Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 813: Are You Scared?
How exactly had this happened?
How exactly did Kael manage to not only leave Original Heaven, but also drag the whole Lion Race of Original Heaven with him?
He used the Freedom Formula, which was for sure.
But how?
Well, it was not exactly like Kael actually dragged them all out, it was better to say that he replaced their positions with something else.
The old switch.
From the very moment Kael had discovered the Freedom Formula, he had been working on this plan.
Back then, he did not tell anyone and only allowed one of his clones to leave Original Heaven.
This did not evoke any alarm or suspicion as Kael was still present in Original Heaven and the skies did not alert the other races that someone was trying to escape.
That very one had journeyed far away and opened a Heavenly Gate to the Leonine Heaven.
This happened in secret. None of the lions in Leonine Heaven knew that Kael’s clone had returned, and they continued to live their lives as if he were not there.
This was good as Kael did not want anyone to know.
He had devised a plan.
Pulling so many lions out of Original Heaven was not going to be easy at all. The amount of energy it would consume was enormous.
That was why Kael had to borrow most of this energy from the lions themselves. He alone could at most move a few hundred lions and all of them would be lowered and levelled.
But if he tapped into the powers they had, and supplemented it with his Conquering Essence reserves, it would definitely work.
But to ensure certain success, Kael had to do these things at the moment of his evolution and he had to mix in his newly gained ability.
The Alphaverse.
No one knew it but that hum that they kept on hearing, it was the sound of a baby universe trying to exist together with the Known Universe.
And the universe was fighting back obviously.
The very nature of the Alphaverse was linked to its creator. The All-King was tyrannical and dominating, so the Alphaverse would be tyrannical and dominating.
For now, the Alphaverse was still a fledgling, it didn’t have anything and when Kael brought it out, it wasn’t even visible to anyone.
Only the hum existed.
It still had a lot of room to grow.
That was if anyone would let it grow. It was inevitable that the existence of the Alphaverse had caught the attention of a few who did not take it likely.
But that was the All-King’s problem, what mattered was that the Alphaverse had been very crucial in this escape.
With his clone in Leonine Heaven, Kael switched positions.
He took all the lions in Original Heaven into his Alphaverse and simply switched places with his clone.
It was that simple, at least it sounded simple.
Him using that golden pillar of energy was his attempt to weaken the rules of Original Heaven and prevent a backlash.
But there had been an issue that Kael had to handle in the final moment.
Gabriel.
Although he had become something else, Kael could not leave him in Original Heaven.
A visible enemy was always better and Kael did not want to give Gabriel the chance to continue operating in a place where no one could or would be willing to reach him.
But at the same time, he didn’t want the Avatar of Slavery existing in the Leonine Heaven, not even for a single second.
Gabriel’s presence could throw the whole stability of Leonine Heaven into chaos.
Kael did not want that.
So Gabriel was ejected from the Alphaverse in the midst of the mass transportation.
It was a random ejection that prevented Gabriel from appearing in Leonine Heaven with everyone else.
As for killing him, that was also on Kael’s plate and he planned on doing it swiftly. Traitors should not be given the mercy of a single extra second, Kael thought to himself.
For now, making sure that Gabriel was within striking distance was all he could do. Even Jordan and Alexander combined could not do anything to him.
There is also another thing to consider in all these things that have just happened.
Kael had simply drawn the lions and their vassals into the Alphaverse and switched places with a clone.
If it was indeed a switch, that meant that in place of the Primordial Lion and all those immortals and vassals, the clone should be in Original Heaven right now.
////
Original Heaven.
The sky was bright, it hardly ever darkened.
Although, there was something off-putting about this place today. It felt like one was standing inside the body of a vexed giant.
A humanoid figure casually strolled through the ruins that had once been the area surrounding the Observation Lake.
Tall and muscular with blonde hair, same coloured beard, and beautiful golden eyes. It was Kael.
Or rather, Kael’s clone.
Kael’s clone casually looked around,. observing the damage with a curious gaze. He had his hands in his pockets as he walked, bathing in the warm glow of the bright sky.
"Not bad..." Kael said as he looked around with satisfaction.
*WHOOSH!*
"Wait! I see someone!" Someone shouted from afar.
