Deadly Ridge

Boom!

The next second, he summoned the lifeline beast outside. A massive beast over 5 metres appeared.

The appearance of the cave bat beast immediately silenced other lifeline beasts.

They all quieted down. They lowered their posture and allowed the cave bat beast to do the job.

The Tier-6 Cave Bat beast was pitch black in colour. Its presence itself was menacing.

The cave bat beast rose from the ground. It hovered in mid-air. Seeing that, Gibbs gave orders to the lifeline beast.

The next second, the Cave Bat beast flew over the dark ridge. The area of the black ridge was big.

If it wanted, it could have searched the place in one stretch. But Gibbs gave the orders.

He didn't want the target to be alerted. If they were alerted, then they could send emergency messages to the higher-ups.

The Tier-6 Cave Bat then used one of its abilities. It had to do with sound. The cave bat beast released an echo.

The echo spread across the place. It didn't take long for the echo power to cover the dark ridge slowly.

The echo power came in contact with the two people who were moving uphill.

Jeremy Night immediately felt a powerful probing hit him. Not only did he feel the probing, but Melinda felt the probing as well.

Her lifeline beast alerted her about the Tier-6 lifeline beast. Melinda was shocked to the core.

She was absolutely sure that no one would come to a place like the deadly dark ridge.

This place was of no use to Tier-6 Beast Tamers and above. But she had no idea that they were here for them.

She continued to take Jeremy Night towards the uphill.

Meanwhile,

The Tier-6 Cave Bat beast returned to his side. Gibbs then took the lifeline beast back to his mental zone.

Gibbs heard the answers from the lifeline beast. He knew that the targets were up ahead. Gibbs then turned towards the members.

He signaled the Tier-5 Beast Tamers to go ahead. He wanted the members to surround the targets. Yes, he would kill other members as well.

He didn't want their involvement to be leaked. If others knew about the Beast Taming Hill Family, it would cause serious problems for their Family Head, Robert.

Once the members started walking through the forest, they entered the deadly ridge.

Gibbs then released the Tier-6 Cave Beast again. The massive beast appeared in mid-air. He told the beast to monitor the surroundings.

He didn't want any corrupted beasts or Beast Tamers to come to the place.

Boom!

The massive cave bat beast took flight. It started flying in mid-air. When the beast left the place, Gibbs turned his gaze towards the uphill.

He was not in a hurry to kill them. If his lifeline beast came across any disturbance, then he would kill the target right away.

Right now, he wanted the members to surround both the targets.

Meanwhile,

Melinda was guiding Jeremy Night to the hilltop. But they were moving slowly. Right then, Melinda felt something was wrong.

Her lifeline beast was warning her. She immediately paused her footsteps.

She then turned towards Jeremy Night and said, "We have trouble. There are Tier-5 Beast Tamers coming towards us. I feel an even stronger one is standing at the base."

Hearing that, Jeremy Night showed no surprise. He nodded to her. He realised that the Beast Tamers coming towards them were the second team.

He had noticed the first team was scattered by the elders. The second team was not the same. He used his eye ability to observe them. He recognised their uniform.

They were from the Beast Taming Hill Family. His eyes flickered with understanding.

"So Darkshade and the Hill Family have joined hands," Jeremy thought.

His eyes flickered with coldness. He thought it was time to take action.

He unsheathed the blade and held the katana blade in his hand. He looked towards the Beast Tamers.

Right then, Melinda understood the problem. They had come with ill intentions. She knew Jeremy's strength.

He could handle the Tier-5 Beast Tamers. But the real problem was the one standing at the foot of the ridge.

She decided to call for help after dealing with the Tier-5 Beast Tamers first.

"Jeremy, there are five people. I'm going to confront three of them. But you have to handle the remaining two," Melinda said.

Both of them had a chance because the deadly ridge was not an easy place to fight.

If she could use the help of the environment, then she had a chance to defeat the others.

"Okay," Jeremy Night added.

On the other hand, the five Tier-5 Beast Tamers were getting closer. His ultimate goal was to eliminate the Tier-6 Beast Tamer.

Swoosh!

The next moment, he left the place. He went towards the two Tier-5 Beast Tamers closest to him.

Seeing that, Melinda acted. She went to the opposite side to confront the three Tier-5 Beast Tamers.

Jeremy Night tried to move faster using his eye power. While walking, he covered the katana blade in starlight power.

On the other hand, the Tier-5 Beast Tamers saw the target. They looked at each other before confirming it was Jeremy Night.

But they couldn't release their lifeline beasts here. The poisonous plants would affect them. They looked towards the target. He was just a Tier-3 Beast Tamer.

Two of them decided to capture him in person. If the poisonous plants here were dangerous to them, then they were dangerous to the Tier-3 Beast Tamer as well.

If the target took his lifeline beast out, it would die faster. So they were confident in taking out the Tier-3 Beast Tamer.

Meanwhile,

Gibbs was watching from below. He could tell the strategy of the team members. They were afraid of their lifeline beasts getting poisoned.

He shook his head. But he could not order them to take the risk. They were Family Beast Tamers.

Each one of the Tier-5 Beast Tamers was an asset to the family.

He wanted to complete the mission without casualties. He doubted any would even occur.
