The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 570: The Return of Aion

The Divine Guard were on their toes when Aion arrived. They knew that the only person who stood a chance against him was Clarisse, but seeing her on the ground like that struck fear into their bodies.

They didn't know what to do, whether they should act or if they should hope that Aion wouldn't do anything to them. But it didn't matter because in an instant, hundreds of thousands of them were wiped out in an instant.

"N-NOOOOOOOOO!!!"

The divine guard attacked, rage taking over their bodies as they all charged at Aion.

"S-Stop! He's too powerful!" Clarisse warned, but her concern fell on deaf ears.

Kai smirked, then charged at them as well. He dodged attacks, sabbing the guardsmen in the chest, watching as they vanished into nothingness. The speed at which he moved made him look like a blur to everyone around him.

Within mere moments, more and more divine guards fell to his blade, causing more panic and anger.

"Hahahahahaha! You filthy dogs! You should have served me, not my father!" Kai continued to go around killing everyone until Clarisse was finally able to heal herself and attack him again.

"Retreat!" She yelled. "We won't win today!"

"B-But lady Clarisse, he—"

"I said retreat!" This time, Clarisse shouted with power resonating in her voice.

"Dammit!" The divine guard all vanished in a beam of light as if they were never here in the first place.

Even the dead were teleported away.

"My lord! We'll go after them!"

Kai frowned, then killed the guy for his stupidity. "You useless bastards nearly got yourselves wiped out, and now you want to go after them? I should kill all of you just for this guy's stupidity. But I'm not. Go back to your homes, regain your power, and wait for my command. I won't accept another failure from any of you. Do you understand?!"

"Y-Yes, Lord Aion." They all bowed in unison.

"Now get the fuck out of my sight."

Everyone returned to their ships, if they weren't destroyed, and went back home.

"Ha! That ought to mess them up for a bit. Now, where was the meeting place Clarisse told me to go to again?"

"Lady Clarisse! We had them! They were in our grasp! Why did we retreat?!" One of the Divine Guards didn't understand her reasoning.

Clarisse put up her hand. "Be quiet. This was all a part of the plan."

"Plan? What plan? Our fellow guardsmen just got slaughtered by that bastard Aion!"

"Aw, man. I don't like being called a bastard." Kai arrived, still wearing Aion's face.

"Mother fucker!" The man charged at Kai, only to miss since Kai teleported behind Clarisse.

"Whoa! What the hell is that guy's problem?"

"Kai, you still look like Aion."

"Oh, right." Poof, he changed back. "Much better?"

"Huh? The young lord?"

Everyone was confused, so Clarisse explained everything from the beginning.

"And as for the people I killed, they're perfectly fine." Kai waved his hand, and everyone who was presumed dead appeared out of nowhere.

"I-I see. Wow, I have to admit that this was a pretty good plan." The man said with a smile.

"I know, right?! I came up with it because I'm just that guy!" Kai felt the need to brag because, why not?

"Now that we have dwindled the forces of Aion, it's time for us to get going, Kai. We need to complete your training."

"What? I thought this was my training!"

"Nope! Let's go." Clarisse grabbed him, then vanished.

"It's time, isn't it?" Cassie asked while resting in Leo's arms. She had her clone training her daughter-in-law while she met with Leo to talk about their eldest son.

"Yeah. Aion is close to breaking out of the prison now. His power of a billion years has finally reached the point where he can escape."

"Do you think that Kai will be alright? Can he beat Aion?"

"I believe in him. You do know that I can see the future, right?"

Cassie frowned. The future wasn't a single event. It was always flowing, in motion. One little thing could change the outcome of a specific future.

"And out of all of those futures, how many times has Kai won the battle against his brother?"

Leo didn't answer at first, not wanting Cassie to know, but after seeing her determined expression, he relented.

"I've looked into all possible futures of their battle, and Kai has only won 2 of them, one costing his life in the process."

"And you're still going to let him fight! Are you out of your mind?! We already lost our other sons! Do you want to lose your remaining one? The one that you care for the most? The one who actually loves you?!"

