Thrusted into a world ruled by women-Chapter 237: The abyss of death

"He's inside the dimension," Yuno informed Eve.

"He is? When did he enter?"

"Five minutes ago." Yuno made sure to double-check to see if she was correct, which she was.

"Good. Keep an eye on that dimension. Jin is more than powerful enough to break out of that place, and he most likely entered to trace it back to me since he doesn't know where we are and couldn't find us over the past few months."

"Jin will escape?"

"Of course he will. You don't know how cracked that guy is. His power, his natural power, is a cheat code, and I sensed him comprehending Universal Laws. I don't know how he managed to comprehend all seven laws so quickly, but this is a threat to our plan, so we need to act fast."

"Should we send out the four stars to start prepping for their arrival?"

Eve contemplated those words. She was obligated to send word to the primordials she worked with and use their power to summon them to this part of the universe, but she wanted to wait until everything else was taken care of.

"No. Hold off on that for now. We've already taken over most of the world, so I can launch the four stars whenever I want without anyone getting in the way. I don't know how long Jin will be gone for, but it's time to take the final step."

Pressing a button, Eve sent a message to every single person who worked for her.

"Kill Jin's family, now." That was all she said. One simple command, and everyone dropped what they were doing to wipe out Jin's friends and family.

"And his original body?" Yuno asked

"Thanks to the Nexus energy, I was able to get things working faster than expected. I've finished combining the soul, and I'm in the process of placing it in his body. I just need two more days. After two days, we will burn this world."

"About time you came back, Jessa." Jerrica greeted her daughter with a hug. Though they had been reunited, she still hated being separated from her because of the past.

"Yes, but there's something important I need to tell everyone."

"Okay. Wait, where's Jin?"

"That's what I need to tell you all about. Gather everyone."

Within a minute, everyone, not including Roby, Sandra, and Addison's family, was present in the living room. Angela wasn't here, but she sent a clone in her stead.

She hated being out of the fight, so she worked on a cloning spell with Jin so she could help when needed. This clone wasn't perfect, so it only had 80 percent of her strength, but 80 percent was still very strong for her current self.

"Listen up, everyone. Jin has been taken to some realm where gods become masochists or something. But it's fine. He said he'll be out soon. He told me to tell everyone to prepare for a battle. I'm assuming he thinks Eve will attack us now that he's gone, and I believe him."

"I'll prep our defenses." Anyssa got up to do just that.

"I'll be on the lookout." Oculia left.

"Jess, Jin told me to tell you that it's time."

[Yup, I got the message as well. Everything is prepared. Once you all are ready, please head to the armory for your new power kits.]

"A new power kit? Fuck yeah!" Angela couldn't wait to get her hands on that.

"Jin is always doing things like this, haha." Brittany wasn't even surprised that he made a new power kit.

"He works hard for us. Let's make sure to pay him back by not losing." Addison stood up and headed to the armory.

"Once we're all geared up and ready. We will wait for Jin. If we are attacked before he returns, then we'll hold off whatever force is attacking us. And girls, listen. We cannot die, especially you three." Jessa pointed at Brittany, Addison, and Angela.

Brittany smirked. "Don't worry, I won't die before having a kid with Jin."

"Same."

"Tch. Stop trying to be like me!"

"I'm not."

"Whatever."

"This is...How can you survive this place?" The executor had thrown everything it had at Jin, and nothing worked. This place not only broke bodies, but it broke minds as well. But Jin's mind was too strong.

The executor fed on dark emotions, guilt, regret, and hatred. Jin had every single one of those emotions, yet instead of being overwhelmed by them, he had fully embraced them. It was as if Jin always welcomed death.

The construct used memories of family, friends, and loved ones from every single one of Jin's past lives, literally the dimension with thousands of bodies that were stacked in a pile because Jin had killed them all.

"There's a switch, you know. A switch in your mind that, when you turn it on, it makes you not care about anything." Jin approached the construct, his face covered in blood, with a grin that would tell anyone that he was a crazy man.

"You can see them, can't you? My memories. Did you think that I was strong in all of my lives? Of course, I wasn't. I've been broken before, reached my lowest point, and wanted to end it all. But do you know what I did?"

The construct started feeling something it wasn't supposed to feel: fear.

"I embraced the chaos. When you're face-to-face with the Abyss of Death, people lose their minds, cry, beg not die, beg to live longer, and pray to gods to help them. But me, I stared back at it, and I asked it one question. 'Why is it that you deserve my life, when it was never yours to begin with?"

The executor gulped and continued to back away.

"That's when I realized it. Death...is an illusion conjured by the minds of those who are scared by the unknowns of the otherside. But I don't fear anything, so there is no death for me, and because I cannot die, I am forced to live, and by being forced to live, I've become what others see when they look into the abyss, death."

Jin struck the air, and the entire dimension shattered into pieces.

"There's a reason why I'm called The Reaper after all."
