Prosperous Marriage: Married to My Brother-in-law-Chapter 808 - 806: Hidden Seeds of Affection (Part 4)
The men sitting on the sofa were maliciously snickering.
No matter how smart their young master was, he still didn't understand women very well.
They were sure he had no idea what that thing was used for.
"What are you looking at." Camila Ruiz blushed and reached out to snatch the package of Whisper from Jimmy Horne's hand, which he had unwrapped. He still held a small pack, which she swiftly grabbed as well, leaving Jimmy quite surprised, his dark eyes filled with confusion.
He turned to ask Oscar Evans, who was nearly suffering an internal injury from holding back laughter, "Old man Oscar, are these female products as well? You bought so many, looks like a dozen packs."
"Jimmy!" Camila's face could be described as being on fire.
She was particularly sensitive to this kind of thing, yet Jimmy, despite being smart, didn't know what it was and seemed determined to get to the bottom of it.
Disregarding everything else, she gathered up that dozen pack of Whisper, cursing Oscar Evans thousands of times in her heart; even if it's a female product, there's no need to buy so many, a dozen packs, did he think she was going to bleed to death?
Turning around, Camila Ruiz ran upstairs.
Jimmy was stunned, frozen on the spot.
"Young master, if you want to know what those things are, it's best to ask yourself; we are men, we don't know what they are or their use, just know they're female products," Oscar Evans said very wickedly.
Without needing his advice, Jimmy chased upstairs.
He wasn't planning to continue asking; he was worried Camila would be scared by Finn.
Indeed—
"Ah... could you please stop sticking out your tongue? It's really scary." Camila wanting to return to the room where she woke up, found Finn coiled at the doorway. Seeing her come upstairs, it happily flicked its tongue. Camila couldn't tell if it was happy or angry, thinking it wanted to attack her, her face turning from red to white.
A series of events made her curse Jimmy thousands of times.
That damned guy, why keep a snake for no reason, intentionally trying to scare people to death.
Hearing urgent footsteps behind, knowing it was Jimmy coming up, Camila's face swiftly turned red again.
The dozen pack of Whisper held in her arms became something she desperately wanted to hide, but where to hide? Seeing the open door, realizing Jimmy hadn't closed it when he brought her out, in a flash of wit Camila quickly tossed the dozen pack into the room. By the time Jimmy arrived beside her, her arms were already empty.
Exhaling heavily, she turned and collided with Jimmy's relatively firm chest, retreating a few steps in shock. Finn was happy to crawl over upon seeing Jimmy, flicking its tongue maliciously and just happened to lick Camila.
Camila's scalp tingled instantly, darting behind Jimmy, grasping his arm and murmuring, "Don't eat me, I'm not tasty."
"Camila, Finn won't eat you." Jimmy chuckled as he pulled her from behind him to face Finn. Finn was his companion in his world, he hoped she could overcome her fear and accept Finn.
Camila's face paled, cautiously looking at Finn and seeing kindness in its eyes.
"See, it won't hurt you." Jimmy held her small hand tightly, trying to convey reassurance.
Camila trembled as she carefully extended her hand, gently stroking Finn's head. Finn immediately showed a docile demeanor, relaxing her a bit. Her trembling hand gradually stopped shaking; Finn looked terrifying, yet truly harmless towards her.
Thinking about Finn accompanying Jimmy through several seasons, and how the two were as inseparable as partners, and how Finn's fearsome nature let Jimmy control those men, Camila's mindset slowly changed.
She realized that as long as it's an animal beneficial to Jimmy, she appreciated it from her core.
What kind of emotion was this? What kind of mentality?
Unable to explain, she was too lazy to speculate.
Jimmy kept his head down; with her by his side, his tall and strong stature was highlighted. Her height at one hundred and fifty-something centimeters at her age wasn't considered short, but standing in front of him made her appear particularly petite and graceful, capturing his heart that constantly longed for her. Seeing her not so extraordinary but charming face no longer pale, watching her slender hand slowly stroking Finn's body, his dark eyes began to grow deep, revealing a pampering that he hadn't realized himself.
"Hurry and take a shower, it's getting late, have an early rest."
The deep voice pulled Camila back to her senses. She tried to bypass Finn, noticing it made no sudden moves, exhaled heavily.
"Bang!" The sound of the door closing.
She needed to shower and change clothes, so of course, she had to close the door.
The pink decor of the room always gave her the illusion of being in her own boudoir.
The room wasn't very big, nor was it very small; it was a suite, with an adjoining bathroom.
Opening the door, Camila forcefully took the dress from Jimmy's hand, closing the door once again.
Once she finished showering and came out of the bathroom, it was already midnight.
Being bound here for just a few hours felt like years, her body limp as she collapsed onto the super soft bed, feeling the room stiflingly hot. She got up and walked to the window, opening all of them. The sea breeze came rushing, alleviating a bit of the stuffiness.
Falling back onto the big bed, exhausted, she soon fell into a deep sleep.
In the middle of the night.
Camila.
Camila, wake up.
Someone was whispering by her ear, low and small, yet still disturbing her.
Being woken from sleep, anger was at its peak.
Camila struggled to open her heavy eyelids.
"Jim..." Jimmy had already covered her mouth, preventing her from calling out.
Camila was wide awake, eyes wide with questions; she clearly locked the room, how did Jimmy get in? She wasn't aware at all.
"Don't make a sound, get up quickly and come with me."
Jimmy kept his voice low, speaking softly.
Camila's big eyes blinked, recalling the dinner scene, she gently removed Jimmy's hand from covering her mouth and quietly sat up.
