Inside the car,the man handed True who wouldn’t stop crying to Lily.Lily took the baby from him,she stared at her with disgust

The man turned to look at her and asked,

"The child is still alive.What do we do?

Hearing the question,Lily looked uneasy.After a while of pensive thoughts,she replied,

"I’ll take care of the child first.Are you certain that Nina is really dead?"

"Maybe she’s still alive,but she’s badly injured.She will pass out before the ambulance arrives.

Lily was relieved to hear that.She had undergone such a huge risk just to eradicate her.As long as Nina was pronounced dead,Lily could take advantage of Tom’s sadness to win him back.

Now that Nina’s daughter had survived,it was undoubtedly a huge trouble.

"Stop crying!Why’s she so noisy!"Lily was angered at the sight of the child.She had planned to strangle her to death,but after a careful consideration,she decided to leave it to Sylvia.

Later that morning,Lily and Sylvia agreed to meet at a secreted place.When Sylvia showed up,she instantly recognized the child in Lily’s arms to be Nina’s and Harley’s.

"How did she survive?"Sylvia asked in disbelief.

Lily shook her head blankly and pretended to be chagrined,she said to her,

"I really can’t hurt a child.It’s up to you to decide whether she’ll live or not."

She had only collaborated with Sylvia,if the matter was exposed,everyone involved would not escape.

Lily did prepare herself for any outcome.All the crimes were done by Sylvia,she was only a conspirator,hence her sentence was bound to be shorter.

Lily noticed that Sylvia’s face had formed into a frown,she asked,

"Sylvia,What do you intend on doing with this child."

Sylvia swallowed hard and replied coldly,

"You really don’t have to worry about it.After all,Nina is dead,our cooperation ended happily!"

Sylvia brought out the money she had promised Lily,she handed over the money to her,while Sylvia took True.They both left the venue hastily.

After the car accident,a passer-by found Nina lying unconscious in the car,he immediately called the ambulance.

Nina was sent to the hospital in the city,and a first aid treatment was administered to her.

On arriving the hotel,Tom found out that Nina had checked out with True.He thought that she had left without him.So she called her number multiple times.

After several attempts,the call was finally answered,but a stranger male voice came in from the other end of the phone,

"Hello?Are you a relative or friend of Miss Paul?"

Tom was taken aback by the question.He knew instantly that something was wrong.

"Yes,I’m her friend.Who are you?"Tom asked warily.

"I’m a traffic police.Miss Paul got involved in a car accident and has been rushed to the hospital."Tom was stunned by the man’s reply.

In a snap of the finger,he had arrived the hospital from the hotel.

At the time he arrived,Nina had already been sent to the ICU.Tom breathed a sigh of relief,when he heard that she was saved.

As soon as his tense nerves had been relaxed,a thought crossed his mind.

"Nurse,where is the daughter of the lady?Is she badly injured?"Tom asked the nurse.He really couldn’t understand why Nina took her daughter out of the hotel secretly and why there was an accident on the road.

The whole scenerio was so illogical to Tom.But Tom knew that Nina wasn’t the type to unilaterally break a promise.

The nurse stared at Tom in confusion and replied,

"When the patient arrived the hospital,she was the only one.Reports has it that the driver had died on the spot,and as for the other casualties,there was no one else."

"You mean to say,that Nina’s daughter wasn’t in the car with her?"Tom was baffled at what he heard.

"Yes,there were only two people in the car,the driver and Miss Nina."The nurse replied affirmatively.

Tom was confounded.Did Nina really wanted to killing herself,thus the reason she didn’t take Nina along?

Coupled with the fact that the accident took place along the suburb,Tom didn’t know how to find out the truth.

"Nina,what’s really going on?"He muttered staring at the closed door of the ICU,which she was in.

Less than two hours after the emergency treatment,he learned that her condition was not optimistic and that she might give up the ghost at any time.

Straightaway,he contacted other hospitals and there were ready to transfer her to another hospital for further treatment.Tom funded the expenses with his money,in order to save her life.

Due to the unremitting efforts of all the doctors,on the second morning,Nina was finally out of harm’s way.She was to observed for a few more days.

Tom let out a sigh of relief.He held the doctor’s hand excitedly and said,

"Thank you,doctor.You saved her!"Tom bowed as he thanked him,as tears welled up in his eyes.

The doctor smiled faintly and helped him up,he muttered to him,

"We only played a part in the treatment.The main reason she’s alive is because the patient has a strong desire to live."

"Really,doctor?Thank you very much,thank you!"Tom expressed immense gratitude for their efforts.He could only hope for her recovery.

The recovery from any illness depended on the patients willpower,and sometimes it could play even a decisive role.Through the doctor’s reminder,Tom realized that Nina still wanted to live for her daughter,and so she was trying her best to survive in the coma.

Tom was happy to hear that,but a thought crossed his mind.

Since Nina has just been involved in an accident,why not take advantage of the opportunity to fake her death?

In this way,she could get rid of Harley,and after Nina woke up,she wouldn’t have to suffer from him or his family anymore.

With this thought sounding perfect to Tom he went to the bank and withdrew another sum of money from his account.

He went to the hospital where Nina was first treated and planned to buy over the hospital,just so he could issue a fake death certificate for Nina.

The next morning.Harley didn’t contact Nina the past days.He had taken his time to write his new book.

Now that Harley’s book was completed.It had taken him just three to four days to finish it.He begun a new script.

Proud of his achievements,he decided to visit Nina and True to share his new accomplishment with them.

After he arrived at the hotel,he headed straight to their room.He knocked lightly on the door.But the door was opened by a new couple.

Harley apologized to the occupants of the room,he headed to the receptionist and inquired about Nina and True,but was informed that they had already checked out.
