Chapter 110: Chapter: 109 A cheat skill.

Rosalina and Julius stepped out of the student council office together.

The afternoon sun felt warm on their faces as they walked side by side toward the busy academy grounds.

Julius still had a faint bruise on his cheek from the earlier beating, but he acted like nothing happened.

In the middle of the open grounds, Uriel stood surrounded by a large group of excited students.

He smiled brightly and greeted everyone with a friendly wave.

The students looked thrilled, laughing and eagerly shaking his hand one after another.

Some girls were blushing and whispering to each other while staring at his perfect face.

Rosalina glanced at the scene and felt a tiny spark of jealousy again, but she quickly pushed it down. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

She turned to Julius, who was walking casually with his hands clasped behind his neck.

"You told me you will participate in that Lone King’s inheritance thing, right?"

Rosalina asked, her voice full of curiosity.

Julius nodded lazily. "Yeah."

"Then where will it appear? And when? And how?"

She asked all the questions at once.

She looked a little impatient and tilted her head while waiting for answers.

"Hmm?" Julius hummed thoughtfully for a second.

He scratched the back of his head and answered, "I can’t say exactly when... I don’t remember the exact time from my last life. But it should happen sometime this month."

"Maybe even today. Nickel said that after the protagonist Crypian Thorne settles into the academy and gathers at least six girls, the first big arc would begin."

"So... it’s probably about time for the Lone King’s inheritance to show up." He finished speaking with a small tired breath.

Rosalina raised an eyebrow. "As for how and where...?"

Julius paused. He looked straight toward the center of the academy grounds.

Rosalina followed his gaze. Julius raised one finger and pointed.

"There," he said simply.

Rosalina frowned and stared at the spot.

"There? In the academy? But who would hide their inheritance right here? This academy has been standing for the last 700 years!"

"Yeah..." Julius nodded slowly.

"From what Nickel told me, this inheritance belongs to a great expert from a thousand years ago."

"It was with Crypian the whole time in the original story."

"He didn’t know much about what was inside because the author kept it secret for later Chapters. But it seemed like Crypian got something really powerful from it."

Julius thought quietly for a moment.

He was very curious because even in the book, the author didn’t show what was really inside.

It felt like important backstory that got saved for the future... or maybe the author just forgot about it.

Either way, Julius was determined to find out what was hidden there.

They kept walking until they reached the edge of the crowd.

Rosalina lifted her gaze and looked directly at Uriel again.

The moment her eyes landed on his handsome face, a strange new thought popped into her head.

She stared at him silently for a few seconds.

’If he is made from Julius... and he has some of his characteristics... and he is so beautiful, like the child that would be born from us... then does that make Julius his father?’

Her mind kept spinning.

Uriel had a fragment of Julius’s soul, and they were connected.

Of course, only Julius could feel Uriel’s pain and see everything about him, Uriel couldn’t do the same.

Still, the connection was there.

’If Julius is his father... does that make me his mom?’

Rosalina’s eyes widened a little. She imagined it carefully.

It kind of made sense. Rosel was adopted, but she still called Julius "Papa" and Rosalina "Mommy."

But Uriel had a direct soul connection with Julius, so it felt almost biological.

A silly realization hit her.

’I have two children even before my marriage...?’

She almost laughed out loud at the ridiculous thought but quickly covered her mouth with her hand to hide her smile.

As Rosalina stood there, still lost in her silly thoughts about being Uriel’s "mom" before marriage, Uriel’s gentle voice suddenly rang out.

"Ohh, so you are Sir Crypian?" Uriel said with a warm, friendly smile.

He stepped forward and shook Crypian’s hand firmly.

"Such a gentle soul you are. No wonder Lady Cecilia talked so highly about you."

Crypian smiled back politely.

But his eyes quickly moved to Cecilia, who was standing right beside Uriel.

Every few seconds, she gently wiped Uriel’s face with a soft handkerchief, looking completely focused on him.

"My father asked me to meet you, Lady Cecilia..." Crypian started to say.

Before he could finish even one sentence, Cecilia cut him off in a calm but firm voice.

"My apologies, Sir Crypian, but that proposal was not made with my consent. So I hope you can forget about it."

As soon as she finished speaking, she turned back to Uriel and wiped his face again with the handkerchief, as if Crypian wasn’t even there.

Uriel noticed the awkward tension in the air.

He quickly jumped in with a bright smile to smooth things over.

"Sir Crypian, I heard you defeated someone at the Arcane Core stage while you were only at the Mana Core stage?"

"Honestly, it’s impressive how someone as noble as you could exist in this world."

Crypian, who had been staring at Cecilia again, slowly pulled his gaze away.

He gave Uriel a small smile. "You flatter me."

From the side, Rosalina watched the whole thing with narrowed eyes.

She let out a loud, cold snort. "Hmph! What kind of man is he?"

"Right?" Julius agreed immediately, nodding his head.

He was standing beside her with his arms still casually behind his neck.

"He’s already got six poke... I mean, girls... and he’s still eyeing Cecilia like that. It’s a good thing I made Uriel so handsome."

"I agree," Rosalina said, nodding along.

She crossed her arms and gave another cold snort.

"This skill is truly overpowered. Charming others just by existing. If you didn’t make him like that, Uriel wouldn’t have any chance at all."

Julius chuckled quietly.

Fortunately, the skill "Hero’s Charm" had a big flaw that would show up later.

Girls who already had enmity toward Crypian or were attracted to someone else, like Cecilia right now, wouldn’t be affected by it.

That was the only reason Uriel still had a fighting chance.
