Void Cultivation-Chapter 206-
After killing the old man, Grey did not feel any joy or any particular emotion in his heart. However, he heaved a sigh of relief, grabbed the storage bag, and left.
After killing the old man, he no longer had any business in the Whistling Fields or in Green City anymore. He could finally return to Sky Mist City and register as a Foundation Establishment cultivator.
Not only that, but he would also receive the cultivation arts for sect members in the Foundation Establishment Realm. That part really made Grey eager, because attaining the Foundation Establishment Realm was something that he had been craving for a long time.
The underlying threat of the middle-aged man was still looming over his head as well. So he wanted to hurry back to the sect. Although he doubted that the middle-aged man could barge into the sect and try to kill him, it was always good to be prepared and vigilant.
That was why, after he had registered and gotten a cultivation art, he would return to the sea to open his spirit perforations.
Until then, Grey wanted to leave the Whistling Fields as fast as he could before the middle-aged man got there. He also didn’t want to encounter another one of his projections, so he hurried away at full speed.
The power of his twenty-five spirit perforations roared and filled his body with spirit power. In seconds, Grey crossed hundreds of feet. A flash of red was seen, and Roxanne appeared. Her expression was one of indifference and coldness. She did not struggle to keep up with Grey’s speed. She naturally followed at the same pace.
Time trickled by, and a whole day passed. During that time, Grey and Roxanne flew over a very long distance. But they were still very far from reaching a teleportation station.
If they tried to head back to Sky Mist City without the use of teleportation stations, it would take them several years.
After Grey entered the Foundation Establishment Realm, his speed was naturally the first thing that improved by leaps and bounds.
He deduced that in a couple more days, they would reach the first teleportation station. During that time, they were not disturbed by other cultivators or bizarre existences. The aura of Foundation Establishment coming from Grey was enough to scare all those who saw him.
And if that wasn’t enough, Roxanne’s silent but burning power was enough to keep them away. Although she was a mystical creature, her power was equivalent to someone in the late stages of the Foundation Establishment Realm and very close to breaking through to the Spirit Core Formation Realm.
Her cold and nonchalant attitude toward everyone except Grey caused her to be an existence that no one wanted to trifle with. This caused their journey to be smooth and lack any disturbances.
In the blink of an eye, two whole days passed. But Grey could not detect the city where the teleportation station was. A frown gradually appeared on his face as he continued flying through the air.
His clothes fluttered lightly in the wind, and his long hair danced behind him. With his casual but indifferent expression, he looked like an immortal flying through the clouds and heading for the heavens.
The great power coming from him caused those in the Qi Accumulation Realm to feel as if they were looking at an existence akin to the sun. Just looking at him was enough to hurt their eyes. And that was when Grey did not activate his Special Brilliance form. If he erupted with the full power of his spirit perforations, then they would probably die from shock.
Of course, all this did not bother Grey. After entering the Foundation Establishment Realm, he also felt that some things in the world were meaningless. And he would not try to provoke people because of his strength.
In this chaotic world, those types of people were also the first to die.
Grey maintained his silence and continued to fly. When another day had passed, he still did not find the city where the teleportation station was.
This made him stop in mid-air and ponder with a confused expression on his face. "Was my calculation really correct? How come I haven’t found the teleportation city yet? But the direction I’m flying in is the right direction. Could I have maybe passed it?" Grey said as he brought out a jade slip.
In that jade slip was a map of the Whistling Fields. Of course, this map did not really contain the entire Whistling Fields, only a portion of it. Just this alone made Grey realize that the second continent was a really large place, so large that small corners and areas were very hard to cross in a short period of time.
However, the funny part was that they were still in a corner of the Eastern Continent, which was the second continent, with Sky Mist City being located close to the edges of the continent, where the Dead Sea was in close proximity.
After checking the map, Grey continued in the same direction. He was confident that he was heading in the right direction, but it would just take some time to reach the city.
This flight continued for another two days when Grey saw the teleportation city from afar.
It was a rather small city with a very small population. Most of the people there were either low-level cultivators or mundane humans. Non-human races were not common.
The lord of the city was an old woman who had an average cultivation base at the perfected level of the Qi Accumulation Realm. To many in the city, she was a being who could kill them all, but to Grey, she was nothing.
If he wanted to appear visible to her, then he could do it. But Grey had other plans. Since he came here, he did not have an ID. Teleportation stations mostly used spirit coins and the ID of who you were and where you were going.
If you were just going to another teleportation city, then your personal information was not required. However, if you were going to main cities or some sect branches, then you would need to provide your identification.
If a foreign cultivator in the Foundation Establishment Realm were to enter a main city, he or she would immediately be suppressed by the array, and several powerful warriors would be sent to their location.
This was the same for large sects alike. But the sects’ methods of doing things were even more cruel.
If a foreign cultivator in the Qi Accumulation Realm were to enter a large sect, he would immediately be noticed and scanned by the array formation and probed. Although nothing would happen to him, he would be closely watched for the time being to prevent danger and losses from happening. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
However, if a cultivator in the Foundation Establishment Realm were to appear, he would immediately be suppressed by the array formation. Several high-level guards would be sent to his location instantly, and if any malicious intent were felt, he would immediately be attacked and killed.
The chances of the foreign cultivator killing the guards were also low because the array formation would suppress and restrict his cultivation base to the lowest.
The only way he could ignore the array formation was if he had strength equivalent to or higher than the array formation. But if that were the case, then several sect elders would come to face the foreign cultivator directly. Even then, the chances of that happening were very low because the number of unknown cultivators with high-level cultivation was very rare.
And they would not take the risk of provoking a large sect.
If Grey were still in the Foundation Establishment Realm, then he would not have minded the teleportation city rules and would have teleported straight to Sky Mist City. After all, the array formation there would recognize his identity as a former member in the Qi Accumulation Realm.
At most, he would have to register again, but this time, with a Foundation Establishment Realm identity.
