Chapter 1546: Killing Purple Thunder
Red Maple was floating above the Impassable Great Wall and a long line of Swallow Ear Canton defenders when he abruptly looked in my direction. Face distorted into an expression of hatred immediately, he ordered, "Archers and mages, target and destroy Broken Halberd Sinks Into Sand if he dares come close to the walls!"
There was a dark shadow floating next to him; a flying assassin to be exact. I had no doubt that he was Purple Thunder, the only assassin in the game to have ascended so far.
Purple Thunder, Red Maple and Cyan Frost whom I couldn’t spot yet, were both Swallow Ear Canton’s greatest hope and our biggest opponent in this battle.

As I slowly walked toward the Impassable Great Wall, the arrows that were shot in my direction bounced harmlessly off my body. A normal archer simply didn’t possess the Attack to pierce my Defense, not to mention that I had an extra layer of defense called Unusual Physique.
I looked up in the sky and yelled, "Candlelight Shadow, Warsky, what are you guys waiting for? Tell your men to scale the walls first!"
"Mn!"
Candlelight Shadow nodded before waving an arm and yelling, "One more charge, people! Don’t let the Japanese look down on us! So what if you die? It’s just one level!"
About 20k Candle Dragon cavalrymen galloped toward the walls immediately. When they reached the cloud ladders, they canceled their mounts and began climbing upward. A lot of siege weapons were bombarding the wall, but they kept being focused down by the defenders. As a result, they were unable to unleash their full power.
Hovering in the sky with the mark of Mount Armor Transformation shining on his arm, Warsky also growled, "Gold Cavalry, charge! We’ll have to die to pay for our failures if we still can’t overcome the Impassable Great Wall this time, so make sure you do your damnedest!"

I nodded strongly and gripped my sword. Then, I shot toward the sky like a lightning bolt and reached max velocity in just a short time. Energy surrounding my entire body, I flew straight toward the Dragon Cannon at the center like a sword!
Red Maple saw this coming as a matter of course. He hurriedly shouted, "He’s coming! Target and kill him now!"
I expected this, so I quickly set up a couple of waypoints in the air. The moment I reached the first waypoint, I kicked my foot and shot toward a different direction in an arc. Sometimes I accelerated, sometimes I decelerated. All in all, it looked as if I was zigzagging across the air in an erratic manner. Movements like these were the hardest to pinpoint. A large majority of the arrows missed me, and skills with over a second of channeling time such as God Devil Break, Galaxy Storm were so off the mark they might as well have been using them at random. It was quite the pretty sight to have a trail of MISS text trailing behind me.

Anxious, Red Maple decided to bring me down himself and charged toward me. He bore down on me like a mountain and unleashed Fire God Flurry!
I gritted my teeth and went all out. I expanded my Domain in full before lashing out with Universe Break!

Our two swords clashed, and Red Maple was immediately knocked back by the impact. It was because my Strength, level and more were all higher than his. However, he did manage to pause me in my tracks for an instant and even strike me in the face with Maple Kill!

Fireballs, ice blades, wind storms and rocks descended all around me. I had to slow down to fight Red Maple earlier, and the Xuanyuan Sword hadn’t returned to me yet. So, I had no choice but to raise the Dihai Shield in front of me and activate Profound Armor to triple my Defense!

Arrows and magic spells splashed against the Dihai Shield like a river. The density of the attacks was so great that I lost over 9 million HP in an instant. The good news was that I had nearly 25 million HP, so they were still a ways away from defeating me!

I stopped in my tracks, opened my left palm, and fought against her Domain with my own. By constantly shifting the power balance between our Domains, and having one overpower the other, I caused clashes of divine power that spilled into and affected the surroundings. As a result, my body was shifted about 2 meters to the back, dodging an attack that was positively undodgeable otherwise!
"What? How is that possible…"
Cyan Frost’s eyes widened at the afterimage I left behind, but she immediately conjured a number of icicles and fired them at me. It was Icicle Flurry!
I put the Dihai Shield in front of myself and tanked the quadruple-hit skill head-on. Ice crept around my shield instantly!
