Unrivaled Soldier in the City-Chapter 104 Ignore the Rules
"Who’s that with such a foul mouth? It’s so foul I had to stop and take a look," Han Qiaoqiao said coldly, standing at the entrance of the private room. "Oh, if it isn’t Miss Lin Guo’er. No wonder that voice was so unpleasant."
She spoke as if she had just recognized Lin Guo’er, her tone rising sharply, laced with surprise and mockery.
Lin Guo’er had been in an excellent mood, but the sudden appearance of Han Qiaoqiao and her sneering voice made her expression darken.
"Han Qiaoqiao, you bitch, I run into you everywhere! Tsk tsk, which man did you bring with you this time? Oh my, four of them at once? Can you even handle that?" Lin Guo’er retorted sharply. When it came to arguments, she had never been afraid of anyone.
Hearing this, Han Qiaoqiao’s face turned ugly. A layer of frost seemed to cover her beautiful features, and her expression became somewhat menacing.
"Lin Guo’er, shut your mouth! You vile woman!" Han Qiaoqiao seethed through clenched teeth, her eyes filled with rage.
"Why the hell should I shut my mouth for you? If you have nothing better to do, then stop being an eyesore. Or did the slap I gave you last time not wake you up? Do you want another taste?" Lin Guo’er countered with a sneer, her tone dripping with disdain.
At her words, Han Qiaoqiao’s delicate body trembled, and a hint of venom flashed in her beautiful eyes. "Hmph, Lin Guo’er, I forgot to tell you. I’m in charge of the Xiangya Club now. So please, all of you, leave. You are not welcome here," she said with immense pride.
"Huh? The Xiangya Club is under your control?" Lin Guo’er said, frowning.
As a member of the Lin Family, she was well aware of who owned the Xiangya Club. It was East Sea’s new elite, the city’s Secretary, Chu Zhongtian. He was a major figure who had come down from Yanjing to make his mark, an existence in East Sea that was nearly untouchable. Even Lin Guo’er wouldn’t dare act presumptuously before a man like that.
"You... you mean you’re with *him* now?" Lin Guo’er couldn’t help but ask, her face turning ghastly.
Seeing Lin Guo’er’s ugly expression, a smile finally bloomed on Han Qiaoqiao’s face—a smile of pure arrogance. "That’s right. I’m his woman, Lin Guo’er. So you can get out now," she said with a laugh. Her haughty posture was like that of a peacock, and in her eyes, Lin Guo’er had been reduced to a common pheasant.
Hearing Han Qiaoqiao’s confirmation, Lin Guo’er’s expression shifted continuously. She knew very well that Chu Zhongtian was someone she could not afford to provoke. Not even the entire Lin Family would dare to. Now that Han Qiaoqiao had attached herself to Chu Zhongtian, her status had undoubtedly skyrocketed. With his backing, she could definitely be considered a major figure in East Sea.
Faced with the current situation, however, Lin Guo’er felt powerless. Her best choice was to swallow her pride. If she didn’t, it wouldn’t just be her who suffered; the entire Lin Family could be dragged down with her, which was the last thing she wanted to see. But the thought of simply taking it lying down, especially while looking at Han Qiaoqiao’s smug face, made her want to slap it. Yet, she knew she couldn’t.
Just as Lin Guo’er was caught in her dilemma, Lin Kuang suddenly stood up and gently patted her shoulder. "Sit down, Guo’er. We are customers, and the customer is God. Even if she owns the place, what is there to fear?" he said with a smile, clearly not taking Han Qiaoqiao seriously at all.
Lin Guo’er gave a bitter smile. She wasn’t sure if Lin Kuang was genuinely clueless or just pretending. What good was being a customer here, especially in a private club?
"Haha, customer? God? You’re so naive!" Han Qiaoqiao spoke again, her gaze filled with fury. "I’m telling you, others might be able to leave today, but you, Lin Kuang, are not going anywhere!"
"Uh, who said I was leaving? I didn’t plan on it," Lin Kuang said, sounding somewhat helpless.
"What? You’re not leaving?" Han Qiaoqiao asked in disbelief, as if she never expected him to say that.
"Yeah, why should I? On what grounds should I have to leave?" Lin Kuang asked innocently.
"Haha, has this kid gone stupid? Are you sure you’re not leaving?" Han Qiaoqiao laughed, infuriated.
"That’s right, I don’t plan on going anywhere. So, what now? Are you going to throw me out?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile.
"Hmph, you guessed it! Men, get him! Throw him out and teach him a harsh lesson!" Han Qiaoqiao commanded in an icy tone.
At her command, the four men behind her stormed into the Peony Pavilion and moved on Lin Kuang, clearly intending to toss him out.
"You dare?!" Lin Guo’er shouted, her face flushing with anger.
Liu Shilin and the Witch also rose to their feet. Though they didn’t know what had changed with Han Qiaoqiao, they understood that the woman before them was now someone that even Lin Guo’er dared not provoke.
"Dare? Why wouldn’t I? Do it!" Han Qiaoqiao ordered again.
The four men in suits immediately sprang into action, as they followed Han Qiaoqiao’s orders completely. At this, Lin Kuang gestured for Lin Guo’er, Liu Shilin, and the Witch to step back.
"It’s fine. I’ll take care of them," he said with a smile, but his gaze turned icy. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
The four men had already charged, their eyes locked on Lin Kuang with a cold indifference, as if they were looking at a dead man. However, in that instant, Lin Kuang moved.
Still as a maiden, swift as a thunderbolt—these words were the perfect description of Lin Kuang.
He threw a single punch, sending the first man flying. Simultaneously, his figure flashed like lightning as he delivered a powerful whip kick to another’s abdomen, launching him away as well. As his foot landed, his palm shot out and struck a third man in the chest, blasting him through the air. He knocked the last man unconscious, who then collapsed rigidly at Han Qiaoqiao’s very feet.
Four men, effortlessly felled. Lin Kuang stood there calmly, as if nothing had happened, as if he hadn’t been the one to do it.
Seeing the man’s body slump at her feet, Han Qiaoqiao’s face changed dramatically, and a scream escaped her lips. The next moment, her haughty face turned deathly pale, her eyes filled with undisguised terror.
The commotion on the second floor quickly drew a lot of attention. Before long, people from the first and third floors appeared, staring at the perfectly composed Lin Kuang with expressions of shock and disbelief.
