After the incident at the gate, Bing Xin followed Second Young Master Shan to the main hall of the Shan Family Manor.

Second Young Master Shan didn’t seem to care at all that Bing Xin didn’t say a thing.

Second Young Master Shan didn’t care about that either as he nodded back at the servants that greeted him.

It was only when they were at the main hall that he turned around to look at her.

The way that he looked at her wasn’t the way that someone blood related should look at their relative, but he didn’t hide the way that he looked at her at all.

After looking at her for a bit like this, he finally said, "They’re waiting for me." Then after a pause he added, "If you listen to me, I could help you."

There was a clear suggestive tone in his voice as he said this that made it clear what he was implying. However, Bing Xin’s expression didn’t change at all as she looked forward.

The way that she looked was almost as if she was ignoring him.

Second Young Master Shan slightly narrowed his eyes before giving a shrug and saying, "Fine, act tough if you want. This is nothing more than a facade and you won’t be able to keep it up for long."

Without even caring that Bing Xin was following him, Second Young Master Shan walked into the main hall and slammed the door behind him.

Bing Xin stood there for a few seconds before taking a deep breath and opening the door in front of her.

As soon as the door opened, all of the people waiting inside were revealed.

Second Young Master Shan had also taken his seat in the hall and didn’t seem interested at all in Bing Xin.

The others were looking at her with looks like they were sizing her up.

However, Bing Xin’s eyes were on a single person who was in this room.

This was one of the middle aged men who was in this room.

He was the Fourth Master of the Shan Family, Shan Tian Jun.

His other identity was Bing Xin’s biological father.

The way that Fourth Master Shan was looking at her was as if he was looking at a disappointment. The way that he looked at her was as if he felt that she shouldn’t have existed.

That was because in his mind, he felt that she really shouldn’t have existed.

This person was the oldest person in this room, as well as the one that had the highest status, which was why he was sitting in this center position.

Seeing that she didn’t say a thing, Family Head Shan didn’t seem to care as he said with a snap of his fingers, "Take her away and get her ready for the meeting."
