Chapter 809: Chapter 809: No More Lions In Original Heaven

Not every creature that existed in this No Name universe had come about naturally.

As it had been noticed time and time again, not everything was as it appeared to be.

The only constant in the universe was change, everything else was dependent on how change worked.

In some parts of the universe, the inhabitants may know the Destruction Dragons as the only type of dragons to exist.

Meanwhile, in another part of the universe, only the Creation Dragons were known to represent the entire race.

Only those deeply tied to the cosmic affairs of these factions knew that the wormy lizards and winged lizards were two halves of the same coin, or in this case, the same dragon.

There were a few other races like this with a few even having more than two.

But those races were naturally occurring and they had been like that after the sacrifices of their first Primordials.

There were so many unnatural races, creatures that spawned without the will of the universe guiding them.

Humans, in a sense, could be considered a race of their own. They were technically just other creatures that had Devolution Seeds inside them, trapping them in humanoid bodies.

But the fact that the humans did not respond to all laws and were incapable of creating their own superpower system unless the Devolution Seeds were removed said a lot.

The universe just did not consider them as anything but an unnatural race occurrence. This allowed a strange loophole that let humans exceed the one trillion population mark without any backlash.

That was just the humans.

The Phoenixes were also an unnatural bird race with a strange and inefficient reproduction method and a half-baked affinity for fire.

The existence of humans and the Phoenixes meant that anything was theoretically possible in this reality. All rules could be broken as long as the right loophole was found.

And if those things were possible, it also meant that something like the Creation and Destruction Dragons had the possibility of being created artificially.

Any race could start out as one, officially with just one law. But what if there was an accident? A mistake? Or an intentional cosmic fuck up.

Not only was it possible, but it was also happening right now.

Just as the dragons had two different species but were essentially the same race, the lions were about to have the same thing.

It wasn’t imagination, it wasn’t an idea, it wasn’t some theory.

It was happening right before their eyes.

To resist the power of the Reversed Conquering Essence, Gabriel the Betrayer was forced to complete his transformation.

He became and embraced the Law of Slavery in its entirety, and in return, the Law chose to protect him and change him.

Grey!

All Daniella, Anastasia, and the rest of the lions saw was grey.

A massive mass of grey flesh and tendrils growing out of the world creating its own gravitational field and taking on a feline form.

No fur at all, just a writhing mass of grey rough skin to cover the flesh. The grey tendrils danced around his neck, elongating and whipping at the ground.

Gabriel kept growing and growing, his eyeballs grew back in the eye sockets and his face was a mirror of the pain he was feeling.

He and he alone was directly tearing out a new page in the legacy of the lions.

"HERESY!" Alexander bellowed from where he was.

He and everyone had also received that message.

What did the system mean by a new lion species? Was that alright? Did that even sound correct?

There could only be one lion race, there could only be one lineage of kings.

Alexander roared and charged at the rising mass of grey flesh that was Gabriel.

Previously, he had been swatted away like a fly because his powers no longer worked on Gabriel.

This was the weakness of the Anti-Lions though. They were so scary to the other lions but when it came to other creatures that were not subscribed to the rules of the lion race, they were pretty much powerless.

Their anti-lion powers only worked on lions. If only there were a way to make it so that it worked on all creatures, not just lions...

Anyways, Alexander clashed with Gabriel’s side, flying straight through the left side and out the right side.

It was so easy...

Alexander stopped after flying for some time with confusion on his face.

He felt no resistance at all.

He turned around only to see a bunch of tendrils with sharp tips aimed at him.

[Kael: Alexander, don’t let those tendrils impale you.]

Kael warned.

Alexander immediately moved away.

Time was already going by anyway. All he had to do was lock in the position of all the lions linked to the lion system and use them as nodes to power the breakout.

Kael couldn’t possibly carry the weight of moving so many immortals at once. He would need their help.

Back at the scene. Jordan was floating in the sky, he looked troubled.

Gabriel was no longer like anything they had ever faced.

It was hard to imagine that this was what the Avatar of Slavery was to look like.

Still, Kael had warned them not to get close to Gabriel at all.

Both he and Alexander were smart and could make a guess as to what Kael had sensed or was trying to avoid.

Gabriel was the Avatar of Slavery, anyone with a brain should easily be able to guess the true nature of his powers.

None of them wanted to be enslaved. But they also didn’t want to let Gabriel go so easily. How could they, two supreme immortals, not be able to fight this abomination?

Gabriel was a growing threat that just kept on getting bigger by the second. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

"You all must come with me! You must see things from my perspective!" Gabriel said.

His voice had changed drastically. Now sounding like the deep shrill cry of an otherworldly banshee.

His tendrils suddenly lashed out at the other Immortals that were far away and closer to Kael.

These immortals were way slower than Jordan and Alexander and they obviously couldn’t just dodge the attacks of a Supreme Immortal.

Fifty-five of them were pierced by the tendrils before they could react, roaring in pain as Slave Essence was being pumped into their bodies.

Meanwhile, Kael was seeing on his lion system that Gabriel was no longer a user. He had forced himself out after that transformation.

And now, as he injected slave essence into those unwilling lions, they too were being forced out of the lion system.

Standing under the how of the All-King.

Anastasia and Daniella watched as those lions who had been pierced by the tendrils roared and collapsed to the ground, forming craters as they rolled and cried.

Right before their eyes, their fur started falling off. And even the blue skin of a certain Water Lion started peeling off too.

Their eyes rolled over, turning into a sickly shade of white and their powers started to appear more corrupted.

The fires began to develop a grey base, the green vines started having grey dust, and the War Lions had deep black veins crawling on their skins.

They roared in agony,.wishing hoping that someone, anyone would end their misery or save them.

They could feel their wills being eroded and replaced by an overwhelming desire to obey.

Their very own wills were just decaying, they were losing themselves. Most importantly, they were losing their desire to conquer.

"..." Alexander watched with his mouth open, unsure if he should let this continue so that they could all learn or if he should intervene.

No words in the vocabulary of the lions could correctly describe the level of heresy they were witnessing.

This was blasphemy upon the lineage of kings.

Jordan was already dashing over. Even though he didn’t know how he was to handle this, he still rushed over.

Gabriel was way too close to Kael.

Whether what was going to happen would have happened or now didn’t matter anymore because at this very moment...

[Time until Heavenly Breakout: 10 seconds...]

Time was up.

All the lions all over Original Heaven wherever they were felt the pull and the tug. They felt a little bit of their powers being leeched away as the golden cracks in the sky expanded and covered a vast region.

The golden cracks spread out, forming a net of titanic proportions. The Observation Lake was overtaken by a sudden wave of power.

Even the newly added Vassals in Original Heaven felt it too, they were not going to be left behind.

And then...

"..."

"..."

"..."

Everywhere went quiet.

The golden pillar of energy disappeared.

Anastasia and Daniella disappeared.

Jordan and Alexander disappeared.

All the immortal lions that had been floating around disappeared.

The entire Observation Lake disappeared.

Kael was gone.

Gabriel had vanished.

An invisible wave of Freedom Essence manifesting in the form of an aura spread from the sky and from the ground, enveloping and ejecting all those who had previously been marked for the breakout.

It was done.

After tens of millions of years, the Immortal Lions of the Original Heaven were finally out.
