Chapter 203: When Have I Ever Been Scared

She gasped and found herself melting under the sensation from his wandering tongue. "Jas..." moaned Cheryl.

"Mm-hmm, I love it when you call me like that, babe," Jason whispered equally aroused.

He accomplished the actions of his tongue with his lips, leaving feather like kisses all over her neck.

A soft sound escaped Cherry’s mouth again as she swallowed hard. His lips trailed the slight movement he felt from her throat as she swallowed. He never thought a woman’s neck would be so seductive in the past.

He deepened the kiss on her throat, giving it a little bite.

That seemed to nudge Cheryl back to earth from her delirious state.

She shoved him aside shyly and quickly escaped from the office to safe havens.

Her flight was followed by a deep chuckle from Jason who found her actions too cute.

"Don’t worry, it won’t be long before I help you discard all that shyness."

He followed afterwards but not before going into his bathroom to splash cold water on his face. At least that will help him reduce the huge visible budge from his trousers a bit.

Fortunately there were fewer offices on the presidential floor so no one was meant to have seen Cheryl’s escape from Jason’s office, however it so happened that Nuela Gales, aka, Information Box, just stepped out of the other elevator at that moment.

Her eyes widened in shock at the figure that suddenly dashed towards the President’s special elevator which was only used by the siblings and their parents.

"It seems President Jason has been playing naughty," she muttered under her breath, a slight smile hovering over her mouth.

As if her thoughts were boldly written on her face, she suddenly felt a cold presence and a deep sense of foreboding overwhelmed her.

She turned around slowly and met a cold piercing stare that made her almost wet her pant.

"I’m sorry, Sir," she mumbled, instantly dropping her gaze. Those eyes alone could make one admit to a murder charge that had nothing to do with you.

It seems luck was not on her side today as Jason refused to drop the topic. "What for?" He asked in a clipped tone..

Unfortunately, the poor Nuela did not know what to say. Come to think of it, Even she herself did not know why she was apologizing but she felt that was the most reasonable thing to say at the moment.

"I don’t know," she mumbled.

"You had better know what to say and what not to say as you leave here," Jason warned in a voice that made Nuela contemplate whether to seal her mouth for ever, because she could barely think of how to keep herself from telling at least a soul about this full blown gossip.

"Yes sir. I do know what not to say, Sir."

Jason shot her one last look before striding towards the elevator which had already arrived after it took Cheryl downstairs.

Jason met Cheryl already seated in her car. He had an amused smile on his face when he saw the way she suddenly turned her face away, avoiding his playful gaze.

"Hey babe. Are you not riding with me?"

"I have an early morning appointment tomorrow so I can’t leave my car here as I’ll be needing the car to go for that appointment."

The smile on Jason’s face grew bigger, hearing her words. "I thought tomorrow was usually your "sleep in" day. How come you suddenly have an appointment? Besides, you have another car that you can use if this car is not available."

Cheryl pouted, "It is my time, so I can do whatever I want with it or is it your "sleep in" or your appointment?"

Jason knew she was only trying to mask her earlier embarrassment, but he was not willing to let her off so easily. Opening her car door, he positioned himself arrogantly on the passenger seat in front beside Cheryl.

"Alright, I will have to leave my car behind and join you in yours. Does that settle the problem?"

"Why don’t you ride behind me?" Cheryl suggested.

Jason tilted his head to stare at her cute little face. "Are you scared I might do something to you?"

"When have I ever been scared?" Cheryl flung her head in the opposite direction, refusing to look at Jason.

The person she was scared of wasn’t Jason but her own self control.

Although they were engaged to be married soon, and their love could be described as unshakable, she had resolved on not having sex before marriage, but each minute she spent with Jason seems to make it difficult to stay true to that vow.

Jason on his own part had also been considerate enough by respecting her decision and would never take things too far, but the little teasing he gave her from time to time was getting too hard to endure.

"Then let’s go. I am starving, or are you no longer bothered that you will be held responsible if I starve to death?"

"Let’s go then." To prove that she was not scared, she strapped her seatbelt on and stopped insisting that they go in their separate cars.

Contrary to her fears, Jason did not make things difficult for her on their drive to the hotel where they were to dine. They only engaged in small discussions about the traffic and little things that caught their fancy on the way.

Before they got down from the car, Jason received a call which made his face brighten up instantly.

Cheryl knew without glancing at the screen that the call was either from Elvis or Eleanor but it was more likely to be Eleanor as that cute little sweetheart had the ability to warm her way effortlessly into any heart.

Having seen how he doted on and cared for both his niece and nephew, she couldn’t help but think of what an awesome father he will turn out to be in the future.
