Villainess X Villain: They are obsessed with each other!-Chapter 111 -: 110 Lone king’s inheritance.[1]
As the crowd around Uriel started to thin out a little, Julius and Rosalina stood at the edge, watching quietly.
Julius suddenly stepped forward with a small grin.
"Let’s go shake his hand," he said cheerfully from beside Rosalina.
Rosalina blinked. "Right now? In front of everyone?"
Julius nodded like it was the most normal thing in the world.
His plan was simple.
He had stored the divination board inside the space ring his mother had given him.
All he had to do was walk up like a fan, shake his avatar’s hand, and secretly pass the board to Uriel. Easy.
"But don’t you think there are still too many people around?" Rosalina asked.
She looked around with her brows knitted together, clearly worried someone might notice something strange.
Julius just waved his hand lazily. "Don’t worry. They won’t realize anything."
"Hmm..." Rosalina hummed, not fully convinced.
She glanced back at the scene.
Uriel was still smiling brightly and talking to the last few students.
Cecilia stood right beside him like a loyal guard, gently wiping his face with a soft handkerchief every few minutes as if he might melt from the sun.
Rosalina pulled her eyes away and looked toward the center of the academy grounds.
’When exactly will that inheritance appear?’ She thought while walking.
From what Julius had told her, this Lone King’s inheritance seemed really important to him.
He had already decided to walk the time path, so it must be something special.
After all, he could have picked any powerful inheritance from his own clan if he wanted.
As for her? Rosalina had zero interest in the time path.
She was quietly thinking about choosing the light path instead.
As she was thinking.... Just then, Julius gave her a light nudge with his elbow.
"Come on, let’s go before the crowd comes back."
Rosalina sighed but followed him anyway, still a little nervous.
In her head, she couldn’t stop imagining how funny it would look if someone found out that Julius was secretly giving secret items to his own "son" in public like this.
Julius and Rosalina squeezed through the crowd, gently pushing past the excited students.
Julius let out a small sigh in his mind.
’It must be nice being the protagonist,’ he thought.
When Crypian went to meet the saint, everyone moved aside like magic to give him and his group of girls plenty of space.
But when it came to Julius, no one even noticed him.
He had to push his way through like a normal person.
"Damn it," Julius muttered under his breath.
While moving forward, he suddenly got stuck in the middle of the crowd.
Students were packed tightly all around him.
Some bigger ones took up space like they were three people in one.
His face twisted in annoyance. ’Fuck it all, I’m the villain!’ he cursed silently.
In a quick move, he kicked the back of the student right in front of him.
The moment he did, the student tumbled forward, knocking over several others like dominoes.
"What the...?" the chubby student yelped as he looked around in confusion.
But Julius and Rosalina had already slipped past and moved ahead smoothly.
"Finally," Julius whispered with relief once they reached Uriel.
He quickly slipped his hand into his pocket and pulled out the blue gem ring.
"Saint..." Julius called softly.
Uriel, who had been waiting for this exact moment, turned toward him with a warm, kind smile already on his face.
He reached out his hand for a handshake.
Rosalina stayed a step behind, watching everything quietly.
She looked at Uriel’s gentle face, then at Cecilia standing right beside him, wiping his cheek again with that handkerchief.
Rosalina’s mind started spinning. ’He wouldn’t recognize me... right?’ she thought, feeling a little confused.
’Should I feel jealous or happy? If he has a soul connection with Julius, then technically he’s like my son... but that doesn’t make any sense at all.’
She narrowed her eyes and stared at Cecilia, still trying to decide how she felt about the whole situation.
"It’s an honor to meet you, Saint," Julius said with a polite smile as he shook Uriel’s hand.
"It’s an honor for me too," Uriel replied, his face showing just the right amount of polite confusion.
He made it look like he didn’t know Julius at all and was simply being kind to a stranger.
Julius played along perfectly.
As they shook hands, he smoothly slipped the ring into Uriel’s palm.
"My mom was there at the Saint trial. Do you remember? Energetic, bright and clingy? The Goddess of Death?"
"Ohh?" Uriel’s mouth opened in a surprised little ’O’ shape.
He turned to Cecilia. "Cecilia, do you remember Lady Elizabeth?"
Cecilia, who was standing right next to him, nodded with a soft chuckle.
"Who wouldn’t remember the Goddess of Death? Thanks to Lady Elizabeth, everything went so smoothly. The Holy Empire will always be grateful to her."
"Right?" Uriel nodded too, still smiling.
"Please convey my thanks to Lady Elizabeth."
With that, he gently pulled his hand back and quickly slipped the ring into his own pocket without anyone noticing.
"Thank you for such kind words," Julius said with a laugh.
He turned around, his chest puffed out with clear pride for his mom.
Right after he walked away, the next student stepped up eagerly and started talking to the Saint as if nothing had happened.
"Did you give him the ring?"
Rosalina asked as soon as Julius walked back to her.
"Yeah," he nodded, standing beside her again.
They both started pushing through the students to make their way out.
After a bit more shoving and squeezing, they finally managed to escape the crowded mess.
Rosalina let out a long sigh as she stepped into open space.
"You’re right... We really do get less respect even though we’re so good," she said, looking a little offended.
She brushed some dust off her clothes.
"Right?" Julius agreed with a small laugh.
"We’re supposed to be important heirs, but no one even looks at us."
Even though Rosalina had cut all ties with the Valentina clan, almost no one knew about it yet.
Still, it felt like they had become invisible. No one paid them any attention.
It was honestly a bit sad.
At least before Crypian showed up, people used to notice Rosalina a little.
Now she felt like a ghost standing right in the middle of everything.
"It’s gotta be nice bei...." Rosalina started to say.....but just then.
BOOOOM!!! 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
A loud explosion suddenly burst out from the center of the academy grounds.
The ground shook for a second, and a bright flash of light shot up into the sky.
"What the...?" Julius and Rosalina said at the same time, their eyes wide.
