Chapter 373: Making out hehehe

Gulping nervously, Luo Muchen mustered the courage to push Qie Xieling off his lap. The sudden movement caused Qie Xieling to lose his balance, his arms instinctively reaching out to steady himself.

In that brief moment of vulnerability, he instinctively clung to Luo Muchen’s neck, their bodies entwining as they fell backwards. The impact of their fall sent a jolt of electricity through both of them, their hearts racing in sync.

As they lay there, tangled and breathless, the air grew thick with unspoken desires and uncharted territory. Qie Xieling’s eyes met Luo Muchen’s intense gaze, a silent question lingering between them. At that moment, their worlds collided, and the boundaries that once separated them began to blur.

For Qie Xieling this was a chance to finally lure Luo Muchen in. Luo Muchen told himself that this was to get what he wanted from Qie Xieling even if it came at the cost of his own conflicted emotions. But deep down he knew that he wanted something more than that.

The tension between them was palpable as the air crackled with electricity. It was a heady mix of alcohol, adrenaline, and pure desire. Luo Muchen reached out tentatively, brushing a stray strand of hair away from Qie Xieling’s face, his fingertips lingering on the soft skin of his cheek.

The simple gesture ignited something within both of them and before they could stop themselves, they were lost in each other, their bodies responding instinctively to the growing passion between them. Qie Xieling pulled him down and pressed his lips against Luo Muchen’s. This time Luo Muchen didn’t resist.

The kiss was sweet and tender, yet filled with a longing that threatened to consume them both. They surrendered to the moment, letting the world around them fall away. At that moment, all that mattered was the feeling of their lips on each other’s and following their carnal desires. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Luo Muchen couldn’t believe this was happening, his head spinning as his body responded to the sensations coursing through him. The feel of Qie Xieling’s lips against his, the taste of his tongue, the smell of his skin, the sound of his breathing—it was intoxicating. He was drowning in the intensity of the moment, losing himself in the pleasure of it all.

Qie Xieling moaned as Luo Muchen’s lips moved down his neck, the sensation sending a shiver through his body. This time the sound of Qie Xieling crying out in pleasure sent tremors in his heart.

His fingers curled into the fabric of Qie Xieling’s clothes, clutching onto him for dear life. Qie Xieling responded by grinding his hips against him, the friction driving them both wild. Luo Muchen’s hands slipped down to his bare thighs and caressed them his lips sucking on Qie Xieling’s neck.

They were both lost in the heat of the moment, their bodies moving together in perfect harmony. Luo Muchen was consumed by the feel of Qie Xieling’s bare skin against his, the delicious scent on his body, the sound of his breathing, and the taste of his lips. He was drowning in the intensity of their connection, and it felt like they could stay like that forever. Once his restraint was gone and he let himself sink into the feeling he realised how addictive Qie Xieling was. A taste was enough to get him obsessed with him.

But just as his passion was set alight it was immediately extinguished. That’s because Qie Xieling was snoring underneath him. He had fallen asleep. Luo Muchen looked on in disbelief, not knowing what to think or feel. He didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

"You started this fire yet you fell asleep in the middle of it," said Luo Muchen, looking down at the sleeping form of Qie Xieling in exasperation.

He sighed and shook his head, resigning himself to the reality of the situation. His gaze drifted over the perfect features of Qie Xieling’s face as the soft breeze tousled his hair. He reached out to brush a stray lock of hair away from his face, his fingertips tracing along the contours of his cheekbone.

After a while, he got up and carried Qie Xieling to the couch letting him sleep there. His gaze fell on the top he was wearing. He was reluctant but he still reached in and took out the box. Qie Xieling stirred in his sleep but it didn’t take him long to quiet down.

Having gotten what he wanted, Luo Muchen got up to leave. But after taking two steps he clenched his fist recalling that Qie Xieling was just wearing a skirt. He might freeze to death in his sleep. In his mind, he wondered why should he care but when he recalled the box in his hand and how they wouldn’t be able to open it without him he walked back and picked a throw blanket before covering him with it.

He turned to leave making sure to dim the lights after that and adjust the room temperature. After doing that he walked out his annoyance with himself written all over his face.

When he reached the armoury where they kept all the weapons he placed the box in front of a two-foot-tall man wearing a magnifying glass in one eye.

"Oh, captain. You finally came. I have been working on this prototype with ten times the damage caused by a cannon blaster. You shou-," said the man his excitement apparent on his face.

Luo Muchen cut him off and said, "Neoma, I am not here for that. I want to know more about this." He placed the box on the workbench and Neoma’s eyes widened.

"By the gods. This is a real treasure. Where did you find it?" asked Neoma as he reached out a trembling hand towards the box.

Luo Muchen who had taken it without permission, "..."

"Don’t care about where I found it. All I want to know is how to open it," he said and Neoma swallowed before gazing up at the captain.

He picked it up and placed it in a weird-looking machine scanning every inch of it. While the green lasers were moving over it, Neoma was looking at the data the computer was displaying on a hologram as he explained.

"This is one of two pieces of a legendary relic that was made by the last dwarfs of Svartalfheim... well at least that’s what the legend says. The earliest record of them was before the Zeden Coalition was formed. Last I heard one was passed down in the royal family from generation to generation and the other... no one knows where it is. Since the one for the royal family is in the palace then," he said his voice trailing off.
