They should also cultivate their relationship especially since they had been apart for a while.

. . .

The following day, Arabella woke up at the sound of the birds’ dawn chorus. She was exhausted by her husband last night so she slept so soundly.

"Eh? Where’s Ferdinand?"

Arabella was surprised to find the space beside her empty. When Ferdinand sleeps in her room, he usually waits for her to wake before leaving. Or he tells her at night if he would leave before she wakes up.

But this time, he was gone. And the space beside her was empty.

She touched it and it was cold. He had left for a while.

’Did something happen? Or did he simply go and train with his knights?’

Arabella assumed it was the latter. She could still feel his presence close by so he was within the Imperial Palace grounds.

She got up and picked up a coat before heading to the mirror. She needed to prepare early since after breakfast, she would introduce Blanca to her maids.

With the assistance of her maids, Arabella then had her usual morning preparations with her maids assisting her.

After Arabella’s morning preparations were done, she headed to the dining hall and found Ferdinand waiting for her there. He instantly rose and went to meet her when he saw her walk in.

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" Ferdinand held her hand and kissed her forehead.

[Kyaah!!! Here comes the sweetness attack from them. Is it time for me to find a lover?]

[I think, I want to get married too.]

Carla and Irene were getting wilder with their thoughts each day as if they were not yet used to seeing Arabella and Ferdinand be affectionate after seeing it quite often when they were in Medeus.

Carla and Irene were both single since they knew their marriage would likely be arranged by their families anyway since they were also of noble birth.

However, after watching Arabella and Ferdinand get affectionate so many times these past months, they were beginning to wonder if they should be in a relationship too.

"Good morning. Yes, I slept well," Arabella smiled at her husband. She wanted to ask why he was not in bed early but it would make it too obvious to everyone that they slept together again last night.

If they hear it, they would further look forward to her getting pregnant.

"I see. That’s good," Ferdinand beamed at her. He looked so refreshed even though he likely had just a few hours of sleep last night.

Meanwhile, Arabella still wanted more sleep since they slept past midnight and she woke up at five.

Sometimes it was unfair how Ferdinand could still be so energetic even though he was usually the one who did most of the moving when they did the deed.

He was almost brimming with light at how he was smiling at her so brightly. He would be enough sunlight for her today at this rate.

"I’m sorry, I left without waiting for you to wake up. I went to check on the knights’ training and began preparing gifts for our visit," Ferdinand said without a care in the world who was listening to them.

[They slept together again?!!!]

Those who heard them were blushing but her husband was clueless at what his words did.

Even Arabella could feel the heat on her ears but she pretended to be calm. It would be even more embarrassing if she chided him about it since he was so innocent that he just revealed they had another night together.

"It’s alright. So, were you able to choose a gift?" Arabella changed the topic instead as they walked to the table.

"I discussed it with Raymond and Alwin but they were not sure either. We only picked what Raymond said were courtesy gifts when visiting another kingdom. For your older brother and the rest of your siblings, you would choose them with me, right?"

Ferdinand pulled out a chair for her and waited for her to be seated before sitting beside her.

"Oh, right. I did promise that last night. I will help you choose later," Arabella agreed. It was supposed to be just the gift for Benjamin though.

Ferdinand added all her siblings to it because he wanted to get to their good side probably after recommendations from Raymond that it would be better to try to be on all her siblings’ good side while they were still young.

Benjamin was the first child and the first son so he was the crown prince in Lobelius.

Meanwhile, Arabella was the first princess so she also had a lot of responsibilities. Their younger siblings had it much lighter but they were also very busy even when they were still young.

Now that Arabella was married and Benjamin would likely get married and crowned soon, their responsibilities were passed on to their younger siblings.

Their younger brother following Arabella would likely succeed in Benjamin’s tasks once he was crowned or probably already begun.

Meanwhile, one of their younger sisters should have gone to the Yearly Assembly in Medeus to succeed in Arabella’s tasks in the past but probably did not since Benjamin already went.

All of them could not travel together, especially with the assassination attempts before Arabella’s wedding to Ferdinand.

. . .

After their early breakfast, it was time to officially introduce Blanca so Arabella and Ferdinand headed to one of the halls where they had agreed to meet up for the announcement.

Alwin teleported there with Blanca once Arabella and Ferdinand were done eating.

Alwin had to pretend like a supportive fiance since he was the one who "recommended" Blanca as per the story they would tell everyone.

When Arabella and Ferdinand arrived, everyone was already gathered there. They all bowed and greeted them.

"Be at ease," Ferdinand said and all of them obeyed.

It was then Arabella’s turn.

"Good morning, everyone. I believe you already know why we are gathered here today..."

Arabella gave a short speech before introducing Blanca.

"I hereby, introduce Lady Blanca to you as one of my maids from today onwards..."
