Jeremy made a sprint before slashing down at them one by one. The blade in his hand moved before cutting through their throats.

Blood gushed forth from their throats. Their eyes filled with unwillingness. They had only seen a blur before the attack.

The two Tier-5 Beast Tamers lay on the ground dead. This happened within the blink of an eye.

After killing them, he charged at the Tier-6 Beast Tamer. He ignored the poisonous plants along the way.

He wanted to attack the Tier-6 Beast Tamer before he could release the lifeline beast.

Boom!

Gibbs was shocked. He saw the death of the two beast tamers.

A powerful coercion released from his body due to anger. What happened was incredible.

He immediately called back his lifeline beast: the massive Cave Bat Beast. The Cave Bat Beast, which was patrolling, heard the command.

It made a turn all of a sudden. It started heading back towards the bottom of the Deadly Ridge. Its massive wings generated a wind force.

The wind force spread across the area and affected the surroundings.

The Elders were doing their job on the other end. Two of the three elders were fighting against the Tier-6 Beast Tamers.

On the other hand, Senior Elder Hugo was fighting against old man Walter. They were a mile away from the Deadly Ridge.

The other two elders were also fighting a mile away from the Deadly Ridge.

It didn't take long for the Cave Bat Beast to make its return. The shade trees swayed violently due to the wind force.

Gibbs saw the beast. He gave the order to kill the target right away. He didn't want to take any chances now.

Earlier, he didn't know exactly how the target, Jeremy Night, had killed the beast tamers. The target was only carrying a blade.

Yet he was able to reach them and slit their throats.

The Tier-6 Cave Bat Beast made a weird sound and flapped its wings hard.

On the other hand, Melinda, who was dealing with the Tier-5 Beast Tamers, heard the sound. Her lifeline beast was screaming at her.

She turned around and saw a massive beast flying over the Deadly Ridge. She understood it was the same beast that had been probing earlier.

The faces of the three Beast Tamers changed drastically. They didn't expect the Team Leader to release the lifeline beast all of a sudden.

If the beast released a sound attack, they would be caught in the crossfire as well.

Right then, Jeremy put his katana blade away and took the handgun from the case. He saw the massive beast coming over.

He coated the bullets in starlight power. He held the gun tightly. He understood that it would be difficult to reach the Tier-6 beast.

But he was going to try his best. He just hoped that Senior Melinda was safe.

The Tier-6 Cave Bat Beast used its sound ability. The sound attack released from its wide mouth.

The sound attack spread across the dark ridge. In the blink of an eye, the sound attack reached the beast tamers. It affected them instantly.

Aaaahh!

The Beast Tamers let out muffled grunts.

The three Tier-5 Beast Tamers failed to withstand the attack. The sound attack was hurting their eardrums.

Melinda faced the sound attack as well. She thought her eardrums were going to burst. If she used her lifeline beast now, it would be affected.

If a lifeline beast were to get injured, it would cause a backlash.

The three Tier-5 Beast Tamers fled from the place. They ran from the spot so they could get away from the sound attack.

Once they were outside the range, they could use their lifeline beasts to escape faster.

Melinda saw them leaving as well. She started following them from behind.

She was worried about Jeremy Night, but her heart told her that Jeremy might have a way to leave. She needed to take care of herself first.

Jeremy Night had survived the Beast Tide. He might have an option to deal with the Tier-6 beast.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night let out a small scream. He felt a splitting headache and searing pain in his head.

He was feeling more pain than the others because of his Tier-3 strength. His real strength was weaker than a Tier-5 Beast Tamer.

He could only match the others because of the starlight power. His starlight power gave him the ability to slay Tier-5 Beast Tamers and corrupted beasts.

Recently, he had slayed the Tier-6 Beast Tamer Roland Hill. It was all because of the starlight power. He could not do much without it.

He could use Star Fist, but it needed starlight power as well.

Aaaahhh!

The sound continued to hurt him. If this went on, he would die quickly.

Meanwhile,

Gibbs was watching everything from the bottom. He saw that two members and one of the targets had fled from the spot.

But the main target was trapped. The sound attack was killing him.

Gibbs cracked a wide grin. He could already imagine Jeremy Night dying from internal bleeding.

As the seconds passed, blood began to leak from both of Jeremy's ears. He was losing consciousness.

He didn't know what to do. He could only think of the unknown beast egg.

Boom!

The massive Cave Bat Beast found the target. It circled in mid-air, but the sound attack continued to land on Jeremy Night.

Buzz!

The unknown beast egg inside the mental zone felt uncomfortable. It noticed that the Beast Taming Contractor was dying.

The unknown beast egg acted. A white mist surged forth from the egg. The white mist came out of the mental zone and entered his body.

In the blink of an eye, the white mist covered his whole body. It reached both eardrums.

It protected the eardrums like a layer. Similarly, the energy protected his internal organs.

Only then did the bleeding stop. Jeremy regained consciousness and mobility. He took control of his body.

He could feel the white mist coming from the unknown beast egg. The egg had saved his life yet again.

Buzz!

He could hear the buzzing sound again. It was coming from the Tier-6 Cave Bat Beast. If not for the white mist, he would have died.
