Faye Turner held her phone, staring at the address for a long time, feeling scared inside.

Her mother-in-law never liked her, and what happened yesterday with her father-in-law had left her mother-in-law displeased.

Instead, Faye told him, "Your mom called to meet me, just now."

This surprised Adrian, and something flickered in his deep, sharp eyes.

She explained, "Your mom gave me a location at a nearby club and told me to get there in half an hour. Her tone... wasn’t good."

As she spoke, she handed him the phone to show the location information.

Adrian furrowed his brows thoughtfully, "I’ll arrange for someone to protect you. I know the owner of this club. I’ll go with you."

Faye was alarmed, "She only asked for me."

"I’ll take Dustin’s car and drive you there, waiting outside," Adrian said as he dialed Dustin’s number, "Give me the car keys."

Soon, Dustin came over without questioning, handing over the keys, a bit worried about the girl he liked. What happened?

Adrian put an arm around Faye’s shoulder, "Let’s go." He released her at the door as they both headed out, entered the elevator together.