Kael smiled, then turned to face the direction the voice was coming from.
As soon as he turned around, another humanoid figure came to a stop in front of him, kicking up dust and creating a harsh gust of wind.
"All-King?" Said the blue-haired man that floated in front of Kael.
"That’s me," Kael said, the smile on his face getting wider as he checked the blue-haired man’s face.
"You must be the Patriarch of the House of Luthor, right?" Kael asked.
The Luthor Patriarch frowned, feeling that things may be worse than he thought.
He had no idea why the All-King was all alone in the territory of the lions.
Behind him, the various supreme-level immortals of the other feline races arrived.
Fourteen in total, plus the Luthor Patriarch, that would make them fifteen.
All of them had come to the border of the lion’s territory but had not seen anyone so they made the daring decision of exploring further into the territory.
To their dismay and confusion, no lions or lionesses could be found. Everywhere was empty.
How could this have happened?
And then, out of nowhere, they spotted this All-King casually strolling about as if he didn’t have a care in the world.
"Where is everyone else?" The Luthor Patriarch asked with an ugly scowl.
"Everyone else?" Kael tilted his head, "Well, you guys are boldly talking to me here when on a normal day, you would be running for your lives.
Didn’t that tell you that they are not here?"
Kael stated the obvious?
Where are they? They are not here obviously.
"No," The Luthor Patriarch leaned closer to Kael in a threatening manner, "I mean, where have they all gone to?
Why are you the only one here?
I was with Azeus a few minutes ago and now he is gone.
What happened?"
"Oh, that?" Kael shrugged his shoulders, "They are outside," He said.
"..."
"..."
The atmosphere instantly became solemn and the Luthor Patriarch looked like he had just swallowed a fly.
"What do you mean by ’outside’?" Asked the Jaguar representative behind the Luthor Patriarch.
Kael looked at him, still wearing that smile of his, "Outside Original Heaven..."
Kael had just completed his words when a large hand wrapped around his neck and lifted him up, all happening in the blink of an eye.
The one who had moved was a Supreme Level Immortal from the tiger race, a female.
She had bright red hair and eyes and was very tall, easily holding Kael by his neck a few inches above the ground. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
Kael still continued smiling. He did not struggle or remove his hands from his pocket. He acted cool.
"Speak the truth!" The tiger supreme demanded through her gritted teeth.
The Luthor Patriarch just stared at this, wearing a dark expression that was becoming worse the more he thought about it.
"Why would I lie to you?" Kael asked, his golden eyes flashing as he memorized the face of this tiger woman, "However, I have to say, you have made a very big mistake..."
Hearing this, the tiger woman brandished her claws in her other hand and prepared to rip Kael’s face off.
"Enough," The Luthor Patriarch said, causing the tiger woman to reluctantly put her claws away, but she still held Kael by the neck.
"What happened?" He asked, his voice was on edge.
Kael chuckled, "What? Are you that scared that you don’t even want to accept the reality of such a thing?
They are gone!" Kael laughed while he made sure to memorize the faces of all of them. He paused at the face of the two cheetah men.
Kael then looked straight into the eyes of the Luthor Patriarch.
"If Seth could do it, why wouldn’t I be able to do it too?" Kael said vaguely. And that was when the Luthor Patriarch realised that it had truly happened.
They had escaped, and no one had been present to stop them because there were no alarms.
"Then why are you here?" He asked.
"Who said I am? Hehehe.
Oh, my. You guys have really provoked someone you shouldn’t have. I mean, look at your faces...
You’re scared!
Hahaha!"
It was rare for Kael to enjoy a moment of laughter like this so he enjoyed it to the fullest, finding joy in the pissed expressions of these feline enemies of his.
Suddenly, Kael stopped laughing and looked at the tiger woman with a cold face.
"There can only be one feline in my universe..." Kael whispered.
"Kill him!" The Luthor Patriarch shouted, unable to take it any longer.
The tiger woman flexed her fingers, crushing the neck bones and pulverising Kael’s shoulders and lower jaw with the clench of her fist.
The body of the clone crumbled to the ground before it started dissipating into moats of golden light.
Staring at this, the Luthor Patriarch’s eyes flared with rage.
"What the fuck!..."
