Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy

Luo Muchen took it away from him with a hint of annoyance on his face. Why did Neoma want to know about Qie Xieling? How was that relevant? "That’s not important. What I want to know is how to open it."

Neoma sighed. He had no idea either. He was just fascinated by it because it was like a legendary vault that was rare to stumble upon. "Captain. I am a genius but I am not that much of a genius. The only person I know who can know that information is a dwarf from Svartalfheim. They are the ones who forged this vault."

Luo Muchen sighed as well. He had the urge to kick the table that had the computer on it. "So you’re telling me I need to find a dwarf who is probably long dead? That race went extinct a long time ago," he said fully aware of the history. His great-great-grandfather who was currently in his father’s body was the one who slaughtered their entire race into extinction.

He plundered everything and slaughtered all of them before blowing up the planet to nothing. According to history books, it was because they had provoked the Coalition first by slaughtering their allies but he knew now that was just an excuse to get their precious resources and inventions. Luo Muchen clenched his fist in anger.

"Well, there is a rumour though that on Rion the fallen station there is a person making weapons using the Svartalfheim’s secret technique. It just needs someone with a lot of resources to find them " said Neoma.

"Then we head to Rion," he said before turning to leave. Neoma still wanted to know where he got it and his nosy self wouldn’t let it go.

"Wait, wait, wait. Captain, I need to know where you got that. It is an incredible treasure and you know I am dying to know," he said, pleading with Luo Muchen. But the captain gave him a fierce glare that made him yelp in fear.

It was only after the captain left that he sighed in relief. He pressed his communicator and called Bo Ailun. He really wanted to know where the captain got that box and the only other person who would know was his right-hand man. He was prepared to butter him up so he put on his best smile.

Bo Ailun picked up after a few seconds and the first thing Neoma said was, "Hi bestie." Bo Ailun immediately cut the call with no mercy.

Neoma, "..."

Maybe the bestie thing went a little too far.

"Argh... fuck," mumbled Qie Xieling after falling off the bed. Well, at least he thought he was sleeping on his bed.

Looking around, he found himself in the middle of Luo Muchen’s lounge lying on the ground. He had fallen off the couch and was now lying on the carpet. All around him was darkness, with a faint light coming from the panel. Still disoriented from his hangover, he stumbled to his feet and slowly walked toward the panel, which was the source of the light.

Another door suddenly opened and Qie Xieling scratched his head. When he realised he was still wearing a wig he took it off and tossed it carelessly. Just like when he was home he started to strip off his clothes feeling hot. He took off his top and skirt leaving only his underwear before slipping into the covers.

Just like he used to do in the previous world he kissed Luo Muchen’s cheek before cuddling him and falling asleep. Luo Muchen who had taken a shot of the powerful machine that helped him manage the pain when he was using the restorative medicine to temporarily erase his burn scars felt nothing.

When the King found out that his mother knew his secret, he tried to push her to the eternal fire pit Anavar to kill her but he ran to save her only to be pushed down instead. The flames only managed to touch half his face and arm before his father fished him out of there. It wasn’t out of love but he was driven by the need for Luo Muchen’s body to live on another hundred years.

The burns healed eventually but the scars couldn’t be removed permanently. He could only inject himself with the restorative medicine but the pain was so excruciating that he chose to wear a mask on half his face and hand to cover up the ugly scars.

Today after he came back from the armoury he saw that his scar were starting to show. He could have chosen to put on the mask just like every other time this happened but he was suddenly unhappy with his appearance. It bothered him so much that he took the medicine. This meant he was completely knocked out and didn’t hear Qie Xieling come in.

Six hours later...

His biological clock at work he opened his eyes. When he was about to get up he felt something was wrong. He already knew in his heart what was wrong but he still slowly pulled the quilt up and what he saw made his heart sink. Qie Xieling’s face was buried in his chest and when he pulled the covers up Qie Xieling mumbled, "Mu Mu it’s too cold," before pulling the quilt down further curling into his arms.

Luo Muchen, "..."

Two minutes later Qie Xieling was being pushed out into the corridor in his underwear. Luo Muchen then shut the door before Qie Xieling could get his wits about him. He didn’t understand what just happened and was left speechless.

He knocked on the door while saying, "Luo Muchen, open the door. It wasn’t on purpose. I was drunk... I think," his voice drifting off. "At least give me my clothes. I can’t walk back like this." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

Luo Muchen who was about to ignore him heard that and his steps froze. If he let Qie Xieling walk back like that then wouldn’t everyone see his butt and perfect thighs? Wouldn’t it be like parading his assets around the warship.

Qie Xieling knocked again. "Come on open the door," he said trying to coax him. The door did open but he was hit with his skirt and top on the face before it shut.

He sighed and as he tried to put it on the door opened again and the skirt and top were taken away before a pair of comfortable pants and a t-shirt were thrown at him. Before he could say a word the door was shut again. "Thank you!" he said grinning like a fool.
