Unrivaled Soldier in the City-Chapter 130: Come Over a Bit
Watching Yang Ruotong’s enchanting appearance, Lin Kuang’s heart skipped a beat. The memory of what he had seen in the bathroom that day flashed through his mind, and his hand instinctively squeezed the soft fullness of her chest.
In that instant, a great shudder ran through Yang Ruotong’s delicate body. Her charming face flushed crimson, and her beautiful eyes glared fiercely at Lin Kuang. But beneath the shyness, there seemed to be no blame in her gaze.
Lin Kuang snapped back to his senses, his expression filled with awkwardness. "Um, uh, Ruotong, you take little Xinxin for now. I’ll go upstairs to treat Ruoxi," he stammered, turning and hurrying upstairs before he could embarrass himself further.
He glanced down at his right hand. Am I that desperate for a woman? Why else can’t I control my own hand? He brought his palm to his nose and sniffed, catching a faint, sweet fragrance. Realizing what he was doing, Lin Kuang felt another wave of embarrassment and quickly snatched his hand back as he walked into Yang Ruoxi’s bedroom.
Yang Ruoxi was already sitting cross-legged on the bed, waiting for him.
"Ruoxi, here I come," Lin Kuang said with a grin, sitting down behind her.
Hearing his words, Yang Ruoxi’s face flushed slightly. Why did that sound so suggestive? It’s like we’re about to do something intimate.
"Ruoxi, you need to concentrate. What are you thinking about?" Lin Kuang asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice.
"Ah! N-Nothing! Let’s just start," she said quickly, her pretty face growing redder.
"Alright, here we go then," he said, placing his palm on her back and surging the supremely yang and unyielding True Qi from his body into hers.
Half an hour later, Lin Kuang withdrew his hand, and they both got off the bed.
"So, Ruoxi, what were you thinking about just now?" he asked, a mischievous smirk on his face.
"I-I wasn’t thinking about anything!" she retorted, blushing at his teasing gaze.
"Really? You weren’t thinking about me?" Lin Kuang pressed with a grin. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
"You narcissist! Shameless! I was not thinking about you!" Yang Ruoxi huffed.
"Alright, so you really weren’t thinking about me?" Lin Kuang asked, his voice laced with mock hurt.
"N-No!" she insisted.
"Ah, how heartbreaking," Lin Kuang sighed dramatically, putting on a pitiful expression like that of a jilted wife, his face a mask of indescribable grievance.
Seeing his act, Yang Ruoxi felt a pang of guilt. "Well... it’s not like I wasn’t thinking about you at all," she mumbled.
"Haha! I knew it! How could Ruoxi not be thinking of me?" Lin Kuang crowed, a triumphant, scheming look on his face.
Realization dawned on Yang Ruoxi’s blushing face; she had been tricked by this scoundrel again!
"Jerk! I’m not talking to you anymore!" she snapped, turning on her heel and storming away.
Watching her leave, Lin Kuang chuckled to himself. She’s just like a little girl, so innocent. With that thought, he headed downstairs. He sat in the living room for a while before finally leaving around nine o’clock, driving back to Liu Shilin’s villa.
Inside the villa, Liu Shilin was sitting alone in the living room, her chin propped in her hands, completely lost in thought.
"Shilin, what’s on your mind?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile, seeing her dazed expression.
"Ah! N-nothing... You’re back?" she asked, glancing up at him as he sat down beside her.
"Yes, I’m back," he said, noticing the heavy look on her face. "You can stop worrying. The problem with Yashi has been resolved."
"W-What? R-Resolved?" Liu Shilin stammered, her large eyes staring at him in disbelief.
"Of course," Lin Kuang nodded with a smile. "You’ll see tomorrow. Yashi is fine."
"Lin Kuang, you’re amazing!" Overcome with joy, Liu Shilin threw her arms around him and planted a firm kiss on the corner of his mouth. Her excitement was palpable, completely dispelling the gloom that had surrounded her.
Lin Kuang stared at her, stunned, his tongue darting out to lick the corner of his mouth. "Shilin... did you just kiss me?"
"Ah?" Hearing his words, Liu Shilin froze.
The next moment, the reality of what she had just done hit her. Her pretty face instantly turned crimson, her eyes filling with shyness. She lowered her head to avoid his gaze, overwhelmed with embarrassment. The kiss was purely impulsive, a product of sheer, overwhelming joy.
After all, Yashi is my life’s work. I can talk a good game, saying I wouldn’t mind if it went bankrupt and that I could start over, but deep down, I care immensely! Yashi is like my child. How could I not worry watching it slowly die? These past few days have been so exhausting... And... and that was my first kiss! To give it away so carelessly, just like that... The thought is more than a little depressing.
Liu Shilin kept her head down, utterly silent, while Lin Kuang just stared, dumbfounded. After a long moment that felt like an eternity, he finally snapped back to reality.
"Shilin," he called out softly.
"Y-Yes? What is it?" she whispered, still not looking up, unsure of how to face him.
"Can I have another one?" Lin Kuang asked with a playful grin.
Liu Shilin’s head snapped up, and she glared at him with flushed cheeks. "No wonder Shiyu calls you a jerk!" she huffed. "You really know how to push your luck!" Yet, deep down, she didn’t feel the slightest bit of anger.
"Hehe, relax, I was just kidding," he said, before his tone turned serious. "Listen, this matter is settled for now, but our company will likely face more trouble in the future. You need to be careful and stay strong. But no matter what happens, as long as I’m here, I will never let Yashi fall!"
Hearing his promise, Liu Shilin’s body trembled, her eyes filling with profound gratitude. "Lin Kuang, thank you," she said with heartfelt sincerity.
"Don’t worry about it. It’s what I should do," he replied with a smile.
"Come a little closer," she said suddenly.
Lin Kuang paused for a second, surprised, but leaned in as she asked.
Blushing, Liu Shilin pursed her red lips and gently pressed a soft kiss onto the corner of his mouth.
