Meanwhile, in the study, Augustine’s passion was a surging tide, growing harder to restrain as his actions grew bolder.

He gently lifted Su Yaoyao’s legs with both hands, making her involuntarily lock them around his waist.

Su Yaoyao immediately panicked, her eyes filled with alarm and helplessness. "N-No, I can’t," she stammered, her voice trembling. "Your Majesty, I really have to go."

Her mind was in utter chaos, with only a single thought running through it: ’If I don’t leave now, I’m really going to be "eaten alive" by this out-of-control situation.’

"Must you go?" Wild undercurrents seemed to swirl in Augustine’s wine-red eyes, a torrent of fervent desire and reluctance.

He stared intently at Su Yaoyao, his gaze filled with deep affection and resolve, as if searching her eyes for a reason to make her stay.

Su Yaoyao felt extremely flustered under his gaze, but the thought of Noah waiting in her chambers made her give a slow, visibly uneasy nod.

She didn’t dare meet Augustine’s eyes, afraid she would waver under his blazing gaze.

Seeing this, Augustine slowly leaned in and whispered in her ear:

"Then I will give you just one hour. When you are finished, come to my chambers. If I don’t see you in an hour, I will come and find you myself."

His voice was low and husky, laced with an authority that brooked no refusal.

"Mm," Su Yaoyao replied, her voice as soft and delicate as a spring breeze, tinged with a slight tremor.

She was filled with anxiety, hoping only to escape as quickly as possible to go and soothe Noah.

Augustine fought back the desire burning like a wildfire within him and slowly released Su Yaoyao.

As Su Yaoyao slid off the desk, her legs felt so weak she could barely stand. She staggered and fell right into Augustine’s arms.

This sudden move seemed to please Augustine. He couldn’t help but chuckle, his voice a mix of teasing and affection. "If you can’t bear to leave me, then don’t."

"Your M-Majesty, I’ll be leaving now." Su Yaoyao finally steadied herself, the blush still hot on her cheeks. Not daring to stay a second longer, she turned and headed for the study door.

"Yaoyao, don’t forget what I said," Augustine called after her retreating figure, his voice echoing through the study with an unquestionable authority.

Su Yaoyao’s steps faltered. Her heart hammered in her chest like a frightened rabbit, but she didn’t dare look back or answer, simply scurrying out of the study in a panic.

Meanwhile, at the door to the chambers, Noah’s downcast eyes lit up the instant he saw Su Yaoyao appear, as if his entire world had been set ablaze with color once more.

"Sister!" he cried out excitedly, running joyfully to her and throwing his arms around her in a tight hug.

As Noah embraced her tightly, Su Yaoyao was startled to feel a chill coming from him. "Why are you so cold?" she asked with concern. "Have you been waiting at the door this whole time?"

A pure, innocent smile spread across Noah’s face. "If you hug me, Sister, I won’t be cold anymore," he said, his tone wheedling.

"Let’s go inside." Her heart ached for him. She took his hand and hurried into the chambers.

Once inside, she had Noah sit on the bed and quickly draped a quilt over his shoulders, trying to warm him up.

"But Sister, I’m still so cold," Noah said, looking at Su Yaoyao pitifully, his purple eyes filled with helplessness.

Su Yaoyao froze, then said, troubled, "But I only have one blanket."

Noah blinked, and his purple eyes seemed to hold a thousand cunning thoughts.

He suddenly reached out, pulled Su Yaoyao onto his lap, and hugged her tightly. He rested his head affectionately on her shoulder and nuzzled his cheek against hers like a kitten seeking warmth, murmuring, "See? I’m not cold anymore."

Su Yaoyao’s face instantly flushed crimson. "D-Do we have to stay like this?" she stammered.

"Of course," Noah replied, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. "I waited for you for so long, Sister. I deserve this much compensation, don’t I? You promised you’d be right back. I thought you’d forgotten all about me." His voice was laced with a hurt tone, as if recounting the agony of his long wait.

"No, it was His Majesty—" Su Yaoyao started to explain, but then realized her mistake, quickly biting her lip and swallowing the rest of her words.

Noah’s eyes narrowed slightly. He had keenly picked up on her odd behavior. "What about His Majesty?" he pressed.

"N-Nothing." Su Yaoyao’s gaze darted about nervously, unable to meet his. How could she possibly tell him what had happened in the study?

She quickly changed the subject, stammering, "I-I wanted to find you to ask... about last night. Was it a dream, or was it real?"

A sly smile touched the corners of Noah’s mouth. He decided to tease her, feigning ignorance. "Last night? What about last night?"

"You know! Th-That..." Su Yaoyao’s face grew even redder, so flushed it seemed a drop of blood might spill from her cheeks. She was too embarrassed to form a complete sentence.

"Sister, if you don’t tell me clearly, I won’t know how to answer," Noah continued to play dumb, his eyes twinkling with mischief. Seeing her so shy filled him with a strange sense of delight.

Flustered and mortified, Su Yaoyao bit her lower lip. After a moment’s hesitation, she mustered her courage. "It’s about last night. I saw you... you wrapped your tentacles around me, and then you... you kissed me."

The moment the words left her mouth, her cheeks flushed scarlet, like ripe apples. Her shy expression was enough to stir feelings of tenderness in anyone’s heart.

"You mean, like this?" Noah’s voice was laced with a bewitching quality, as if it came from the distant depths of the sea, full of mystery and allure. Before the words had even faded, several long, flexible tentacles emerged from behind him like phantoms.

Two of the tentacles, like agile serpents, gently but firmly coiled around her legs.

Su Yaoyao cried out in alarm. Just then, Noah’s long fingers gently gripped her chin. The motion seemed soft, yet it carried an undeniable strength that forced her to turn her head toward him.

Then, his lips crashed down on hers. His tongue plundered her mouth, demanding her sweetness and leaving no corner unexplored.

Tightly bound by Noah and unable to move, her body plundered at his will, Su Yaoyao could only manage a faint whimper.

Her whole body trembled uncontrollably.

Her breathing grew ragged and uneven, her heart pounded like a drum.

In the enclosed space, Noah’s overwhelming presence completely enveloped her, making her almost forget how to think.

Her mind was filled with nothing but his searing heat and his domineering kiss, which threatened to set her alight and melt her completely. She lost all track of time, adrift in an endless, dizzying haze.
