning to leave but his next question stopped him and made him question himself if actually it was the truth.

Taking a deep breath,he turned to look at him standing some feet away from him,who the hell does he think he is to question him?

"Shut up!"Zaiden yelled, fisting his shirt while his other hand raised to punch him.
"You don’t scare me at all,we all know if you lose guard,she will eventually fall in love with me,so.."His words died down when Zaiden punched him.
"Jerk"He cursed as he felt his lips bursted, rushing over to take his revenge ,with the two facing each other with bloodied eyes,ready to devour each other.
