Zombie Apocalypse: Creation-Chapter 810: Pregnancy Complications
Nighttime settled quietly over the bedroom. Xiaoyun was sleeping soundly—until a persistent shaking pulled him out of his dream.
"Wake up, honey."
"Mm...?"
Slowly, he opened his eyes. Leyan was gripping his arm. Her face looked calm, but what she said next snapped him awake.
"Tianci's water is breaking."
In an instant, Xiaoyun was out of bed and down the stairs. He was running through the hallway into Tianci's bedroom.
"Xiaoyun! I-I—"
"Don't worry, I'm here now. Just relax and take a deep breath. I'm going to bring you to the hospital safely."
He gently lifted Tianci into his arms and carried her out, with Leyan hurrying after them as they headed into the garage.
"I'm coming with you guys."

In the hospital corridor.
"Xiaoyun, stop walking back and forth. You need to sit and calm down." Yuqi whispered from the bench.
"How can I calm down? They had been in there for almost three hours now, and I haven't seen her at all."
He glanced to the left—the emergency room. This wasn't how it was supposed to go. They should have been in a delivery room.
It all started during the drive to the hospital.
Leyan noticed it first—fluid was soaking through far more than expected. But that wasn't what made her face pale.
It was Tianci's reaction.
"It doesn't hurt that much..."
No real contractions. No urgency in Tianci's voice. It was nothing like what Leyan had experienced and seen in the past.
By the time they reached the hospital, Doctors rushed Tianci away for examination. A moment later, she was being wheeled into the emergency room.
"Darling, you have to trust the Mom and the doctors... Did you already forget? Our pregnancy took almost half a day."
After a short moment, Xiaoyun finally took a seat. But his legs kept on shaking, with his hand feeling out of place.
"Xiaoyun! Yuqi! Is everything fine?"
As Yueyue and the rest of his wives arrive at the hospital, they could see the nervousness on their husband's face.
"Everything is fine. It's just a small complication—"
Before Yuqi could finish answering, the emergency room's door opened. It was Leyan in an undersized nurse uniform.
"Xiaoyun, come inside. Tianci needs you."
The door was instantly slammed shut as the two of them headed inside, leaving the rest of his wives outside.
"Yuqi, what kind of small complication requires the emergency room?" Nami curiously asked.
"I... I actually don't know. I just got here like an hour ago."
As Nami and Lily took a seat, everyone could only stand and watch as the red light from the emergency room reflected off the tile floors.

