Chapter 143: Chapter 143: We Were Real Last Night

Noah slowly released Su Yaoyao’s lips, which were swollen from his kisses. He tilted his head slightly, his hot breath ghosting over her delicate earlobe.

He then parted his lips and gently nibbled at her earlobe with his white teeth, as if savoring the sweetest fruit in the world.

His voice was low and bewitchingly intimate. "And then, Yaoyao?" he murmured. "Help me remember. Maybe then it will all come back to me." His tone was a calculated blend of innocence and cunning, as if he were deliberately teasing Su Yaoyao.

Su Yaoyao was left panting from his string of intimate, brazen actions. She struggled to steady her breath, her chest heaving violently. Her voice was laced with obvious panic and urgency as she said, "Noah, let me go."

Her hands instinctively pushed against Noah’s solid chest, but he was like an immovable mountain. Her struggles were utterly futile.

"Never... I will never let you go, Yaoyao. Not in this lifetime." Noah held Su Yaoyao captive in his arms, terrified she would disappear. His tone was filled with resolve and deep passion, a fiery emotion that threatened to consume her completely.

"Come on, Yaoyao, tell me. What exactly did we do last night?" Noah clearly had no intention of letting her off the hook, pressing her for an answer.

At the same time, his hands began to roam over her waist. The movements were seemingly gentle, yet they carried an unmistakable aggression.

"Like this? Or... like this?" Noah murmured, altering the motion of his hands. He alternated between a light caress and a firmer press, as if testing her every reaction.

"Ah..." A soft gasp escaped Su Yaoyao’s lips. The sudden sensation sent an involuntary tremor through her body. Her cheeks were already crimson, her eyes a whirlwind of shyness and panic. She looked like a startled deer.

"You know perfectly well what happened, Noah," Su Yaoyao said, biting her lip to stay lucid. Her voice trembled with agitation, tinged with reproach.

Noah looked up, his gaze locking with hers. "Last night was real."

His eyes burned with a fiery passion, as if willing her to accept the truth of his words.

Panic flared in Su Yaoyao’s heart. She struggled to organize her chaotic thoughts. With a flicker of doubt and unease, she asked, "Then why does my body feel so limp? It’s like it was all a dream. And there are no marks on me."

As she spoke, she instinctively glanced down at herself, as if searching for some physical proof of what had happened.

Noah chuckled softly, a smug, cunning glint in his eyes. He leaned closer to Su Yaoyao and murmured, "I was careful not to leave any marks. It seems you’re disappointed."

His gaze locked onto hers, possessive and probing, as he waited for her response.

Su Yaoyao’s face instantly became even redder, so flushed it looked as if it might burst.

She shook her head frantically, stammering, "N-no, I meant... I don’t feel sore, either. Did you... did you drug me?" A terrible premonition washed over her. She had a dreadful suspicion about what had really happened, and her heart filled with a mixture of anger and fear.

The smile on Noah’s face froze. He hadn’t expected her to be sharp enough to figure out what he’d done.

In truth, he had given her a sleeping draught. But before it had fully taken effect, he’d been unable to restrain his affections and couldn’t stop himself from making those intimate advances. As a result, she had woken up halfway through.

When he said nothing, Su Yaoyao knew. ’So my guess was right.’

"Noah!" Su Yaoyao couldn’t stop her voice from rising.

’Even though I was mentally prepared for this, even though I knew Noah was capable of something like this just to satisfy his own selfish desires... I’m still so angry.’

"Yaoyao, it’s only because I love you so much," he said, a fanatical gleam flashing in his eyes. "In that case, let’s make sure you feel the soreness this time, while you’re wide awake." At that moment, he seemed completely possessed by his desires.

The words were barely out of his mouth before he moved, tackling Su Yaoyao and throwing her onto the bed.

Then, he eagerly lowered his head and began kissing her madly, from her slender neck to her delicate collarbones and downward, as if releasing all his long-suppressed love in a torrent of kisses.

Su Yaoyao’s eyes were wide with shock, her mind blank.

Just as Noah, completely out of control, was kissing her wantonly, the door to the bedchamber was slammed open with a loud BANG.

Augustine stood in the doorway, his face a mask of rage. His eyes, burning like twin flames, were locked on the infuriating scene on the bed.

Seeing Su Yaoyao’s disheveled clothes and the fear and panic in her eyes as Noah lay on top of her, Augustine felt a wave of fury explode in his head.

He didn’t dare to imagine what might have happened if he’d arrived even a moment later.

Overcome with rage, he stormed in. He crossed to the bed in two long strides, his hand shooting out to grip Noah’s shoulder like a vise. With a savage yank, he ripped Noah away from Su Yaoyao. Noah staggered and nearly fell.

"Noah! I’m going to kill you!" Augustine trembled with rage, his voice ground out between clenched teeth, dripping with fury and killing intent.

At that moment, he was completely blinded by jealousy and rage, wanting nothing more than to tear the man who dared covet his beloved to shreds.

Noah finally managed to steady himself. Though inwardly panicked, he put on a brave face. "I am the Second Prince of the Sea Clan," he declared defiantly, watching Augustine warily and trying to use his status as a deterrent. "If you touch me, you are declaring war on the entire Sea Clan."

Augustine’s extreme anger turned into a cold laugh. He took a step forward, looming over Noah, and enunciated each word with chilling precision. "Hmph. The Second Prince of the Sea Clan? So what? You dare touch what is mine... and I don’t care if the entire Sea Clan is backing you. I will show no mercy."

A powerful pressure radiated from Augustine—an aura built from a lifetime of high authority. It was almost a physical force, pressing down on Noah until he could barely breathe.

Seizing the opportunity while the two were locked in a standoff, Su Yaoyao quickly sat up and straightened her disheveled clothes.

The flush of passion hadn’t yet faded from her eyes, and her thoughts were a whirlwind of panic and confusion.

’I can’t believe His Majesty walked in on this. It’s so embarrassing.’

’And how did things escalate this far?!’
