Unlimited estates for rural beauty-Chapter 465 Brother Is Generous, But Sister Pays the Silver (1)
Feng Jiuniang watched at the staircase for a while, seeing that these two little buns were very cute, even their expressions were extremely vivid. They cursed without using dirty words, which made her think they must be children from a wealthy family, probably of noble birth.
"Shitou, don’t be rude." Feng Jiuniang slowly walked over, swaying her hips, glancing at the waiter nearby before lowering her head to look carefully at the two little buns.
She bent down, a gentle smile on her face, and said, "Dear ones, we have deluxe rooms and ordinary rooms here, followed by the servants’ quarters. Which type of room are you referring to?"
Qiqi and Yueyue exchanged a glance, and Qiqi, with a serious little face, asked the approaching person, "Are you the owner of this inn?"
Suppressing her laughter, with wide eyes and curved lips, Feng Jiuniang nodded, "Yes, indeed, I am Feng Jiuniang, and I run the Fengniao Inn."
"Pretty sister, my brother and I would like a deluxe room," Yueyue said with bright eyes and a smile, looking nothing like her previously aloof countenance.
Feng Jiuniang looked astonished at the little girl, her sharp little face, a pair of large eyes lively and cute as if they could speak, long lashes fluttering, red lips opening and closing revealing several white teeth, fair skin glowing with a rosy sheen, and short black hair hanging behind her head, adorned with a top-grade sapphire hair ornament that looked like some animal, surrounded by small diamonds. Even without sunlight, it gleamed breathtakingly. Truly an enchanting child, with such striking features at such a young age—if she grew up, probably all the men in Xueyan Country would go crazy for her.
"Alright, sister will arrange a deluxe room for the little sister and little brother." Although Feng Jiuniang was internally surprised, she composed herself and proceeded to organize accommodation for the two youngsters.
She took the key to a third-floor room and personally led the two little ones upstairs. As Yueyue passed by the dumbfounded Shitou, she covertly sprinkled something odorless and tasteless onto him, using her sleeve to hide her hand, and then hurried to follow her brother’s footsteps up the stairs.
Noticing from the corner of his eye, Qiqi whispered, "What did you just sprinkle?"
Yueyue covered her mouth and snickered a few times: "Brother, I sprinkled fart beans. I guarantee he’ll be farting up a storm tomorrow, one after another."
Qiqi internally offered three seconds of silence for the boy called Shitou; it was his own fault for provoking his sister. Turning to see his sister laughing so joyfully, he knew she wouldn’t do exactly as she had claimed. Sure enough, she blurted out an additional comment, "I guess his ’chrysanthemum’ is going to be quite fiery, huh!"
"What do you mean?" Qiqi was puzzled, not understanding how this related to a ’chrysanthemum’.
Yueyue, with a mischievous grin, replied, "This is something new I’ve concocted, using top-quality chili peppers mixed in. Though I’ve already reduced the hotness of the peppers," she added, nodding seriously.
Qiqi’s mouth twitched uncontrollably, and his eyelids shook. This aspect his sister had clearly inherited from their mother; whatever they got their hands on turned queer. They said things inversely; it was never wrong to assume the opposite of what they said. He glanced at the bundle behind her, noting she hadn’t forgotten to bring her treasured possessions, even when leaving the palace.
Upon opening the room, Feng Jiuniang stepped in first, then turned to Yueyue and Qiqi, "This is your room. If you need anything, just call the waiter."
"Pretty sister, how much silver does this room cost per night?" Yueyue asked, pinching her silver coins and blinking.
