Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master!-Chapter 105: I’ll Take You Inside to Have Fun
In the end, they hadn’t even gone in before being stopped by security.
"Sorry, our bar operates on a membership basis. You need to show your membership card to enter. Miss, do you have a membership card?"
"..." A bar with this kind of rule, Thea thought for a moment, "What’s required to get a card?"
The security guard smiled and said, "Our bar requires a referral. You need to be brought in by a guest who already has a membership card."
Thea: "..."
Well then.
Not having even entered yet and already about to leave in defeat, Thea was just about to walk away and find another place when a young man’s voice came from beside her, "No worries, I’ll take her in."
Thea turned her head to look, and it was an obviously wealthy second-generation heir drowning in debauchery.
Except——
He really didn’t look that great, chubby and short, and his small eyes flashed with a sleazy light when looking at Thea.
Thea didn’t want to expose her unfriendly behavior of judging by appearance, so she folded her arms and shook her head, "Forget it, I won’t go."
The wealthy heir seemed a bit unwilling, "Hey, didn’t you want to go in and have a look? I have a membership card for this place, and you can drink whatever you want. I’ll cover your expenses for tonight."
"Hahahahaha, isn’t Fatty Dudley just a toad wanting to eat swan meat?"
A few men and women came over from beside the bar, and one of the skinnier ones pointed at Fatty and laughed, "Look at her appearance and temperament, then look at yourself, Fatty Dudley, aren’t you aware?"
The person called Fatty Dudley looked upset and stared at the man, "None of your damn business!"
The skinny man wasn’t afraid and looked at Thea appraisingly, "You’ve never been to a bar before?"
Thea shook her head.
He continued, "Then don’t come. This isn’t a place you should be."
Thea: "..."
She felt baffled as to why everyone thought she shouldn’t come to such a place.
It’s not like bars are anything scandalous.
Fatty Dudley sneered, "Timothy Vaughn, mind your own business."
He then reached out, trying to grab Thea.
Thea jumped back a meter, wary, "What are you doing?!"
Fatty Dudley’s expression froze.
Timothy Vaughn burst into an earth-shattering laugh.
Going back and forth, Thea lost interest in an instant. She originally planned to just come in to see what kind of place the young people liked nowadays, purely out of curiosity. Now, since she couldn’t go, oh well.
As she was about to leave, suddenly a chill swept through the surroundings. From the sudden silence of the people around, it seemed like an ominous sign.
A tall figure wholly overshadowed Thea, and a man’s sinister voice suddenly sounded from behind, "Want to have some fun?"
Thea turned her head up slightly to see a familiar face and familiar figure.
After a moment’s silence, Thea folded her arms behind her back and smiled brightly, "What a coincidence, Landon. I didn’t expect to see you here. I was just passing by and about to leave. You enjoy your time."
Landon Ford grabbed Thea by the back of her collar, seizing the back of her neck like fate’s grasp, "Didn’t you want to have some fun? I’ll take you in to play."
With that, he took Thea and headed inside.
His face was grim; anyone not blind could see he was quite agitated at the moment.
Several security guards at the door hung their heads like quails, not daring to utter a sound.
Membership card?
Why wasn’t he asked to show a membership card!
Thea was silenced by Landon Ford’s remark, "Otherwise, should I have your dad come to pick you up?"
After Landon Ford took her inside, in the night, Fatty Dudley shivered with a chill all over, mumbling to Timothy Vaughn, "You saved my life."
Timothy Vaughn: "..."
He shouldn’t have intervened just now.
Could have just watched Fatty Dudley get smacked to death.
