The witch thought I am a Demon God-Chapter 561 - 326 Universal Law: Holy Church (Two in One)_3
In a corner of the room, stood a great wizard cloaked in wizard garb. Recognizing him instantly, it was Ivita’s old familiar friend - the Dead Cow Wizard.
Inside the cramped, rundown house, upon a bamboo bed draped with a thin quilt and hung against the wall, sat two people - a man who seemed to be the young girl’s father, and a ten-year-old girl whose limbs were contorted, held down firmly by the man.
This girl was probably the key figure in the demon possession.
Her eyes glared at Ivita like those of a wild beast. What was originally the pure black pupils of the Mediterranean ethnicity had turned into a venomous golden hue, reminiscent of a snake’s vertical pupils, full of malice and mockery.
"I advise you to mind your own business. Kid, we do not wish to join forces with you, we fail to see you in our view."
In the next moment, an enormous force seized the mother, ripping her sleeve, leaving two claw marks on her arm. She was dragged screaming from the street straight inside the house.
"Help! Help!"
Ivita and the Hearthstone Witch were about to rush in immediately.
While the Hearthstone Witch went in effortlessly, as Ivita attempted to follow, he was met with an overwhelming, invisible force that seemed to repel him out of the cottage.
"What right do you have to enter this house? Is this matter related to you? Are the people inside your relatives? Are they your friends or loved ones, or do you even know them? Since none of this is the case, you can get lost."
Ivita felt a rush of powerful force pushing against his chest, forcing him out. His destroy magic cloak activated to protect him, but it seemingly whirred off to protect an empty space next to him.
Looking at his destroy magic cloak whirling in the air, seeming to protect an empty space, Ivita lamented the twisted magic for truly being the most dangerous form of magic.
Twisted magic, stemming from double standard nature, held an almost superior authority over other kinds of magic.
Emotions, indeed, were one of the best elements for mobilizing magic!
Using all his magic power, Ivita stood his ground, resisting being pushed out of the house. His eyes lit up with a deep blue spiritual glow, "You ask how I’m related here?!"
"I am the lord of Maple Town, whatever happens here is my responsibility to manage. These are the rights granted to me by noble laws, kingdom laws, the rules of Seven Seas Law Code! Have any objections? Take it up with them."
Then, the powerful shockwave, summoned from the demon’s twisted magic, suddenly met with resistance, and dissipated immediately.
The entrance to the house was as if nothing had ever happened.
Only that the people on the street and everyone in the house were staring at him.
Ivita glanced at the girl’s begrudging eyes on the bamboo bed, understanding that she honestly didn’t want to challenge the law directly. She knew he was a legitimate lord under the Seven Seas Law Code, which reigned the seas, hence, she couldn’t just kick him out directly.
The ten-year-old girl pinned down by the man suddenly looked straight at Ivita, revealing an extremely exaggerated smile, as if someone had cut a smile directly onto her face. Her snakelike pupils suddenly dilated, "Oh, so you turn out to be the little lord of this small town. It seems that indeed you cannot leave and this matter is related to you. It would be best for you to perish here as well."
The Hearthstone Witch warned her, "Do not speak recklessly in front of this lord."
"You are being too presumptuous."
The ten-year-old girl suddenly tore free from the man’s grasp, climbing the wall with her uncontorted limbs, her spine against the wall, while her chest and head were facing the people standing around.
"Having arrived here, I do not have to obey any of the laws in the mortal realm, I do not have to abide by any morals, I do not have to abide by any...."
As she was about to utter the final word, the climbing girl on the wall got hit on the head, as if by a blow. After a cry of pain, she fell from the wall, landing on the ground. Ivita saw a fleeting shadow of a book, reflected in her pupils.
But it happened so quickly, just in the blink of an eye. Therefore, the two ordinary people in the house, the girl’s parents, did not notice the abnormality in their daughter’s eyes.
There was no necessity for the professionals to tell them that just now, the Seven Seas Law Code had shown its presence here.
Preventing the demon from uttering her final blasphemous words.
Seizing the chance when the demon was distracted by her own fall, Ivita turned to look at the severely injured priest and Dead Cow Wizard. His gaze fell on Dead Cow Wizard, "Your doing?"
"Ah? Huh! What? Huh huh!" Dead Cow Wizard got startled by Ivita, fully aware of Ivita’s capabilities. He hastily denied his involvement, as it had nothing to do with him.
In strict terms, he was here to help this time, he could not simply take the blame.
Dead Cow Wizard said, "Not me. I was just passing by. The parents of this girl had engaged a wizard after she was possessed by a demon. That wizard was conducting an exorcism ritual, he probably didn’t expect it not to be a spiritual projection of the demon in the mortal world, but rather, the consciousness of the demon itself."
"So when the ritual was halfway through, he got killed by the demon. I happened to be passing by, saw a priest performing an exorcism, noticed that the demon descending upon this town wasnot that simple. Moreover, I felt it was unfair for a demon to bully a ten-year-old girl, thus, I decided to lend a hand."
