Chapter 814: Chapter 814: The Enslaved

"HAHAHAHAAAA, YESS, WE’RE FREE,"

The shout of joy echoed in the golden space of the Leonine Heavenly Realm.

Far away from the Apex Pyramid, but not too far off, a large number of lions and other creatures had suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

The black crack that had appeared with the loud screech of reality began to fade away.

The sky was coloured with dots which represented the numerous creatures, immortals or not, that had been stuck here.

Looking around, there were lions, deer, scorpions, lizards, dogs, goats, rats, and many more races that had been stuck in the original Heaven with everyone else.

Since they were registered as vassals of the Lion Hegemony in the Vassal Records, Kael had included them in the plan. Besides, they were going to be. A very valuable force as they too had immortals among them.

Kael floated in the midst of it all, having transformed back to his humanoid form. He seemed to exist between two different planes at this point, making those who were close to him eternally curious about his existence.

Kael looked around, his ears were filled with the joyful roars of the lions, many of which had been pulled away from their battles.

Close to him were the immortals who had also been close by when the switch happened.

Most of them, including the vassals, were just looking around, appreciating the sight.

For many of them, this was the first time they would be seeing the golden skies of the Leonine Heaven with their own eyes.

All their lives, they had heard stories or seen it from the Observation Lake, never had they witnessed it with their own eyes until now.

This was where Noel had faced off that abomination three million years ago. This was where the lion had developed most of their civilization.

This was the sacred home and heaven of the lions.

And for this, the lions were grateful. If before they were only following Kael out of necessity and because of the benefits he came with, now they looked at him with reverence.

Only now did they truly acknowledge that name, King of Kings, for only he should be given the privilege and right to rule over other kings.

He had delivered his race back to their sacred world.

Having close to fifteen thousand lions feeling a wave of gratitude caused something strange to happen to Kael.

Something different.

Something...divine.

But it was little and Kael did not want to pay attention to it for now.

Speaking of attention, in the midst of the rejoicing lions from Original Heaven, there was a massive blob of water.

The observation lake.

This was what it existed as for now as it was being held together by the Primordial Jellyfish inside.

All these vassals did not belong to Leonine Heaven, Kael instantly wore a frown. He felt an itch, foreigners were in his house and he had no reason to tolerate it.

He looked to his left and saw Daniella and Anastasia looking at the sky. Only Anastasia had a smile on her face though, Daniella was looking quite distressed.

"Hey look, what’s wrong with those guys?" Shouted someone close to Kael.

Kael looked over and the smile on his face was instantly wiped away.

Before the breakout, Gabriel had done something to fifty-five immortal lions. Alas, they never got the chance to see what exactly had gone on with them.

Now, Kael knows.

"Hey, stop..."

*BAM!*

Commotion set in as a fight broke out. The fifty-five lions who had been infected with Gabriel’s Slave Essence had basically become his slaves.

"You shall not succeed!" Declared one of the lions who was originally a fire lion. Now, his body was a mix of grey and flames, a sign that he was now a slave to Gabriel.

He rushed at Kael, activating the flames around him and turning into a literal star.

"Humph!"

Four Supreme Level Immortal auras descended, easily extinguishing the star and revealing the writhing enslaved lion.

Kael was calm through all this, he checked and saved that although the Enslaved had caused a commotion and even killed some lions, nothing had changed.

They were quickly being suppressed brutally by the other lions. Unlike Gabriel, they were not seemingly unkillable.

"Hmm," Kael leaned forward, moving through space to approach the shivering Enslaved Lion.

They roared as they were slaughtered one by one by their comrades. The stench was in the air, all the kings could smell it.

These Enslaved Lions were no longer affiliated with the Law of Conquering.

The stench was not horrid, but it was uncomfortable, like an insult made manifest.

"Leave this one, kill the rest..." Kael’s telepathic message spread out like a command of fact.

He spoke as if he were stating what must happen.

The lions, although they could resist such requests, felt incredibly compelled to obey.

They continued slaughtering the remaining Enslaved Lions and soon, all traces of Slavery Essence would be flushed out of Leonine Heaven.

They would not allow anything to spoil their newfound freedom.

The last Enslaved was approached by Kael and Kael was closely followed by a few other lions.

The All-King, with a calm and detached expression, arrived in front of the Enslaved Lion and observed the latter closely.

The Enslaved Lion seemed to be suffering, trapped by the invisible power of the supremes.

His fur which had once been bright red and orange was now stained with a mix of grey skin and fur. His eyes were fully grey too and the stench of Slavery was especially prominent when Kael got close.

Kael got so close that only four meters of space existed between him and the three-meter-tall hovering Enslaved Fire Lion.

An entity that had once been majestic in his own right, a king, was now shaking terribly as though he had the worst cold.

There was something blasphemous about his existence, something so wrong that it evoked sympathy.

"P-please...kill me...All-King..." The Enslaved Fire Lion stuttered, managing to send that telepathic message with all the will he had left.

Kael did not react, he looked into the grey eyes of this lion and saw two wills fighting for control. The Fire Lion, and Gabriel.

Even now, the Fire Lion, a King, would rather die than continue this dishonourable existence as a mere slave.

He couldn’t kill himself, so...he begged for death.

*Sigh!*
