But today, looking at those pictures on the menu, she could clearly feel her mouth watering non-stop.

"You try it, it’s really really delicious, better than what I usually eat."

Adam Jones was attracted by her savoring expression and indeed started to feel hungry, influenced by her.

He picked up his chopsticks, putting what was in the bowl into his mouth; the taste was good, but compared to the highly-paid chef they hired at home, it still lacked something. Why was his wife eating so deliciously?

"Yes, delicious, you should hurry and try it. If you don’t, I’ll eat it all."

Elly Campbell looked up and warned him with a glance, then resumed eating with her head down.

Adam Jones was amused by this, "Alright, if you like it, eat more."

After they finished the meal, Elly Campbell looked completely satisfied, having cleared all the spicy dishes in front of her, which left Adam Jones tongue-tied.

He didn’t know his wife’s appetite was this big.

Was it really that good?

Had his tastes become picky lately?

He honestly didn’t think it was that great.

However, seeing his wife eat so happily, just for this reason alone, Adam Jones was extremely satisfied with this restaurant.

"Are you full?"

"About seventy to eighty percent."

As soon as he mentioned the full name, Elly Campbell remembered, he was that highly-paid and hired scientist with a bit of a nerdy demeanor under Brayman.

He stayed in Alaska most of the time and rarely came to Boston, so they didn’t usually meet. Why was he suddenly mentioned?

Him having a girlfriend, what did this have to do with Adam bringing her to a jewelry store?

"You know, he’s a homebody and wants to propose to his girlfriend, and he needs your help in picking a ring that girls would like. So he can propose."

"I see."

Elly Campbell nodded, thinking about the nerdy homebody’s taste being so typically male that he might indeed pick a style that a girl wouldn’t like at all.

As his cousin’s wife, she had no problem helping out with this small task.

So, without any suspicion, she was led into the jewelry store by Adam Jones.
