Chapter 45 - Did something happen?

An incident happened about a year ago where Yun-tae was harassed by a stranger who had been stalking him and leaving 'love' letters in his locker.

His way of describing his feelings was very creepy and anyone could tell he was an obsessive creep who had seen Yun-tae smile once and decided he would be his.

It went from leaving 'love' letters to threatening letters. Yun-tae reported it to the police but that person was very sneaky and was never caught.

Yun-tae just needed to make sure his house was locked at all times and on Dong-cha's suggestion, he changed his password every single time.

He had a roommate and explained it to them so they would cooperate in changing the password of their lock since they could also be endangered by the stalker.

Yet, that didn't seem to stop the stalker, but since they could not get close to Yun-tae while he was always in the company of his friends, they waited till he was alone.

He was coming back from the library that day when the stalker grabbed him, demanding a relationship from him and how he wanted to own him completely.

He kept showing crap like, 'You and I were made for each other,' 'you are my star, and I am your moon', and 'I will give you everything in life, so come to me'.

He looked mad and Yun-tae was scared.

It was crazy that he had the guts to do so when there were so many people around but they didn't help because it looked like a couple's argument, and Yun-tae got scared.

The other guy also happened to be an Alpha.

He was an obsessive creep and he tried to use his pheromones to overpower Yun-tae into going with him, but luckily, Dong-cha, who was on her way to the library to pick up her textbook from Yun-tae, caught him.

She grabbed him by the collar and gave him a good ol knuckle sandwich.

She broke his face really badly and had to go to the police station.

It was so chaotic, and Yun-tae had been glad she was there that day; if not, he didn't know what he would've done.

Chin-hwa wasn't there at the scene but when he heard what had happened, he felt so sad for Yun-tae since that must've been such a scary and horrifying thing.

He knew what it meant to be approached by creepy Alphas since it had happened to him when he was younger, so he sympathized with him.

But then, he only said a few words and hugged Yun-tae, hoping that would at least make him feel better.

Yun-tae was grateful for that hug and even though he hadn't cried when that happened, he ended up crying on Chin-hwa's shoulder.

"Did something happen? Is someone keeping you against your will?" Dong-cha asked but Yun-tae shook his head and said,

"No, I'm fine." He said and laughed. "But thanks for worrying."

"Then, where are you?" Dong-cha asked. "You didn't take anything with you and didn't say a word to your roommate. How would you expect me not to worry?"

"Well," he glanced at Chin-hwa, who nodded, giving him the go-ahead to reveal where he was. "I'm with Hwa right now. And Kang-woo is with us as well."

"What? You're with Little Hwa?" Dong-cha asked, her face struck with disbelief. "How come? Did something happen? And what's Kang-woo doing with you guys?"

"Nothing happened. I ended up following him to his family house yesterday and..."

"What?!" Dong-cha exclaimed loudly. Seoung-bo covered her ears and Beom adjusted his glasses. "You went to little Hwa's family house?! Did I hear you right?"

She sounded so shocked and was very loud that Yun-tae had to move the phone from his ear a bit.

"Yes, you heard it right." Yun-tae said, still keeping the phone at a reasonable distance.

"How and when did that happen?" Dong-cha asked, scuffling her hair. It was unbelievable.

The same Chin-hwa who would not say a word about his family or even talk about himself took Yun-tae to his family house? To meet his family?

"Wait, it's not what I'm thinking, right?" She asked, her eyes squinting in suspicion. "That Alpha is there as well, so did you two, you know?" Yun-tae's face flushed.

"No, it's nothing like that!" He yelled but immediately covered his mouth, glancing around to see a few scrutinizing eyes on him.

He had been a little too loud, and this was the VIP floor, so the people eating there were all dignified.

He wanted the ground to swallow him already. He had embarrassed himself.

"Dong-cha, it's nothing like that." He repeated, transparent tears flooding his cheeks. "I went with Hwa on his sibling's request. They wanted to know how he was doing in school since" he glanced at Chin-Hwa again, wondering if he was saying too much, but he found Chin-Hwa looking at him with a little amused smile on his lips.

That was a 'keep going' signal, wasn't it?

"Chin-hwa doesn't talk much at home, much like how he doesn't talk much at school, so they wanted his friend to tell them what he had been up to in his place." He said, shyly brushing the back of his neck. "It wasn't behind his back or anything and Hwa is okay with it. He said he doesn't mind and I can also," his face flushed. "Keep coming to his family house with him and do the talking in his place."

"Whoa, I'm so jealous." Dong-cha said. "That's so unlike the little Hwa I know. You two must be hitting it close for you guys to go out for dinner, right?"

Yun-tae blushed and giggled.

"Yeah, I guess we are."

Dong-cha went silent for a moment. She didn't realize it would come to this. She was glad they were bonding, she really was, but was this really okay?

"So, does little Hwa have any cute younger siblings?" She asked, her tone changing right away.

"No, he's the last child and his elder siblings are both Alphas." Yun-tae answered a bit awkwardly since it felt like Dong-cha was moving her questions to his family, and Chin-hwa didn't want them to find out everything about his family.

Especially the fact that his two dads were Baek-Hyun and Woo-bin, and his mother was a famous writer.

"Anyway, I have a favor to ask of you. Can you do something for me?" Yun-tae asked, shifting the topic right away.

"What is it?" Dong-cha asked.
