*Sigh!*

Kael sighed.

Looking at the fire lion that lived in its own world of agony, he could understand how it felt.

The Fire Lion was experiencing a higher level of pain whenever he tried to resist the power within him. Unfortunately, he was a lion and was constantly trying to resist this power. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

His own memories and experiences that he had accumulated in the past one million years caused him to resist without even trying.

Then this was added to the fact that he could not even control his body. He was seeing everything that was happening and living it as if it were him, but it wasn’t by his will that he attacked anyone.

It was the will of his master.

Among the many fates worse than death, this one would be ranked in the top ten. This was torture.

After Kael observed the shaking Fire Lion, he pointed a finger at the forehead and let out a stream of visible Conquering Essence.

The stream of Conquering Essence entered the body of the fire lion, but there was no effect.

"Hehehe..." A nasty grin appeared on the face of the fire lion as his grey eyes fully focused on Kael. Once again, this wasn’t his intention, it never was.

"You are doomed, All-King," The master of the Enslaved spoke through the fire lion.

"Stop this Gabriel, turn yourself over and we’ll give you a quick death," Kael said calmly.

But he knew that his threat was going nowhere. He was just saying it for the sake of formality.

"Sigh," The fire lion sighed with a very animated expression, "I do not want to coexist with you and the Kings, All-King.

And neither do you.

But it’s fine. You think I don’t know why you forced me out of Original Heaven? You’ve seen my potential! You’ve seen what I can accomplish with the Law of Slavery.

You deny me my materials.

But that is also fine."

Kael listened, stalling for time as he waited for something to happen.

"AAAARGH!" Suddenly, the fire lion screamed as his body began to shake horribly. His limbs snapped and his flesh shrank until his skin was wrapped around his bone which had gotten bigger.

The fire lion was changing...

"You..." The Fire Lion muttered in the midst of the violent transformation under the watch of everyone, "Have no idea..."

And then, his face crumbled, the fur falling off as his head also began to change into something grotesque.

Right before the eyes of the All-King and all who watched this scene, the head of the fire lion became less feral and feline in appearance and started to appear more human-like.

He still had his mane, some patches of fur in some areas, and his tail was very long too. But his head had transformed into that of a human.

The final appearance.

"...what I am capable of," The words were uttered from the very human-like lips of the Enslaved.

This was unsettling.

It was like looking at an idiot who was not only insulting everyone but also insulting himself.

This should not be possible under natural transformation, this human head. This was exactly how the Enslaved were supposed to look.

"I shall carve out my own world and establish my own lion race!

The Sphinx!"

Kael raised an eyebrow, ’Sphinx?’ he thought to himself.

The new form of the Enslaved Fire Lion indeed looked like a sphinx from Egyptian mythology from his past life.

A lion with a human head.

Quite disgusting.

However, Kael had seen enough. He had tried to locate Gabriel’s general direction but it seemed something or someone was blocking his way.

Not that he could not force his way through it, he actually ended up getting the information he needed, it just wasn’t clear.

But now Kael knew that some other forces were watching Gabriel. This was both good and bad.

Although Kael had successfully evolved to an immortal, he could not try to actually pinpoint the exact location of someone like Gabriel who was a Supreme Immortal.

He would leave that to Jordan and the rest.

"Okay," Kael said, ignoring the bloodstained face and disfigured jaws to look into the eyes of this newly transformed lesser Sphinx.

"For the first time in a long time, I am willing to show mercy..." Kael whispered into the mind of the Enslaved, easily bypassing the will of Gabriel to talk with the true owner of the body.

"Your Majesty..." The Fire Lion within struggled to say, even his soul which was as bright as a lighthouse was chained up and in constant agony.

"Please...make it quick..." The Fire Lion pleaded.

Through those grey eyes, Kael could see sadness and sorrow. He did not want to die. But being an Enslaved was way worse than death.

At least, in death, he could sleep peacefully, he could rest away from all this pain.

He wanted the All-King to show him that mercy.

*Shick!*

Kael’s hand suddenly blurred, slashing out and sending an invisible force blade that cut through the body of Enslaved.

The Enslaved was cut into two, a thin line drawn from the head to his hind.

And then, Kael’s arm moved again, and again, and again.

A thousand slashes in an instant, a thousand more to make sure.

The Enslaved Sphinx was utterly annihilated.

It was painless, his body would never be desecrated or dishonoured.

This was mercy.

Now that the last of the Enslaved was gone, everything almost returned back to normalcy.

Almost.

Kael turned around and saw that many lions were throwing glances at him, as if waiting for him to see something or give an order.

Kael could see that they were restless. It had been less than an hour since he broke them out of Original Heaven but they already wanted to throw themselves at the next activity.

Who could blame them?

"Make yourselves comfortable, this is your home," Kael said telepathically to all close by.

He waved his hand and out of his pocket space came millions of heavenly beacons.

They flooded out of the portal in a terrifying stream, filling the entire area with light and a noble vibe.

These kings had seen Heavenly Beacons but they did not have any.

It caught their eyes.

All these heavenly beacons came from the aftermath of the Lion Swarm Kael had used on Ibadon.

After that final attack, so many kings had died and because of how Kael had set things, all the heavenly beacons would retreat into the lion system itself.

Kael had always held on to them, at least, he wanted to control who became king and who didn’t.

Now, these lions from Original Heaven needed direction.

"King Azeus," Kael called out. A flash of deep orange lightning and Azeus appeared in front of Kael, wearing a genuinely bright smile.

He was in a good mood.

"All-King, how are you?" Azeus asked, his beard trembled with joy. He was finally free.

"Not bad, a bit down but I’m okay," Kael said. He played down the truth of the matter.

His Conquering Essence reserves were low and only enough to keep the lion’s system running.

But that was okay, Kael was expecting a vast stream of Conquering Essence anytime soon.

"I need you to help me handle something, do you mind?" Kael asked, still being respectful.

However, unlike before, his gaze lingered around Azeus’s golden eyes, as if he was not afraid of the consequences.

Azeus himself did not seem to notice though, even if he did, he was unlikely to act on his impulse, not after all that had happened.

"What is it All-King?" Azeus asked.

"Can you help sort out these heavenly beacons and make sure they go to the kings.

I want all of them spent and integrated by the end of the day. There are a lot of benefits to being Kings in my system and you guys should get on board as soon as possible."

Azeus nodded and immediately started doing that. Lightning surged from his body, shooting at anyone who tried to touch these heavenly beacons that had formed a large mass.

His senses spread wide, allowing him to easily cover every single heavenly beacon close to them.

"All-King," another voice called to Kael.

It was Jordan and he was flanked by Alexander and Phestus.

Phestus looked rather calm and collected, like he was just coming back from a very pleasant vacation.

Alexander on the other hand did not look too excited and Kael could guess why.

"Kael, what about the other lions, where are they?" Phestus asked.

"Some of them have gone down to the mortalverse to begin the charge against the bees.

Although their main goal is to capture planetary outposts and collect heavenly beacons from bees, in reality, they are waiting for us.

The rest of the lion..."

Kael looked at the system map of Original Heaven and saw that a lot of dots were making their way to this place already.

"... they should be here in a few minutes."

"They’ve already begun attacking the bees? Are they ready?" Jordan asked. Even if they got a few Heavenly Beacons from Hive Heaven, it wouldn’t be enough.

Kael shook his head, "Not yet," Then he looked at Phestus, "About that Crystallised Reality, it’s time."

To this, Phestus smiled, knowing that they were all going to be getting in deeper trouble very soon.
