I didn’t say anything. I had killed Purple Thunder and defeated both Red Maple and Cyan Frost up until this point. What else did they have that could possibly repel me? The Dragon Cannon? If that was their plan, then all I could say is that it wasn’t quite enough…

The Japanese players on the walls groaned loudly at the demoralizing sight. "What the fuck! It took ages to bring his HP down, and one skill is all it takes to heal him back to full? This is bullshit!"
Meanwhile, Red Maple had landed on top of a Dragon Cannon and took control of it. He immediately rotated the muzzle in my direction while shouting, "All Dragon Cannons, aim and fire at Broken Halberd Sinks Into Sand at the same time! Let’s see if he can survive six consecutive cannon shots!"
A Dragon Cannon could fire two shells in rapid succession, so three Dragon Cannons could fire a total of six shells at a time.

I backed away while paying close attention to the Dragon Cannons. The siege weapons were player-controlled and placed in different locations, so their shots couldn’t reach me at the exact same time. I might be able to exploit the time difference and save my own life!
Red Maple’s shots arrived first and engulfed me and the players around me in flames almost instantly. My heart sank as I measured the pain I was feeling. It was because one of the shots was a critical hit!

Still dashing around, I cast Tenacity of the Dead and Dragon Bloodboil and just barely avoided being instakilled by the enemies around me—

I zigzagged along the rampart as unpredictably as I could, but I was ultimately unable to avoid being hit by the third and fourth shot. I shot my HP bar a glance and felt like my heart was about to stop. Motherfucker! My HP had dropped to just 1,000 or so, meaning that even the slightest brush against an attack would probably kill me!
The explosive impact caused me to crash against the snow-covered bricks and leave behind a deep trench. The knockback power of the Dragon Cannon—assuming that the victim wasn’t blasted into pieces immediately—was no joke.
I gritted my teeth and forced myself to come to a stop with my Domain. Then, I charged straight toward a group of archers and hit them with Burning Blade Slash!

The skill killed or damaged countless and caused my HP to skyrocket. Thousand Ice Slash at a different group of enemies later, I had returned to 16 million HP. The 50% lifesteal of my Xuanyuan Sword was just too good!
Finally, I raised the Dihai Shield, plunged my sword into the bricks, and Guarded against the fifth and sixth shots. I was pushed back a dozen meters or so, but by the end of it I still had around 2 million HP. I let out an involuntary cackle before flying straight toward Red Maple with a shout, "You’d better kill me while you still can, or you’re the one who’s going to die, Red Maple!"
Red Maple gritted his teeth and charged toward me. "You think I’m scared of you!?"

His sword glowed golden. It was the light of an Ancient Divine Skill!
He thought he could one-shot me with it while my health was low?
I laughed again. The moment Red Maple got close to me, I aimed my palm at his weapon and activated Flying Dragon Hand! Disarm!

Red Maple’s Ancient Divine Skill struck me right after he was disarmed. He did pretty good damage considering that he was unarmed, but—

However, Red Maple surprised me by flying into the air and activating his invincibility skill. He would rather waste a precious cooldown if it meant preventing me from killing him.

I didn’t think I could survive the combo that was sure to land after Freezing Slash, especially since Cyan Frost wasn’t a defensive magic knight. With her Attack and the hidden boosts one got for being a divine player, she had a pretty good chance of killing me if I dared to underestimate her!

Her sword struck the Dihai Shield and quickly encased it in ice. In the end, I wasn’t able to avoid being frozen. Cyan Frost had come at me just a bit too quickly!

"How is this possible…" Cyan Frost uttered through gritted teeth before showering me with an angry glare. "I will kill you! I won’t let Red Maple’s efforts go to waste!"
She brought her sword down in one powerful swing!

However, I caught the blade with my bare hand before pulling it behind me. Then, I leaped over Cyan Frost’s head and struck her shoulder with the Xuanyuan Sword!

The eternal cyclone that surrounded a divine player’s body, Unusual Physique, shattered into pieces from the blow. The gap between our stats was just too huge.
