Deadly Ridge

The towering Tier-6 Cave Bat Beast was right above the target. It had wide wings and sharp fangs.

Both of its claws were about to grab the target.

The beast looked treacherous. Its eyes wanted to taste the blood of the target.

Boom!

Right then, a massive wind force appeared.

All of a sudden, a four-legged beast collided into the Cave Bat beast. It happened so fast.

The Cave Bat beast was thrown off from the spot.

The remaining shock force from the collision struck the ground.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night was affected by the impact force.

The huge tree was almost uprooted.

Jeremy Night was once again thrown off. He didn’t know how many times he had experienced this. His body had so many bruises.

Puchak!

He was hurt again. Blood was coming out of the wound. But his mind was not on that.

He was looking at the massive four-legged beast which attacked the bat beast.

He could only see the height of the huge leg. He couldn’t see the total size of the body. It showed that the beast was a higher-tier beast.

Help had arrived. It was probably the elders from earlier. He sighed in relief. He loosened the grip on the handgun.

Shriek!

The Cave Bat Beast let out a weird scream. It had been attacked by a Black Panther. The Panther is the lifeline beast of Elder Hugo. It’s a Tier-7 Corrupted Beast.

Boom!

It was only a Tier-6 Beast. It couldn’t handle the impact force. The Bat Beast crashed into the ground.

It hurt. The massive beast tried to escape.

Roar!

But the Panther appeared in front of the beast. The size of the panther was larger than the bat beast.

It had a steel-like body. The muscles were heavily built. Its body was pitch black.

The whole appearance was menacing, with radiating blue eyes.

The Panther’s eyes flickered with intelligence.

Roar!

Its blue gaze fell on the terrified cave bat.

It roared out loud. The coercion from its body was released. It immediately applied to the cave bat beast.

Boom!

The massive cave bat beast was immediately suppressed. The Panther’s coercion was domineering.

The Cave Bat beast wasn’t able to do anything. It was completely locked. The panther didn’t get the order to kill.

Otherwise, the Panther would have bitten the beast already.

On the other hand, Gibbs was terrified. He felt the pain as well. His lifeline beast was completely suppressed right now.

He tried to recall it, but he saw the giant panther in front of his beast. His eyes filled with fear.

He is a Tier-6 Beast Tamer. He felt fear from the lifeline beast. The cave bat beast was scared right now.

It was only possible if the Black Panther was a higher tier. It could be a Tier-7 beast. He broke out into a cold sweat.

If the Tier-7 Lifeline beast was here, then the Beast Tamer was here as well.

"It must be support," Gibbs thought.

On the other hand, Elder Hugo appeared in the sky. His gaze fell on the cave bat beast. Then he saw the Tier-6 Beast Tamer at the bottom.

Just before he could turn around, he felt someone lying on the ground. He recalled the face of the young man.

"This kid," Hugo uttered.

He recognized Jeremy Night. The next second, he appeared in front of Jeremy Night and checked his condition.

He saw that the young man looked bloodied. The flesh, skin, and bones were hurt.

Right then, Jeremy Night knew the elder had arrived. He was worried about the white mists.

Buzz!

The unknown beast egg took back the white mists. In the blink of an eye, the white mists disappeared.

Elder Hugo was done with the outer inspection. He then tried to check the internal condition of Jeremy Night.

He found that the internal organs of the young man didn’t seem to be that hurt. He sighed in relief.

He then took out a vial containing blue liquid. He then poured the blue liquid on his body.

The blue liquid was a powerful healing medicine. It was the saliva of a powerful Tier-9 beast.

The blue liquid seeped into the skin and touched the injured areas. The wound stopped bleeding.

Then he disappeared from the spot.

Boom!

Gibbs was in shock. Before he could do something, he saw someone appear before him. The person was none other than Elder Hugo.

Hugo saw the uniform. He recognized the Beast Taming Hill Family. His eyes flickered.

"What’s the connection between the Beast Taming Hill Family and the Darkshade Organization?" he asked.

Hearing that, Gibbs was terrified. He didn’t expect those people to get caught as well. He didn’t have any idea about their involvement.

Hugo saw through his thoughts. Now he was sure that there must be some kind of connection. If it were others, he would have attacked.

Since he is from the Beast Taming Forces, he needed to capture him and take him back to the organization first.

"Take back your lifeline beast," Hugo said.

Hearing that, Gibbs nodded his head in fear. He realized that they were exposed.

Swoosh!

The Cave Bat Beast turned into light and came back to his mental zone.

Hugo didn’t call back his panther. He knew Walter was still there. He could appear at any time.

So he gave orders to the Panther. It needed to stop Walter and his lifeline beast.

Roar!

The black panther roared and left the place to monitor the surroundings.

Hugo then turned towards Gibbs.

"Did you guys come to kill the two young members?" Hugo asked.

Gibbs nodded his head. He had no other options.

Hugo understood now, but he didn’t know the reason. It needed further interrogation.

Roar!

The Black Panther roared out loud.

Hearing that, the expression on Hugo’s face changed.

"He is here," he uttered.

Tier-7 Beast Tamer Walter was here. He had thought everything was over. But he didn’t expect the target to be still alive.

When his gaze fell on Gibbs, his eyes flashed with disappointment. He couldn’t believe a Tier-6 beast tamer took this long to complete the task.

Yet he had failed in the process.

Gibbs saw the Tier-7 Beast Tamer as well. He sighed in relief. He thought that the Elder would help him out.