"Heh, I wouldn't say that Kai loves me, but..."

"Shut up! You know damn well that child sees you as his best friend. You were always there for him, looked out for him, and watched him grow. He looks up to you, even if he doesn't want to admit it. And now, you're going to get him killed!"

Leo sighed, then looked up at the night sky, which was just space since they were in space. So it wasn't even the night sky. It was just space.

"He's not going to die. Do you want to know why?"

"Enlighten me."

"Because he's nothing like any of us. Kai was thrown into the position he is in now. He didn't live like us, grow like us, or view the universe like us. He is an anomaly, a good one. While Aion will fight according to the laws of the universe, Kai will fight by trying to break them."

"What do you mean?"

"Heh. Aion wanted to rule the universe, so his mind is still trapped in a box. You know the saying, think outside the box, right? Well, because Kai doesn't care for that, his mind won't be grounded like Aion's own. Hell, the dude created a weapon out of my freaking hair! I didn't even know when he did that shit. I believe in him, and you should too."

Cassie sighed, nodded, then sank her face into Leo's chest.

Outside the universe where Aion's prison was located, the shackles that kept him bound to this place finally crumbled under his power. He dropped to the ground, his bones cracking, breath steady, and his mind more determined than ever.

He could feel the traces of his power that he left in the universe, those traces either becoming clones or taking over the bodies of other deities.

When he stood up, he cracked his bones, stretched his body, and groaned in pleasure.

"Wow! I feel fucking amazing! Who would have thought that being locked up was a pretty nice way to stretch my limbs?" With a wave of his hand, clothes returned to his body, and he took a step outside.

He was currently inside the void, the white void. This was the place where space ended, an infinite void where Leo was born. Unfortunately, he didn't contain Leo's spark, something he desperately needed from Kai, so he couldn't survive long in this place.

"Look at this. I'm his son, and I still can't survive here." Leo was watching his hand being erased from existence.

"Meh, whatever." He rocketed out of the void, destroying his prison before fully entering the universe. The moment his body made contact with the black, empty void, Aion took it all in.

It has been over a billion years since he was in the universe. He sniffed nothingness, breathed in nothing, and looked at nothing. It's space, what do you expect? But all of that made him feel extremely good.

"Heh, haha. HAHAHAHA. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He clapped his hands, and a massive energy wave distorted reality, sending a divine ripple throughout the universe to not only signal everyone of his arrival, but also watch as the planets and stars caught in that ripple got destroyed.

"I'm back!" He took off toward his planet, not seeing it in years, but when he arrived, it was no longer there.

"What is this trickery?" At first, he assumed there was an illusion here that blocked his vision, but after trying to dispel it, he realized that there was no illusion at all.

"No!" The law of time allowed one to not only control time but also peek through it. So, as Aion looked through time, he saw his favorite little brother destroying the planet with a grin on his face.

"Hahahahaha! I'm going to kill that little fucker!"

"Huh? Lord Aion? What are you doing here? Huh? And where is your planet?" A random god happened to be traveling the universe to deliver a message to him, but he thought Aion was still at the castle.

Aion looked at the god and nearly killed him out of anger, but he stopped himself.

"Floyd. What brings you here?"

"W-Well, you told us to regroup at our planets and wait for you to call us. But then I found some information that would be vital. I was going to the castle to deliver this information, but I didn't know you were back home. But where is your planet?" 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

"Floyd, what the hell are you talking about?"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I just got out of prison. When did I tell you to regroup on your planets?"

"Ohhh hahahahaha! You're joking. That's a good one, Lord Ai-AKKKKKKKK!"

Aion grabbed Floyd by the throat and squeezed hard. "Tell me what the fuck happened, or I'll squeeze that stupid brain of yours out of your thick skull.

"Argh—Y-You summoned us to your castle a-and found some spies. You got rid of them, but then the Divine Guard found us and attacked. You fought against Clarisse!"

Aion looked at the man in confusion. "When the fuck did that happen?!"
