Omega's Rebirth

Xenon pulled away, somewhere in the back of his mind he recalled Neveah would need to breathe, yet his lips did not cease their ministrations.

Xenon pulled on the strings of Neveah’s cloak, letting them fall away so the tender skin of her neck was on display, glistening in the moonlight and Xenon needed no invitation to do the tasting.

Neveah’s shuddering breaths only enticed Xenon all the more and he wanted more than anything to hear more of those quiet sighs of delight.

A quiet gasp escaped Neveah as Xenon’s tongue flicked out to run along the side of her neck.

The taste of her skin... Xenon felt his mind spin, the darkness had nothing on the madness Neveah was stirring within him.

It was only that unlike the madness that terrified him, this was a madness Xenon actually craved.

Xenon dipped his head down, his lips teasing every inch of Neveah’s neck till he found that sensitive spot that had her shivering in his arms.

A low moan escaped Neveah, Xenon had never heard a more pleasant sound... but what he wanted to hear all the more was Neveah’s affirmation, that she was his.

Though Neveah’s reaction to him, her heated breaths and the way she gave in completely told Xenon all he needed to know.

He was not the only one who was spiralling into the madness of desire.

"Say...it...a... again..." Xenon dared again, his voice muffled as he left soft, teasing kisses along the length of Neveah’s neck.

Xenon wanted to hear it..if Neveah dared reject what they both knew to be true.

Meanwhile, Neveah’s mind was a complete mess and she struggled to regain her focus but with Xenon’s kisses, focus only slipped further away from her.

She could hardly think of anything beyond their shared breaths...it was maddening, sinfully so.

’Say what again?’ Neveah pondered over the words Xenon had just said.

Neveah would not say it herself, so Xenon did. As difficult as it was to form the words, these were words Xenon had said over and over again in his heart...

He had said it enough times that the words came much easier to him.

"I will h..have you k.know it n.now, you...are...mine...!" Xenon declared right against Neveah’s ears, his tone deep and possessive.

It took a moment before the words settled and as Xenon’s words sunk in, Neveah recalled the conversation they had been having before all of this.

Neveah’s mind recalled she had heard these same words once before and a memory surfaced to her mind...

"You have no idea... for how long I have desired you Omega. Who would think, that you were mine all along?" Alessio continued, this time, his right hand darted forwards and encircled Neveah’s waist before she could even react.

Alessio pulled Neveah closer to himself, so she was engulfed with his scent as his left hand lifted up to trail a finger down the side of Neveah’s cheek.

Electrifying jolts surged through Neveah’s veins, the jolts were strong at all the points Alessio’s skin touched Neveah’s and had Neveah not hardened her heart and will, she perhaps would still be weak to the mate bond.

But the Neveah who had awakened in this lifetime was no longer the Neveah from the previous lifetime and the Neveah from half a year ago was no longer the same Neveah as the one who stood there at this moment.

And so, even with the recognition that Alessio was her mate, the tug of the mate bond on Neveah’s end was already numb and Neveah did not feel the slightest bit moved.

Neveah only felt a sense of Deja Vu as Alessio repeated the very same words he had said in the previous lifetime, words that admitted he had always seen Neveah as more than a sister he detested.

Neveah had not understood it then, and even now, she still did not understand clearly why the person who had made her life a living hell right from childhood could dare to claim he desired her. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

But then again... desire was just that...lust. A need to possess Neveah not for the tenderness of the heart but for his lustful urges.

"I know you can feel it just as I do, Omega. You have been a human yet lived amongst us long enough to understand what it means...do not feign ignorance of what you are to me." Alessio said in a low tone,

His tone was barely audible as he dipped his head down to Neveah’s shoulder and breathed in her scent deeply, his eyes returned to settle on Neveah’s with a glow in them.

"But if you do not know it... I will let you know it now that you are mine!" Alessio declared in a tone thick with possesion.

’I will have you know it now...that you are mine!’ Xenon had said and the words rang in Neveah’s head over and over again.

Once as Xenon’s voice and then the next as Alessio’s before the process was repeated again till those words echoed deafeningly in Neveah’s mind.

As though a bucket of icy water had been dumped over Neveah, her senses returned to her in that instant.

"Stop." Neveah protested weakly as she tried pushing Xenon away.

The reality of what she had let happen came crashing down heavily on Neveah and she felt a rising panic that clogged her airways, making it difficult for her to breathe.

Neveah struggled against Xenon’s hold whilst gasping for breath.

The mate bond reared it’s ugly head, pulsing painfully in Neveah’s mind. Xenon’s touch now felt like searing burns,

And all Neveah wanted to do was to get away to safety where she could fix herself and the maddening terror engraved within her.

As much as Neveah would have liked to belief Alessio held no power over her, she knew he had left a lasting effect that she would never truly be rid off.

The mate bond was one and another was terror...
