Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 220 - 219: Sweetness (Part 6)
Damian’s eyes held a hint of amusement, "Quit joking, hurry up and get some of those things all women need and send them over to me. I’ll give you ten minutes."
"Ten minutes? Bro, even if I hopped on a rocket right now, I couldn’t make it in that time!" Bea was speechless, "And you have to tell me exactly what to prepare, right? What’s with ’things all women need’? I’m telling you, there are tons of things women need! Lipstick, perfume, money, and... men!"
"Blythe!" Damian’s tone was full of warning.
Bea chuckled, "Hey, Bro, could it be that Bella Acker came over and left you unsatisfied?"
"Come home this weekend for dinner with Mom, Dad, and Grandpa!"
"No, no, no, I won’t tease you anymore, I’m scared of you, alright?" Bea pouted, "Wait up, I’ll send it over now. Love-struck fool, hmph!"
The call ended, and Damian let out a barely visible sigh at the night sky; he really was left unsatisfied!
Bea was quite fast, probably not too far away, as she delivered the stuff before Bella even finished her shower.
Damian opened the door for her, and Bea walked in looking for someone, "Bro, where’s Bella Acker?"
"You call her Bella Acker?" Damian took the plastic bag from her hands and finally found the odd one out among the pile of snacks.
He picked it up, checked the product name and performance description on the packaging, and then took a pack of night-use pads to the bathroom.
Bea watched wide-eyed, hardly able to believe that the man seriously inspecting the sanitary pad packaging was her eternally icy brother. Had she drunk too much and started hallucinating?
Bea involuntarily rubbed her eyes, just in time to see the bathroom door open. Her brother handed over the pads, a slender, fair arm extended out from the bathroom, snatched the pads from his hand, and the door slammed shut.
Damian calmly turned around, grabbed a bottle of Evian from the fridge, and walked back.
Bea took the mineral water, a little surprised, "Are you really my brother? Or is someone impersonating you?"
Damian couldn’t be bothered with her, he sat down on the sofa, casually picked up a file beside him, and began to sign. Only after he was done did he finally speak, "Mom’s given a strict order for you to come home for dinner this weekend."
"What? No way!" Bea shrieked, losing all interest in teasing her brother, "Bro, you have my back, right?"
Damian set the file down and glanced at her, "You’ve been back for so long and only stayed for just one day, how can I cover for you?"
"No, please!" Bea pleaded, "Bro, you can’t just ensure your own happiness and ignore your sister, can you? You know why Mom’s ordering me back for dinner, right? It’s the modern age, why a blind date? Does Mom think I can’t get married?"
"Once you bring home a serious boyfriend, Mom and Dad won’t worry about you anymore."
"Tch, as if you’ve brought someone home," Bea said, her eyes lighting up with gossip, "By the way, Bro, when do you plan to bring Bella, I mean, sister-in-law, sister-in-law. When are you planning to bring sister-in-law home to meet Mom and Dad?"
Damian was silent for a while before saying, "It’s not the right time yet."
Bea crossed her legs and nodded, "Alright, you’ve always had your own mind about things, even from childhood, Mom and Dad don’t worry about you. As long as it’s someone you like, I’m sure Mom and Dad will like her too."
