Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master!-Chapter 106: She Wants to Leave This City Immediately
Landon Ford navigated his way into the bar effortlessly.
Thea Shaw, who had been feeling a bit down earlier, couldn’t help but exclaim "Wow!" upon entering the lively bar with its dancing men and women.
Look at those men dressed outrageously!
Landon Ford led her to the second floor, to a perfect spot with a great view.
Landon Ford sat on the sofa nearby, laughed coldly, and said, "What do you want to do here?"
Thea Shaw hastily replied, "I just wanted to see what a bar is like. I noticed how energetic clubbing seems and wanted to experience it."
Landon Ford responded ruthlessly, "Then just sit here and watch, observe them clubbing to your heart’s content."
Thea Shaw: "..."
Ten minutes later, Thea Shaw was crestfallen, "Landon, I want to go home."
Being forced to watch the wild dancing below was unbearable for anyone.
Thea Shaw suddenly found bars genuinely uninteresting.
Just a few dance moves were less entertaining than watching a family drama at home.
Landon Ford chuckled coldly, "Don’t want to watch anymore?"
Thea Shaw shook her head, "I think it’s just like that."
With that, she raised her leg to leave.
In the dimly lit and chaotic light of the bar, Thea, eager to escape the suffocating atmosphere, didn’t notice and collided with the edge of a table. With a "bang," she stumbled and fell.
According to normal plot development, we all know that Landon Ford might be expected to heroically save her.
But Thea Shaw’s fall was so abrupt and quick that the Landon Ford behind her hadn’t even gotten off the sofa, completely unprepared.
Landon Ford: "..."
He watched in shock as she abruptly crashed to the ground.
Fortunately, there was carpeting, so the fall didn’t hurt.
And luckily, after Landon Ford arrived, he had cleared the second floor, so no one else witnessed this scene.
He immediately stood up from the sofa, walked over to help Thea Shaw by the shoulder, and asked with a mix of amusement and concern, "Are you okay?"
A waiter carrying a fruit platter was standing by the stairs, just in time to see this incident. He paused for a moment, then silently placed the fruit platter on the table and quickly retreated down the stairs.
Thea Shaw: "..."
She needed to leave this city immediately!
She lifted her head, her expression calm but her voice slightly trembling, "Landon, I want to leave this city. Can you buy me a plane ticket? I want to go back home to see my parents."
Landon Ford couldn’t help but chuckle, "I understand."
He reached out, intending to help Thea Shaw up by her waist, but realized it might be inappropriate as she was wearing a loose dress. As he noticed the way her dress fell, he paid attention to her waistline.
He squinted slightly, noticing how slender her waist was.
Thea Shaw, unaware of his thoughts, struggled to get up on her own, "Let’s go, let’s go!"
Landon Ford continued to ask, "You didn’t hurt yourself, did you?"
"No, no."
She simply hadn’t been careful and tripped. Now, it wasn’t her body that was hurt, but her pride.
Once assured she was fine, Landon Ford stood up with a chuckle, "Will you come again?"
He had sensed something was off when he saw the message, so he had rushed over, and to his surprise, he caught her in the act.
Though everyone who came to play at the bar was of good intentions, most had other motives too. Her presence there would undoubtedly attract attention.
Thea Shaw: "I’m not coming again."
She had lost face and couldn’t return to this place.
As they descended the stairs, Zia Sutton called, her voice full of shock, "Did you go to a bar?"
Thea Shaw: "..."
Wow, how is it that people spread news this ridiculously fast?
