He has a trauma and you might guess it in the first chapter and due to this, he doesn't like losing control of situations. The more in control he is, the safer he feels. This changes as he gets close to the girls, learns more about them and trusts them.He is someone who climbed the corporate ladder by suppressing his pride, goals, feelings and putting on layers of masks to please others.
