While Manato is currently waiting for his destined enemy to arrive, everyone in the mansion is now being briefed by Almira. After fusing with her main body’s power, she also gained a bit of her previous abilities, including a bit of her precognitive powers that allow her to peek through the future for some moments.

No one knows about this ability of hers and she has no plans or anything that she would reveal this ability of hers to others. But she wanted to ensure that no one would die. As the one who governs the power of Death, she wanted to ensure, that no one will die.

"Thank you all for gathering with me today even though you all should be resting right now. However, I didn’t have any choice as this matter will decide whether we will survive this matter or not and this will also ensure that Manato will not be fighting multiple enemies and exhausting himself as a result which will allow the Goddess of Life to do what she pleases. With Manato busy on his task, our task right now would be to protect Manato without interfering or joining the fight between the two. We will be fighting our own battles this time around but since we are all together here, we will be able to do it. Since Manato left all of his pets and even followers on standby with us, then keeping the defense will work fine," Almira opened up the discussion regarding the situation and their current task.

"Question!" Riko raised her hand.

"Go ahead."

"Uh...if Manato is fighting the Goddess of Life, what are we going to fight against? Monsters?"

Almira shook her head. "No. To be accurate, we do fight against monstrous beings but they are not considered as monsters."

Almira then turned her head to Lucia. "I am talking about Demons."

"Demons? You mean like the same race as Lucia here?" Izmir frowned.

"Correct. They might not be that strong or even weak, but their numbers are quite troubling and due to my recent discovery that they are planning to assist the Goddess of Life in obtaining the power of the Tree of Life, then that only means one thing, they will be trying to join the battle and perhaps wear out Manato in the process. Our task is to prevent all of that."

"Didn’t think the demons would reappear again. I thought they had gone silent these recent times. They are just waiting for the right time," Queen Tanya grinned, knowing how the demons do their work.

Pandora noticed Lucia had gone silent and had a very serious look on her face after the mention of demons.

"Are you alright, Lucia-san?" Pandora asked.

"Yeah, I am fine. Didn’t think those papers were telling exactly this plan of theirs. And it will be happening any moment now."

Queen Tanya heard of it and approached the two.

"So all of those papers you translated and transcribed are all about the plans and how their plan will work on the final day?"

"Yes, although most of them are pretty vague at first, most of them have been fully told on the papers. It is just lacking concrete information and perhaps the manpower as well which is why they are waking the other demons as well. If not for Master waking me up instead of anyone from my race, then perhaps I am also one of your enemies," Lucia said.

Seemingly noticing her changing emotions, her arm seemed to respond like it was angry as well. Queen Tanya noticed it and smiled.

"Just calm down and control your emotions, alright? Knowing how your arm works, it should be best that you keep calm until you can say that you will unleash all of your emotions."

Lucia nodded. Clenching her fists, she is determined to see through this until the very end. Even if she is going to face her family.

"Next, we will not just be fighting against the demons this time around. Based on what I know they might be going to bring forth multiple monsters as well. It will not be a good thing for us, especially with our limited numbers which is why I will also be utilizing this mansion to its fullest as well. All you have to do is prevent the enemies from breaching the perimeter of the Goddess of Life and Manato’s battlefield. And no matter how long will it take, you all will have to be prepared for it."

Everyone nodded. The situation is grim and everyone is still recovering from their resurrection and yet, there is no time for resting. Everything is moving very fast and there is no such thing as a pause or even a downtime before the battle.

After the briefing, Almira ordered everyone to be vigilant at all times and head to the only place where the enemies would come, the only path where the demons would reach.

Everyone started their preparations, their final preparations for the biggest battle that they will ever face. This is no longer a game. This is a fight for survival and that is the truth.

And a few minutes after they have stationed themselves, the attack has finally begun.

"ON SIGHT! VISUAL OF DEMONS NOT TOO FAR FROM US! I SAW 5, NO 10...WAIT...THEY ARE INCREASING! EVERYONE! PREPARE FOR BATTLE!" Queen Tanya screamed and informed everyone of the incoming enemies.

"I also caught visuals of monsters alongside the demons! Get ready! Like what Almira said, there are also monsters! Let’s whittle their numbers while they are in the distance!" Rika shouted.

"Spell is ready!" Sora shouted.

"Arrows are ready!" Labo added.

"Vanguards are ready to intercept and defend! Ready anytime!" Akira gave his signal.

"Alright! All projectiles! FIRE!" Queen Tanya gave her orders and everyone ready to unleash their abilities released their powers.

Magic projectiles alongside magic-powered arrows come raining down on the incoming demons. Many of the demons seem to have not expected the resistance and are immediately struck and killed in the process. Those who saw it coming immediately raise their shields and weapons as everyone rallies towards the mansion that is currently blocking the only way to the altar.

Lucia readies her arm which immediately transforms into a monstrous longsword with some vicious-looking design on its blade. She looks at the incoming enemies and her eyes focused on one of the people riding in one of the monsters. Ever since the arm fused with her, her eyes also started to get good that she could see things from far away and things got slower as well. Although she didn’t survive the attack of the Goddess of Life because of its instantaneous kill, anything that is going through her is slowed in her eyes.

The demon she was looking at intently was none other than her father. He might have looked older but Lucia can’t ignore that he is indeed her father. The guy who has not realized that his only daughter is among the enemies.

Lucia will be confronting her father the moment he sees her. She couldn’t believe her eyes. One of the people she was looking forward to meeting soon would be one of the enemies she was destined to defeat. However, Lucia believes in what is right and she will stand for what she believes is the right thing to do.

"I don’t care whether you are my Father. If you all try to do anything, I will do it with all my power to defeat and stop you all from crossing the line. Even if it kills me, I will not let you all pass!"

As the roars of the demons are coming in, the group starts to clash with the demons as the final battle ensues behind them.
