Teasing Her Beast Husbands Until They Fall Hard
Chapter 141: I Won’t Let You Go
Augustine watched Su Yaoyao’s bashful expression, and the love in his heart surged like a bursting dam.
He slowly drew near, a hint of desire in his eyes. One hand rested gently on Su Yaoyao’s waist, pulling her into his embrace as he said in a low, husky voice, "Yaoyao..."
His tone seemed to silently convey endless longing and desire. He tilted his head up slightly, his lips slowly approaching hers until his warm breath ghosted across her cheek.
Just as Augustine’s lips were about to touch hers, Su Yaoyao seemed to remember something, and her expression changed in an instant.
She subconsciously raised her hands and gave Augustine a gentle but firm push, her eyes filled with panic and anxiety.
Augustine was stunned by the sudden move. The passion in his eyes was instantly replaced by confusion. He frowned slightly, looked at Su Yaoyao, and asked softly, "What’s wrong, Yaoyao?"
Su Yaoyao looked mortified. She bit her lip and said apologetically, "Your Majesty, I’m sorry... I just remembered, Noah is still waiting for me in my chambers. I promised him I’d be back soon. I can’t keep him waiting too long."
The moment Augustine heard that Noah was waiting for her in her chambers, a wave of inexplicable jealousy surged through him.
His expression darkened. Without a word, he abruptly pulled Su Yaoyao into a tight embrace, his arms like iron clamps, rendering her almost immobile.
"I forbid you to go."
Augustine rarely used his imperial title when speaking to her. The formal address carried an unquestionable authority and profound jealousy.
He held Su Yaoyao tightly, as if afraid she would disappear the very next second.
The embrace was so tight it hurt. Su Yaoyao’s face was a mask of anxiety and helplessness. "Your Majesty, please let me go. I’m the one who made plans with Noah. If he waits too long without seeing me, he’ll worry."
Augustine snorted, a flash of disdain in his eyes. "You’re that worried about him?"
Then, turning to the side, he swept an arm across the desk. The neatly stacked documents instantly scattered to the floor like snowflakes.
In the next moment, he used the momentum to press Su Yaoyao down onto the desk—gently, yet possessively.
Su Yaoyao cried out in surprise, but before she could react, Augustine’s lips came crashing down on hers.
The kiss was filled with fierce possessiveness and jealousy. Augustine’s tongue eagerly parted her teeth, plundering the sweetness within her mouth.
Su Yaoyao struggled desperately. Finally finding a sliver of space, she gasped, "Your Majesty... please don’t do this. Let me go back. I have something important to discuss with him."
At her words, Augustine froze. He lowered his head to gaze at her and said, enunciating each word, "Then what about me? Am I not important to you? You’d rather go be with him than stay by my side for a little while longer?" His voice held a slight tremor—a vulnerability born from the corrosion of jealousy and insecurity.
Su Yaoyao’s heart softened. Seeing the hurt in Augustine’s eyes, she was filled with guilt. "Your Majesty, you’re just as important to me, but..."
"Then don’t refuse me," Augustine’s voice was low and urgent, leaving no room for argument.
Before the words had even faded, he kissed her again. This kiss seemed to carry all of his insecurity, jealousy, and desire, crashing over Su Yaoyao like a tidal wave.
The sudden, fervent kiss made Su Yaoyao’s mind go blank.
Her heart churned with conflict and struggle. On one hand, she felt a deep love and ache for Augustine; on the other, she worried Noah would do something drastic if he waited too long.
’This is driving me crazy,’ she lamented to herself. Yet when she again met Augustine’s eyes, a look filled with both hurt and deep affection, a wave of pity grew in her heart like a tangled vine.
’Fine. I’ll soothe His Majesty first,’ Su Yaoyao sighed to herself.
She slowly closed her eyes, her long lashes trembling like the wings of a startled butterfly.
Then, she raised her hands and gently wrapped them around Augustine’s neck, a silent response and comfort.
She began to return his kiss. Her movements were clumsy and hesitant at first, but with Augustine’s gentle yet passionate guidance, she gradually lost herself in the intimacy, a tangle of complex emotions.
Feeling Su Yaoyao’s response, the fire of jealousy in Augustine’s heart was gradually replaced by tenderness.
His kisses grew gentler, as if savoring her beauty.
The two of them remained lost in that deep kiss, as if time itself had stopped just for them.
In that moment, it felt as though the entire world had faded away, leaving only the sound of their intertwined heartbeats and breaths.
Meanwhile, in Su Yaoyao’s chambers, Noah had been waiting obediently in the inner room, joyfully anticipating her return.
He sat on the soft sofa, his eyes darting toward the door from time to time. He kept imagining the moment he would see Su Yaoyao again, and the corners of his mouth turned up in a sweet, unconscious smile.
However, as the minutes and seconds ticked by, Su Yaoyao still had not appeared.
Noah began to grow restless. He fidgeted on the sofa, one moment standing up to pace the room, the next sitting back down, a trace of anxiety slowly creeping into his eyes.
"Why isn’t Yaoyao back yet? Did something happen to her?" he muttered, his worry intensifying.
Finally, unable to contain his anxiety any longer, Noah strode out of the inner room and went straight to the chamber’s entrance. He peered out, searching for any sign of Su Yaoyao. After standing for a long time, he simply sat down on the floor.
He rested his chin in his hands, his eyes glued to the hallway before him, as if he could make Su Yaoyao appear just by staring hard enough.
Outside the chambers, the silence was almost oppressive.
An occasional breeze would stir the hair on Noah’s forehead, but it could do nothing to dispel the ever-thickening disappointment in his heart.
As the wait stretched on, the light in Noah’s eyes gradually dimmed, and his initial excitement vanished without a trace.
"Did Yaoyao forget I’m still here waiting for her...?" Noah’s voice was filled with dejection.
His shoulders slumped slightly, making him look as pitiful as an abandoned puppy.
With every minute that passed, his hope dwindled, while a sense of disappointment washed over him like a relentless tide, threatening to drown him.
"I just wanted to spend a little time with Yaoyao. Why is that so hard?" Noah murmured, tears welling in his eyes.
He looked up at the now-dark sky, the sense of grievance in his heart growing ever stronger.
Throughout the long wait, Noah’s mood had shifted from joyful anticipation to utter dejection. He didn’t know when Su Yaoyao would finally return, or what place he truly held in her heart...
