The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 62: You’ll Get Sick!
How could Abigail stay sane for long? Her disease was serious for a reason. She had no idea when her next phase would be. Like right now, she had assumed originally she would at least get a few days before mania started.
But... To her misfortune, by the next morning, Abigail had already transformed into an extremely excited, maniacal person. She was akin to a personified form of excitement itself. Even the nurses were frightened and trembled upon seeing her antics.
How?
Let’s start from early morning.
When the nurse entered to check up on the patient, the moment her eyes glanced at the young lady, who was jumping around in the room with the glucose and blood bag in her hand, she received a fright. The woman was even daring to sing loudly, creating lots of noise.
"Lady!" The nurse quickly went over and snatched the items and forced Abigail to sit on the bed. "What are you doing?"
"Eh?" Abigail blinked innocently and said, "I was dancing."
She spoke so confidently that she didn’t think there was anything wrong in it. A song had been stuck in her head ever since she woke up. So what was wrong with dancing around a bit? She was completely innocent, okay?
Why don’t they let her do what she wants?!
The more Abigail thought about it, the angrier she became. In the end, she glared at the nurse and pulled out the syringe attached to her wrist. She even showed a tongue to the nurse and said, "You’re all bad people!"
After saying that, she jumped back and dashed toward the door before anyone could catch her.
The nurse was so shocked that she couldn’t speak a single word. For a moment, she thought back to Abigail’s urge to speak to a psychiatrist and seriously wondered if this patient was mentally sick.
But she didn’t have enough time to think about it anymore as she had a patient to capture!
The nurse instantly ran outside, yelling, "Patient 1087 has run out! Security, colleagues, capture her!"
"Who ran out?" The head nurse asked as she hurried over to her subordinate.
"The patient inside!" The other nurse pointed to room number 1087 and said anxiously after explaining everything that had happened, "She’s extremely weak. If something happens to her, the director of the hospital isn’t going to let us off!"
Even the head nurse’s face paled.
She had heard that overnight, a rich, VIP patient had been brought here by the director himself. But that wasn’t important since their hospital was famous for treating the rich. The main thing was that the husband of that lady patient brought her from the competitor hospital where the lady had an accident.
Originally, the head nurse was confident that they would be able to take better care of the patient. But the VIP husband didn’t tell them that the patient was a mental case!
That aside, the head nurse should find that patient before she gets herself hurt. Otherwise, she knew the director won’t let them off!
No, before that, the head nurse was afraid that the VIP husband would directly kill them!
The head nurse also ran despite her old age as they finally caught up to the lady only to see her sitting on the window, an opened window at that. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"Don’t come closer!" Abigail glared at the head nurse and crossed her arms over her chest. "Otherwise, I’ll jump!"
"Okay, okay, we won’t come closer." The head nurse felt a drop of sweat trickling down her temples as she paused her steps, saying, "Let’s have a peaceful conservation, shall we? What do you want, dear girl? We will fulfill your wishes."
"Really?" Abigail’s eyes lit up after hearing those words as she jumped into the corridor, brushing off non-existent dust off her body. "Okay, let’s make a list of things I want. First off, I hate those syringes. So take them off."
The head nurse felt anxious after hearing that as she said, "But, girl, if you don’t wear the syringe, you’ll get sick!"
"I already felt sick seeing that red thing." Abigail wrinkled her nose and said, "It’s good that it’s not blood, otherwise, I would have fainted." She pouted the next second. "Who the heck puts red water in that bottle?" Her eyes narrowed the next second as she looked at the head nurse and asked, "That wasn’t really red water, was it? It was blood, right?"
"No, no, no!" The head nurse was smart enough to catch the main aspect from those words. She could tell that this lady had a phobia of blood. "That’s a special glucose, and by getting that dose today, you’ll be energetic, and you might get even more power to make your husband happy."
Abigail raised her brows upon hearing that.
Actually, she still remembered those moments she spent during her depression phase, but her mania overpowered those memories. Of course, when she woke up, she still had the emotions of the previous day, wanting to hide in her shell and find a psychiatrist first.
But then, she accidentally heard a tune to one of her favorite songs and forgot all about it during her excitement. And now that she was promised a list of things and even ability to make her husband happy, how could she still care about that puny thought about visiting a psychiatrist?
Of course, not that she really wanted to make the man happy. She wouldn’t be satisfied with just that. The more she wanted was to break off his cold and icy shell that he had on his face, see his expressions crumbling apart, and make the man feel emotions he would probably have never felt yet.
The more she thought about it, the more she felt that the head nurse standing in front of her was pleasing to her eye. She finally nodded and said, "Alright, I like you. From no one, I’ll grant you the great fortune to treat me personally! No one but you can treat me! If anyone else dares to take her place, I’ll jump off this window once again!"
No one dared to take her words lightly, including the head nurse. She wiped the layer of sweat off her forehead and nodded. "Sure, dear. I’ll be happy to treat you personally. Now, why don’t we go inside and you give me a list of things you want? We will soon have your husband bring it all inside."
