The door was slammed shut.Nina couldn’t help but burst into tears,while holding her daughter in her arms.
"I’m sorry I didn’t keep you company since you were born."She looked at her adorable daughter,she felt guilty and distressed.
Nina was convinced that she would have a beautiful life without Harley around her.Harley also wouldn’t have to put himself in a dilemma between her and Carlee anymore.If he marries Sylvia in the future,he stood a chance of becoming more famous.
Although Nina had just turned Harley down,she still hoped that be could live a happy life.

Composing herself,Nina hurriedly wiped off the tears on her face,and went to get the door with True,who had already woken up.
She thought it was Harley who had come back,but when she opened the door,she saw Tom standing in the hallway.
Nina was stunned,she stared at Tom who looked worn out.She asked in surprise,
"Tom,why are you here?"
Seeing the surprised look on her face,Tom smiled and replied,
"I went to the cemetery and then followed you down here."
Tom was very honest to her.He had eavesdropped on the conversation between Nina and Harley from outside the door,he clearly heard Nina rejecting Harley.He felt so happy and couldn’t wait to knock the moment Harley left.
Nina didn’t scold him for showing up uninvited.She just replied,
"Would you like to come in and have a sit?"
Tom was ecstatic when he heard Nina’s invitation and didn’t hesitate to move in.
The both sat on opposite ends of the bed.
"How’s True doing?"Harley inquired,Nina looked at True in her arm and then to Tom,she replied,
"She doing just well."
She noticed the unusual excitement on Tom’s face.Although it wasn’t so obvious,but his energetic eyes betrayed him.
"Why didn’t you go to work today?"Nina asked calmly.Tom blinked severally,he took out his phone from his pocket,he found the credit alert and he said to Nina,
"Nina,I have great news to tell you.In fact i called you last night,but you didn’t answer.Do you know I won first prize in the lottery?"
"I didn’t expect to get so lucky,Nina there’s about ten million in my account now!"Tom beamed as he handed his phone to Nina.
Glancing at the phone,Nina realized that Tom wasn’t bluffing,he indeed had become a millionaire.
"Oh my,congratulations,Tom.You can invest this in some buisness"Nina replied happily as a faint smile appeared on her haggard face.
"Nina,I know you want to leave this city.Let’s go to a place where spring flowers bloom.His thoughts coincided with Nina’s.The reason Nina chose London was partly because of this.
However,Nina had never considered getting back with him.She had already let go of her obsession with him,and had accepted their past.
She only regarded Tom as a friend,and as friends,they were to maintain proper boundaries.
Nina politely refused his kind gesture and calmly added,
"Tom,we have agreed to be friends.You have your life,and I have my responsibilities as well.Please let me just leave with True."
Tom didn’t expect Nina to refuse so decisiveness.He felt disappointed,but he wasn’t deterred.
"Friends help each other through weal and thin.Now that I have the money,I want to give you a happy life,is that wrong to do?"Tom had swore to himself that he would take Nina away,no matter what.
Tom made it clear to her that after he accompanied her to settle down in a new city,and when her life had become stable again,he would let her be.
Realizing that she couldn’t dissuade him.Nina reluctantly agreed.Tom felt so excited the moment Nina consented.He hid his emotions in his heart,because Nina was still immersed in the sadness of losing her parents.
They went on to discuss the departure date and made a simple plan for the arrangement.
Unknown to them,someone was eavesdropping on their conversation from outside and was also recording it.When Tom was about to leave,the figure left quietly.
The recordings were sent to Sylvia.She then became aware that Tom had resigned and didn’t go home to his apartment.
Sylvia was glad that she had a tool which would finally compel Nina into cooperating with her.
She was convinced that Lily would be more useful to her,since they had a mutual enemy,Nina.
She forwarded the recordings to Lily.After a while,Lily called her.Lily’s attitude on the phone was calm and noetic.She muttered after a while of silence,
"Miss Cel,I’m interested in cooperating with you,where will I see you?"
The recordings was indeed effective.Sylvia was really proud of herself.She agreed readily,
"That’s really not a problem.When can meet anytime you want."
"I’m just disappointed in Tom."Lily sighed,with resentment towards Tom.Even if Tom had no feelings for her,that wasn’t really the issue.The problem was that Tom had promised to take care of her,and now he secretly wanted to elope with Nina.
Lily wasn’t even aware that Tom had won had the lottery,not until she listened to the recordings.She felt that Tom didn’t trust her one bit.She has no choice than to do what she had to.
An hour later.Sylvia and Lily met up in secluded coffee building.In the private room,Lily was heartbroken and vented,
"To be honest with you,Tom has broke my heart badly.I’ve done so much for Tom,but now that he has money.He wants to dump me secretly!"Lily frowned and wiped the tears which was about to fall from eyes.
"Men are indeed fickle and heartless.Don’t let him go!"Sylvia said to Lily,while caressing her hand.
