Right after it roared out like this, there was a large burst of dark energy that appeared around the demonic creature.

The appearance of this dark energy caused everyone to look at the demonic creature in shock.

They had already seen the power of this dark energy and they never expected the demonic creature to wield so much of it. It was so great that it even made what it had shown before seem like child’s play.

But this time, the demonic creature didn’t release the dark energy.

This time, the dark energy just seemed to wrap around the demonic creature as if it was surrounding it.

Once it wrapped around the demonic creature, it seemed like its skin also changed colours.

The skin that had been black already turned even more black.

It was almost like jet black night with how dark it was.

It seemed that this demonic creature was about to fight for real.

It was just too bad that...it couldn’t keep up with my speed at all.

Right after the demonic creature gathered its dark energy around it, I dashed forward.

The demonic creature revealed a shocked look when it saw how fast I was moving, but it didn’t let itself be overwhelmed by this as it roared out, "You think that you can defeat me with speed? I’ll show you just what kind of power I have!"

There was even more dark energy that burst out after it said this.

However...

A single stab was all that it took.

I thought that there would be more resistance from the demonic creature, but it didn’t seem like there was any resistance at all. It seemed like I was cutting right through butter with how easily the Wild Raging Spear penetrated into the demonic creature.

When it was over, I was standing on the other side of the demonic creature and it was looking down at the gaping hole that was in its chest.

As it looked down at the gaping hole that was there, the demonic creature raised its hands as if it wanted to cover its wound and said, "No, how is this possible? How was I defeated by a lowly human from some lower realm?"

Then it collapsed with a look of disbelief on its face before fading into nothingness.

During all of this, I just couldn’t help feeling a bit disappointed and a bit dismayed.

After all, it had been too easy...

The system had said that this was a dangerous situation, but where was the danger?

Didn’t the thing that was considered dangerous go down with a single blow?
