Chapter 27 - The Mature Woman's Face Reveal

Han Tianming was glad that he got away. He felt that the woman was way too powerful, and she also said that she was one of the strongest. Han Tianming didn't know if what she said was true or not, but he knew for sure that the woman was far too strong for him.

So, he decided that it was best to run. As for his sister's safety? With that woman, his sister would be safe. Now that he was here, he decided to explore and see what this place looked like.

"I completely forgot to tell Yang Hao to keep his mouth shut. If he talks, my cover is blown." Han Tianming thought, realizing that he had forgotten to tell Yang Hao to keep it a secret. Then he shook his head and decided not to care about it.

Mo Yanyu and Han Tianxue had broken through and become True Elementals. Yang Hao could feel a huge vitality surging in their bodies as the elements in the environment were being absorbed into them.

After a while, they opened their eyes, stood up, and examined their bodies as they moved around. Han Tianxue stretched her hands out, bent her waist, and stretched her legs. She then looked at Mo Yanyu, who remained hidden behind her black robe.

Throughout the entire battle, that black robe had never opened, never revealing what was hidden beneath it. When Han Tianxue looked at her own clothes, she saw that they were covered in mud and torn around her stomach and thighs, exposing her bronze-skinned, six-pack abs and strong thighs.

"Do you belong to some force?" Mo Yanyu turned to the mature woman and asked.

The mature woman nodded. "Yes, I belong to the Crimson Lotus Empire," she said, taking out a badge from the sleeve of her robe and showing it to Mo Yanyu and Han Tianxue.

When both of them saw the badge, they were certain that this woman belonged to the Crimson Lotus Empire. Moreover, the badge she held was that of the leader of the Crimson Lotus Knights, the strongest knights force in the entire world.

Yang Hao also saw it and was shocked as well.

"Isn't there a chance she's a fake? That she copied the badge?" Yu Ruyi asked in his mind.

No. Anyone who copies the badge is instantly killed by fire. Even if someone mistakenly creates an identical badge, they will be burned to death without even knowing how they died.

Yang Hao explained in his mind. Yu Ruyi nodded, understanding that this badge was a taboo in this world. The person who created it must have reached the very limits of this world's power.

"So, do you want to be my disciple?" the mature woman asked.

Mo Yanyu turned to Yang Hao. She did want to become a disciple, but she had also promised Yang Hao that they would join the Immortal Sect together.

"I'd like to take her as my master. What's your opinion?" Mo Yanyu asked.

"It's a good opportunity. The Crimson Lotus Empire has a good reputation, and with her as your master, you'll receive a lot of resources and quickly become stronger. So yeah, go ahead," Yang Hao said.

"Hm," Mo Yanyu nodded. "But... "What about you? If you come with me, you'll gain more than any sect could offer. And as my future husband, you'd have endless benefits."

Yang Hao asked Yu Ruyi and she told him not to join, so Yang Hao shook his head. "No, I have my own plans."

The mature woman looked at them and smiled. She didn't know why, but she felt happy watching them talk like that.

"Okay," Mo Yanyu nodded. "Just one thing, Yang Hao—don't forget me. I love you, and if you ever need me, I'll come running."

Yang Hao nodded. Then, Mo Yanyu turned to the mature woman and said, "Alright, I'll be your disciple."

The mature woman shook her head and sighed, but then chuckled. She couldn't believe it—she, a legendary figure, had just stood there waiting while this girl debated her options like it was no big deal, even tossing benefits to her boyfriend. And when she finally agreed, it was so casual, like Mo Yanyu was the one picking her instead of the other way around.

"I'm Lan Huoyan," she said, sliding the hood off her face with a graceful flick of her hand.

The moment her face came into view, the air seemed to still. Her hair was a cascade of deep, fiery crimson, flowing down her back in thick, silky waves that caught the light like liquid flame. It framed her face perfectly, falling past her shoulders and brushing the edges of her robe. Her skin was flawless, pale yet warm, glowing with an almost otherworldly sheen. Her lips were full and naturally red, curved into a subtle, knowing smile. Her cheekbones were sharp, giving her a regal, commanding look, but it was her eyes that stopped everyone cold—one a blazing ruby red on the left, fierce and intense, the other a cool, piercing blue on the right, calm yet endlessly deep. The contrast was hypnotic, pulling you in and refusing to let go. She was beautiful—stunningly.

Yang Hao stared, speechless. Han Tianxue blinked hard, her breath catching. Mo Yanyu's eyes widened, unable to look away.

She caught their reactions and laughed, a rich, mature sound that sent a shiver through the air, her charm wrapping around them like heat from a fire.

Then she turned to Han Tianxue. "What about you? Have you decided?"

Han Tianxue snapped out of her daze and shook her head. "I'd love to, but I can't. I'm the next heir of the Han Clan. I've got duties."

If she become Lan Huoyan's disciple, meant she joined the Crimson Lotus Empire.

Lan Huoyan nodded. "I get it. Well, it's getting late—shall we head back?" She pulled her hood up again, her breathtaking face disappearing beneath the shadow of the robe once more.

They all agreed and started walking, but then Navrita's voice cut through Yang Hao's mind like a blade. "Yang Hao! Get to your house, now!"

He didn't know why, but he broke into a run. However, before he could get far, Lan Huoyan spread fire around them, lifting them into the sky as they flew at high speed.
