Young Master Vance Has An Enchanting Wife!-Chapter 248: You Are the Most Scumbag Man I’ve Ever Met
"If you’ve got the guts, call the police. Let’s see who has more clout. I don’t want to mess with you. If things get serious, I can throw you in jail at any moment, don’t you think?"
Victor Grant wasn’t boasting. After years of roaming in Silverwood City, it’s just that he hasn’t wanted to use his family’s connections. If he really relied on his father’s power, even Arthur Vance would have to treat him with some caution.
Vincent Vance didn’t want to confront Victor directly, so he turned and instructed the guard inside, "Since Mr. Grant is here, invite him in for a cup of coffee."
Upon hearing this, the guard dared to press the button and fully opened the gate. As Victor Grant went inside, he deliberately signaled for his ten-plus brothers to follow him in.
Vincent frowned as he looked at Victor’s group of rough subordinates and stopped him with displeasure, "My sister is at my house, and she’s pregnant. I’m afraid your brothers might disturb her."
Hearing that Vincent’s sister, Maxwell Vance, was also there, Victor was even more determined to have his brothers meet that vicious woman.
Damn it, she’s dared to poison a pregnant woman, and she’s pregnant herself? If he doesn’t make her miscarry today, he’ll change his last name from Grant.
Fueled by a desire for revenge for May Morgan, Victor deliberately pulled a stern face and retorted to Vincent, "What do you mean? Do you look down on my men? Let me tell you, these men are my brothers who’ve been through life and death with me. If you look down on them, you’re looking down on me, Victor Grant."
Vincent shook his head helplessly and tried to reason with Victor again, "I don’t look down on your brothers, but my sister’s in an unstable condition right now, and too many people might scare her. So, I hope your brothers can wait outside for a bit."
"If she’s scared, then let her get the hell out of here, spare me the eyesore!" Victor suddenly shouted at Vincent in anger.
Vincent’s face changed, and he angrily questioned Victor, "What do you mean?"
"What do I mean? Vincent, I really couldn’t tell that you’re such a scoundrel wearing a suit. Why did May Morgan miscarry? Don’t you have a clue? You keep talking about your sister being pregnant and scared, but why the hell can’t you care about your wife?"
Victor’s words left Vincent’s face a bit embarrassed, and most of the anger on Vincent’s face quickly dissipated, "It’s just a misunderstanding."
"Misunderstanding, my ass! I’ve never seen such a poisonous woman. You protect this kind of trash, she’s destined to be barren, and even if she has kids, they’ll be born without an a-hole!" Victor’s temper exploded as he shoved Vincent aside and brazenly headed toward Zenith Villa.
Despite Victor’s insults, Vincent knew he deserved it. However, seeing Victor’s posture, he didn’t seem like he was just here to pick up May Morgan, more like he wanted to avenge her first.
In the midst of speaking, Victor had already pushed open the door and entered the living room. His eyes immediately fell on Maxwell, clutching Brianna White’s arm, trembling as she watched him. He grinned, and swiftly grabbed Maxwell’s arm.
Maxwell was the type afraid of strength, and upon seeing Victor, she was scared stiff. She screamed, hastily calling Vincent to save her.
"Brother, brother, save me, save me!" At this moment, in Maxwell’s eyes, Victor was a ferocious beast capable of devouring people, and apart from Vincent, no one else could stop him.
Vincent opened the door and saw Victor gripping Maxwell’s arm, about to use violence, and he rushed over, grabbing Victor’s hand, "Victor Grant, what are you doing?"
"What do you think I’m doing?" Victor chuckled coldly, his grip on Maxwell’s arm not only didn’t loosen but tightened, causing Maxwell’s face to change with pain.
Vincent feared Victor might really hurt Maxwell, so he swung a punch at Victor, aiming to knock him aside. Victor dodged Vincent’s punch and harshly shoved Maxwell with his hand.
Maxwell couldn’t hold her footing and tumbled onto the floor, sprawled out.
"Ah, my stomach, my stomach hurts so much..." Maxwell lay on the floor, it was unclear if she was really in pain or just faking it, suddenly clutching her stomach and moaning in agony.
Seeing this, Vincent didn’t bother with Victor anymore and hurriedly called a servant to help Maxwell up and check her condition.
After being helped up, Maxwell kept clutching her stomach and crying out in pain. Vincent feared she had injured the child in her belly, so he quickly instructed the servants to take Maxwell to the hospital for a check-up. Brianna White watched the situation unfold and, terrified of being targeted and beaten by Victor, volunteered to assist Maxwell in leaving.
But Victor’s eyes were sharp. As Brianna walked past him, he immediately caught the scent of a vixen.
"Hold on, don’t leave yet." Victor grabbed the low-headed Brianna into his grasp without a word and threw her to the ground.
Her delicate frame couldn’t withstand Victor’s rough handling, and she instantly resembled a forlorn leaf, looking pitiful.
Vincent, not caring for Brianna, just glanced at her and then instructed Jacob Jennings to help her up and send her out.
As Jacob approached to help Brianna out, Victor stood his ground, blocking Jacob and Brianna, and then questioned Vincent in front of everyone, "I heard you brought a woman back home for the night last night, was it this kind of trash?"
Vincent didn’t want to argue this with Victor, so he coldly denied it, "I didn’t have a relationship with her."
Victor couldn’t care less about Vincent’s excuses. Whether something happened was up to Vincent’s words. Since May Morgan had said those words, it confirmed that Vincent had done something unfaithful to May last night.
"There you go again. We’re both men, do you think I wouldn’t know? Vincent, oh Vincent, you could’ve cheated outside, and that would’ve been the end of it, but you brought her home? Who are you trying to disgust? Doing such filthy things, you’ve truly made me ashamed!"
Victor gave Vincent a cold glare and then kicked Brianna’s thigh. With no intention to hold back, his hard shoe left a large bruise on Brianna’s snowy white thigh.
Brianna glared at Victor with resentment but was speechless as Victor caught sight of her and immediately went for another kick. Unable to stand by, Vincent extended a hand to stop him.
"Victor Grant, haven’t you caused enough trouble? Do you think this is your house?" Vincent glared furiously at Victor and reprimanded him.
Victor chuckled, flinging Vincent’s hand aside, "Oh, now you’re worried? When your wife was bullied, you acted like you were dead and didn’t utter a single word."
