Deadly Ridge

Jeremy Night is gaining control over the body. The healing liquid administered by the elder is powerful.

The injured internal organs were healing. The bleeding had stopped. They were recovering at a faster rate.

He sighed in relief. He was worried that he would bleed to death earlier. It was a close call. He underestimated the strength of the Tier-6 beast.

In particular, he didn’t take the ability of the lifeline beast into account. A higher-tier beast can defeat him from a distance with its ability.

He has a slim chance if he is close to the beast body. He can then use starlight power to create a chance or injure the beast.

But he was helpless against the ability of the beast at this moment. The sound attack was a good example.

He couldn’t ignore the help of the lifeline beast as well. The unknown beast egg provided him with timely help.

The white mists protected him from the sound attack earlier. It shows that the beast inside the egg was active and intelligent. It just needed massive resources to hatch.

Jeremy was more determined to collect the resources. He was saved by the lifeline beast many times. He should do something as well.

Once the unknown beast egg was hatched, he couldn’t imagine the strength of the beast. He is looking forward to the day.

Just as he pondered, he felt an unknown crisis all of a sudden. The crisis which had disappeared earlier had come again.

Jeremy was shocked. He slightly adjusted his body and raised his head. He started using eye power. He used zoomed-in vision and saw that the Elder is talking to someone.

On the other hand, Elder Hugo was taken aback by the arrival of Walter. He needs to stop him from targeting the young man.

Gibbs sighed in relief. He is looking toward the old man standing in the mid-air.

"Elder, save me," Gibbs uttered.

Hearing that, Walter looked at him.

"Harumph," he snorted the next second.

"You guys can’t even kill a mere Tier-3 Beast Tamer. The Hill Family has fallen to this level," Walter said in a cold tone.

Elder Hugo is getting confirmation. He can tell that the 2 forces are colluding with each other.

"What are those two doing?" Hugo frowned.

Walter then noticed that the target could be still alive. He needed to confirm the death with his own eyes.

"You go and kill that young man. This person is not alone. There are two other Tier-7 Beast Tamers. They could be here any time," Walter said to him.

Hearing that, Gibbs was shocked to the core. He had thought only one Tier-7 Beast Tamer was here. He didn’t expect there were two others in the vicinity.

If he delays any further, he might die.

Roar!

The black panther roared out. It came across the Tier-7 Beast of the old man Walter again.

Walter smiled and said, "You can’t stop us."

Hearing that, Elder Hugo tried to stop Gibbs. But he was blocked by Walter.

Swoosh!

Gibbs charged towards the uphill using the opportunity. He wanted to kill the young man right away.

Seeing that, Elder Hugo was pissed off. But he was being blocked by Walter. Both of them started engaging in a fistfight.

Meanwhile,

Jeremy Night watched everything. His eye power provided him with the zoomed-in vision. He didn’t know about the conversation.

But he saw the old man who had been for the first time to the deadly ridge. Now he appeared again. It appears that the Elder didn’t stop the old man.

Now, the Tier-6 Beast Tamer is rushing towards him. He thinks the Tier-6 Beast Tamer wanted him dead. He had thought they would ignore him.

He had suffered so many injuries. Yet these people weren’t convinced. Knowing that the Tier-6 Beast Tamer was coming towards him, he had only one shot to kill him.

Jeremy started covering the index finger in a starlight thread. The starlight threads wrapped around his index finger perfectly.

If the Tier-6 Beast Tamer gets close to him, then he would use the index finger to strike.

He waited for the person to come. Right now, he is lying on the ground. If someone looked at him, they might think he was unconscious.

Gibbs was naturally faster. He saw where the target was lying. Gibbs didn’t mind the poisonous plants. They are ineffective against the higher-tier beast tamers.

Upon finding the target, he cracked a wide grin on his face.

"This b@stard is a cockroach," Gibbs said.

He found that the target was lying on the ground. But he could feel the trace of vitality left in the body. Fortunately, the elder had told him to kill him.

Otherwise, he would have ignored it. He would have assumed the young man died due to bleeding.

He then started walking towards him. He took out a knife from his ring. It’s a long black knife with a sharp blade.

He held it in his hand and walked up to him. He arrived in front of the target. He stood there. He saw that the target closed his eyes. He seemed to be unconscious.

If he was conscious, he would have tried to flee already. It makes the job easier for him. He cracked a grin before raising the blade to stab.

The blade was about to land on the chest. The face of the Tier-6 Beast Tamer was close to the body. He was absolutely clueless.

Right then, Jeremy snapped open his eyes. He saw the face of the Tier-6 Beast Tamer close to him. The sharp blade was close to his heart.

Swoosh!

He moved his index finger to attack. It was so fast.

Under the shocking gaze of Gibbs, the starlight thread became like a sharp thin wire before it went through his eyes. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Blood spurted out from the eye sockets. The starlight thread didn’t stop there. It was able to penetrate the skull and drill a hole into the brain.

Gibbs’ eyes were filled with terror and disbelief. He only remembers the flash of the starlight thread. He was brain dead.

His whole body paralyzed before dropping dead onto the ground.

Jeremy withdrew his finger. He sighed in relief. Soon, the vitality will drop. The person will die quicker. The starlight power didn’t disappoint him.
