Chapter 164: Chapter 164: Bloody Hand Lie Yang

The man in the car opposite Lin Kuang’s raised his eyebrows, clearly surprised that Lin Kuang’s marksmanship was so precise. His kill shot had been neutralized with ease!

"No wonder the Shadow Twins failed to kill you. It seems you have some skill after all," Bloody Hand Lie Yang said indifferently, his voice carrying clearly to Lin Kuang’s ears.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang sneered. "So you’re with Dark Blood too. You people are as persistent as ghosts, tsk tsk. It seems I’ll have to teach you a painful lesson." His voice, though not loud, also reached Bloody Hand Lie Yang’s ears.

Bloody Hand Lie Yang was the third-ranked assassin in the country. He was an extremely formidable and unfathomable opponent. With a perfect success record, he had never failed an assassination, which was how he had reached such heights.

To eliminate Lin Kuang, Dark Blood’s East Sea division had expended considerable effort to bring Bloody Hand Lie Yang to the city for this very purpose. However, he had not expected Lin Kuang’s marksmanship to be so incredible. This development had far exceeded his expectations.

"Now that you’ve been targeted by Dark Blood, your death is guaranteed," Bloody Hand Lie Yang spoke again.

He then fired shot after shot. The bullets, as if they had eyes, flew furiously toward Lin Kuang. Seeing this, Lin Kuang’s gaze turned icy cold as his Desert Eagle barked in response, shot after shot blasting Bloody Hand Lie Yang’s incoming bullets out of the air. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

After eight or nine shots were exchanged, both men were out of ammo. A Desert Eagle can only hold so many rounds, after all.

Once his gun was empty, Bloody Hand Lie Yang slowed his vehicle and slammed it fiercely into Lin Kuang’s car. Seeing this, Lin Kuang slammed on the brakes and wrenched the steering wheel, causing the rear of his car to swing around and collide violently with Bloody Hand Lie Yang’s vehicle.

BANG!

A violent crash erupted as the two cars shuddered, nearly rolling over.

Inside Lin Kuang’s car, Lin Guo’er was dazed. Her pretty face turned pale; she had never experienced anything like this before.

"Guo’er, fasten your seatbelt! Hurry!" Lin Kuang suddenly roared.

Hearing his shout, Lin Guo’er snapped out of her panic. Her hands fumbled clumsily with the seatbelt until she barely managed to fasten it. Just then, Bloody Hand Lie Yang rammed his car into theirs once again.

In response, Lin Kuang’s car suddenly accelerated, its rear end slamming hard into the front of Bloody Hand Lie Yang’s vehicle.

BOOM!

Another deafening roar echoed. Lin Kuang’s Mercedes shook violently and swerved erratically on the road, barely avoiding a rollover. Bloody Hand Lie Yang wasn’t faring well either. His car’s front was severely damaged, and its two right tires had lifted off the ground, nearly causing it to flip.

Glancing at Bloody Hand Lie Yang in the rearview mirror, Lin Kuang floored the accelerator, racing toward the main road ahead. Seeing this, Bloody Hand Lie Yang followed without hesitation, charging fiercely after him.

Though both cars were unbelievably damaged, their speed was still incredible. They raced down the highway, blowing through traffic lights as if they didn’t exist, driving like madmen. Other drivers could only curse at them as they sped by.

One car chasing the other, they sped down the highway toward an increasingly desolate area. Lin Kuang didn’t seem to care. He pushed the car faster and faster, eventually veering off the road and heading directly into a deserted, uninhabited expanse. Bloody Hand Lie Yang followed in his battered vehicle, sticking tight to Lin Kuang’s tail.

After driving for nearly five more minutes, both cars finally ground to a halt.

"Guo’er, stay here. It’s okay, don’t be afraid. I’ll be right back," Lin Kuang said comfortingly, looking at Lin Guo’er’s pale face.

"O-Okay... Y-you be careful," Lin Guo’er replied, her voice trembling.

Lin Kuang nodded, opened the car door, and stepped out. As Lin Kuang got out, Bloody Hand Lie Yang also emerged from his vehicle.

The two men locked eyes, killing intent flaring in their pupils.

"And which one are you?" Lin Kuang asked coolly.

"Me? I’m Bloody Hand Lie Yang." As he spoke, he raised his hands and wiggled his fingers in front of Lin Kuang. They were a shocking shade of red, as if permanently stained by blood, making for a frightening sight. It was precisely because of these hands that Lie Yang earned the name ’Bloody Hand.’ Legend had it that they held immense power, and every person he assassinated had died by them.

Hearing this, the cold glint in Lin Kuang’s eyes intensified. "Oh, so it’s Bloody Hand Lie Yang, the third-ranked assassin on the Killer List. Tsk tsk. Dark Blood certainly holds me in high regard to send someone of your caliber."

Lin Kuang spoke with a half-smile, but his gaze was like a thousand-year-old glacier, his icy pupils devoid of any emotion.

"That’s right, it is I. It seems you know quite a bit about Dark Blood," Bloody Hand Lie Yang said with a smile. "You even took down the Shadow Twins. Most people wouldn’t stand a chance against you."

"They were weak. Do you really think you’re a match for me?" Lin Kuang asked with the same mocking smile, looking at Lie Yang.

"I did before," Bloody Hand Lie Yang said, still smiling. "But after seeing your marksmanship, I realize you’re a formidable opponent. Of course, if your combat skills are as impressive as your shooting, this might actually take me some time."

"Is that so? It sounds like no matter what, you’re confident you can kill me?" Lin Kuang asked again.

Hearing this, Lie Yang nodded. "Yes, that’s right. Your death is inevitable. Wouldn’t you agree?"

"What do I think? I think it’s more likely you’ll be the one dying by my hand," Lin Kuang said with a shrug and a smile.

"Alright then, let’s find out."

With that, Lie Yang’s body vanished, transforming into an afterimage as he rushed toward Lin Kuang. He threw a punch, his crimson fist glowing with a bloody light. It was a terrifying sight, as if his fist had exploded into a cloud of blood mist.

A solemn look appeared in Lin Kuang’s eyes. As expected of Bloody Hand Lie Yang. His speed and strength are incredible.

In the next moment, Lin Kuang also shot forward, swinging his own fist to smash against Lie Yang’s.

In an instant, they closed the distance, their fists colliding heavily.

BANG!

A muffled impact echoed as both Lin Kuang and Lie Yang staggered backward, their gazes sharpening.
