When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster-Chapter 685: The Lancaster Family’s Great Benefactor
In the couple of seconds it takes for a child to be born, at Adrian Lancaster’s villa nestled by the mountains and waters, on the second floor master bedroom.
Caleb Lancaster, lying in bed, suddenly moved his finger slightly, a distinct action.
His eyes were tightly closed, covered with a blanket, and there was no one else around.
The doctor had just finished his physical examination and was now out discussing the next treatment plan.
The door to the master bedroom was open, and two attendants were standing at the entrance.
They certainly wouldn’t notice the faint movement of fingers inside.
At the hospital, a crowd of reporters gathered outside the hall, waiting for the good news.
The delivery room door opened, and a doctor came out to announce, "It’s born, it’s born. It’s a little princess, six pounds eight ounces, very healthy, she’s dressing her up now."
"How is Faye?!"
Everyone outside, almost simultaneously, nervously inquired.
The doctor was surprised and quickly replied, "Mrs. Lancaster is safe and sound, she just gave birth, a bit weak physically, needs a good rest."
"Doctor, when can I see my wife?" Adrian Lancaster, holding flowers, seemed eager.
"In about ten minutes, you can see your wife and child together," the doctor said, "No special emotions need to be handled, you can quickly move into the ward."
"Alright, thank you, please go ahead with your work."
"Okay." The doctor nodded to everyone and turned to step inside.
Everyone was concerned about Faye, but they equally loved the child.
Adrian Lancaster comforted himself, just a little longer, a little longer... Even though he was so eager, his Faye had suffered.
"Adrian."
Eliza Hayes suddenly remembered something and turned to ask, "When are you planning to give Faye a wedding? She just gave you a child."
Adrian Lancaster looked at his mother, his mind momentarily blank, the subject had shifted too quickly.
Eliza Hayes continued, "You organized the wedding for Dustin Shepherd and Serena Sutton, for your own wedding, you must be more focused, don’t just let it slide."
Adrian Lancaster snapped back, glanced at his mother, then at his mother-in-law, "I..."
Facing his mother-in-law, it was hard to mention searching for Faye’s biological parents.
"Rest assured, Moms!" Smiling, with the joy of becoming a father on his face, he promised, "Once the time is right, I’ll certainly throw Faye a grand wedding!"
"You’re waiting for your father to wake up, aren’t you?" The old man, leaning on a cane, felt everything was moving in a positive direction, "What’s the idea between you and Faye?"
"Yes." He answered, "I believe Dad will definitely wake up, and I hope to receive his blessings at the wedding."
He added, "Faye thinks the same, the wedding is just a formality, we are already very happy."
After hearing his explanation, everyone felt that Adrian had changed since being with Faye.
He started considering others and was mindful of everyone’s feelings.
Indeed, Caleb Lancaster hadn’t woken up yet, which left a lingering cloud over Eliza Hayes’ heart.
If, during the wedding, they could also receive Caleb Lancaster’s blessings, then everything would be super perfect.
Soon, the door to the delivery room opened again.
Faye Turner was sitting in a wheelchair, holding her adorable daughter, gently pushed out by two doctors.
Her smile was gentle and she radiated maternal brilliance.
From the moment she had held the child, her gaze never left her adorable daughter, too cute, never enough to look at.
Until the delivery room door opened, she finally looked up at everyone waiting outside.
Everyone had joyful smiles on their faces, and they surged forward to surround her. Today, she was the Lancaster Family’s great heroine.