"Mrs.Leyan, this is a serious matter. You cannot tell us to leave the room when a patient is lying here."
Three of the doctors and two nurses were standing in the room, their faces full of disbelief at Leyan's sudden request.
"This is the only way. I don't need you to tell me what to do. I had delivered more babies than any of you combined."
Seeing the doctors still refusing to move, Leyan threw in her trump card.
"Xiaoyun, I need you to tell them to leave right now. Or else Tianci is going to be in trouble soon."
"What?"
Xiaoyun stood in place in a surgical gown. His mind couldn't wrap around Leyan's request to send the doctors out.
"Quick, we can't waste any more time. The baby is going to suffocate if we literally wait any longer!"
"Mrs.Chen, stop it, you're crazy. Governor, you have to listen to us, she's—"
"As the governor, I order the three of you to step out, now. I don't want to repeat myself."
All three of the doctors still hesitated, but after seeing his hand reaching towards his back, they all immediately turned around.
"You guys won't be responsible."
The doctors speedwalked out of the emergency room as if they were just waiting for that line from him.
"Leyan, what the hell is happening? Why did you make me tell the doctors to leave?" Xiaoyun questioned.
"You three, go inside the changing area. Don't come in until I tell you so." Leyan ordered as she ignored him.
"Yes, ma'am."
With the nurses staying in the changing area, Leyan finally turned around and brought Xiaoyun into the actual emergency room.
"Tianci!"
"Xiaoyun?"
To his surprise, Tianci looked perfectly fine. She was just sitting there, with her legs spread out and covered by a small curtain.
"Leyan, do you mind explaining to me now?"
"We don't have time for this. Tianci has to give birth today. All you have to know is I need you to bring out the other Tianci out."
"Um, okay."
Xiaoyun quickly walked up to the bed, grabbing Tianci by the arm as he closed his eyes. A few seconds later, Tianci's pupil had turned fully red.
"Leyan, I can't help you with this. I can't shift any of my body parts right now. Why did you bother having me out?"
"Xiaoyun, you see all these broken knives? All these broken tools?" Leyan questioned as she ignored the alternate Tianci's question.
"Yeah. What happened to them?"
"We tried every method. We tried giving Tianci Pitocin, but no contraction. We tried C-section, but look at those knives, and you tell me."
"What do you need me to do?"
"I need you to widen her vagina manually. Pull it apart and make her feel a sense of contraction."
"Huh?"
"Quick. The longer we wait, the more dangerous it will be for the baby. Tianci's water had already broken too much."
"Okay, okay."
As Xiaoyun peeked inside the curtain, he was a little shocked. Tianci's entrance had retracted all the way to the beginning.
It was only wide enough for a finger to be stuck inside, sharply contrasting to all the work they had done together.
"Leyan, are you sure you want me to 'pull' it apart?" Xiaoyun questioned, his mind starting to feel sketched out by the idea.
Seeing her nod, Xiaoyun slowly inserted his finger into Tianci's vagina, fitting the tip as he began stretching it apart.
"Ow-ow-ow! S-Stop!"
"Keep your mouth shut unless you want me to go get a chainsaw and run it through your belly right now."
The sudden threat from Leyan made Tianci shut her mouth, but the immense pain soon overshadowed it.
"Ouch! It hurts! Stop! Please Xiaoyun! I'm begging you!"
"Leyan, I really don't think—"
"Tianci has the potential to die if this baby doesn't come out of her. It is not me trying to save the baby at this point."
Xiaoyun thought about it for a second. In the end, he held his finger steady as he continued to stretch it aside.
"Sorry. I can't stop... Just endure this for a bit longer."
"You fucking bitch——Fuck! It hurts!——Stop! Ow!"
As the alternate Tianci's insult echoed in the emergency room, Leyan kept on adding fuel to the flame.
"You can yell at me all you want. But you're the one who ignores my lessons, thinking you can just weasel your way out of labor."
"I-I'm sorry——Owww!"
"If you just took it seriously for once, none of this would have been an issue... Tell me, do you feel the urge to poop or anything?"
"I——Ouch!"
Seeing Tianci incapable of speaking, Leyan moved right next to Xiaoyun as she began grabbing one of the tools from the table.
"Stop, that's enough. Just hold it in position... Tianci, do you feel anything? Urge to push something out?"
"I-I don't know. W-Wait, I-I feel something."
As a rush of fluid shot straight out of Tianci's vagina once again, Leyan immediately started yelling towards the changing area.
"The two of you, come in quick! Xiaoyun, don't let your finger go. Hold it steady and keep it up."
Soon, both of the nurses came back, standing on the side as Leyan's hand began to insert a mysterious-looking tool into Tianci's body.
"Tianci, push. Keep pushing it. Nobody can deliver the baby without your help. You have to do this yourself."
"I'm trying!"
Watching Tianci's muscles begin to tighten as she bit her lip in pain, Leyan pulled the tool back out with a sigh of relief.
"Don't stop until I say so. Slow and steady, you can take a breath now... Don't try to rush it, just keep it steady."
"I'm trying!"
"Leyan, my finger is getting a little tired."
Xiaoyun whispered. The veins on his muscles were popping out as Tianci's pelvic muscle kept clamping down like a hydraulic press.
"If you want your wife not to see the light of day, go for it."
"Shit, that's all you had to say."

"What are you two looking at? Wipe the sweat off his face. We don't want it to drop down to the patient." Leyan ordered.
"Yes, ma'am!"
Just as the nurses grabbed a towel to wipe the sweat off his forehead, Tianci's pupil suddenly started changing color.
