The Villain Mom Awakens — Going Viral by Parenting on a Reality Show-Chapter 392 - 394: Marriage Proposal
Nathan Lynch had initially sat next to Victor Vance, but he’d since moved to a chair beside Yvonne Lee, who was now feeding him with a spoon.
Nathan Lynch was usually a light eater, but he was eating quite a lot now that Yvonne Lee was feeding him.
"Oh, my sweet grandson! Such a big bite! Good boy! Our Mona finished it all in one go. You’re amazing!"
"Auntie, you should eat your dinner," Victor said. "Mona doesn’t need to be fed, and I don’t want you to get tired."
"I’m not tired at all!" Yvonne Lee said with a smile. "You have no idea how happy it makes me to see my sweet grandson enjoying my cooking so much! Come on, Mona, just two more bites. Let’s finish them up, okay?"
After dinner, Yvonne Lee went into the kitchen to wash the dishes, and Victor Vance followed close behind to help. A few moments later, Howard Dawson and Aidan Dawson entered, talking and laughing, and deftly took over the task.
Aidan Dawson took the bowl from Victor’s hands. "I’ll do it, Junior," he said. "You just watch."
Yvonne Lee murmured in approval, "Not bad. My son’s finally learned how to dote on his partner."
Aidan’s earlobes flushed slightly. "Junior, my mom... she tends to just say whatever’s on her mind. Don’t take it seriously."
Howard Dawson said, displeased, "Hey now, son, how can you talk about your mother that way?"
"My fault, my fault," Aidan quickly apologized. He then turned to Victor and sighed helplessly.
Victor chuckled, amused.
Howard Dawson and Aidan Dawson stayed downstairs in the living room to play with Nathan Lynch, while Yvonne Lee called Victor Vance upstairs for a chat.
"Come on, don’t be so formal, dear. Just make yourself at home. No, that’s not right—this *is* your home." Yvonne Lee lightly tapped her own lips, then smiled. "Listen to me, getting ahead of myself."
"Auntie, Senior and I are actually..."
Yvonne Lee cut him off with a smile. "Don’t be so quick to jump to conclusions. I can tell you’re not completely without feelings for Aidan, are you? That boy might be a little dense and stubborn, but he’s not without his good points."
"Senior is an excellent person, it’s just..."
"Just what?"
"I don’t have any plans to get married at the moment, and I don’t want to hold Senior back."
"How is that holding him back? You saw how eager he was, didn’t you?"
Victor paused for a moment. "My situation is... complicated," he said. "I’ve been through a failed marriage, and I have a son. I have no intention of ever being separated from him. I would never abandon him, no matter what."
Yvonne Lee nodded, understanding. She patted Victor’s hand comfortingly. "I’m a parent, too," she said. "I would never ask you to cut ties with your own child. That would be too cruel. Besides, we adore Mona. He’s so smart and well-behaved. I’ve always dreamed of having a grandson just like him."
"So... you really don’t mind my circumstances at all?"
"Mind? What is there to mind? Having such a brilliant and talented designer as a son-in-law... I’d be so proud to tell everyone! My old friends would die of envy! That silly son of mine has been chasing you for years, and he’s finally about to win you over. I feel like setting off firecrackers to celebrate! And if you’re worried about having more children, don’t be. We’re in no rush. If you two decide to be together, whether you have more kids is up to you. After all, you already have Mona."
She smiled. "You only live once. The most important thing is to be happy; everything else can take a backseat. You and Aidan are both sensible adults. I trust that you have your own way of thinking and your own preferred lifestyle."
Victor’s eyes trembled.
Yvonne Lee smiled and squeezed his hand. "Aidan has liked you for many, many years. He’s such a coward—ran off abroad all by himself because he wouldn’t face his feelings. He’s a real wimp in that regard, nothing like me at all! I’m sure after all this time you’ve spent together, you understand his feelings for you better than I do..."
A warm smile filled Yvonne Lee’s amber eyes. "If you can, I hope you’ll give him some serious consideration."
Victor lowered his gaze, his mind a tangled mess. Yvonne Lee’s voice reached his ears. "That boy Aidan never told you, did he? When I got together with his father, it was my third marriage. I took so many wrong turns in life, but I was lucky enough to end up at the right destination. Whether you choose to be with Aidan or not, I hope you find your own happiness, Sonny."

After leaving the Dawson family’s home, Victor was completely lost in thought. Aidan, holding Nathan Lynch’s hand, suggested, "It’s still early. Why don’t we go check out that plaza over there? I hear it’s always bustling with people."
Nathan Lynch was more than happy to agree. "Mona wants to go too!"
"Alright, let’s go take a look then," Victor relented.
It was nearly evening now, and the sky was bathed in the orange-red glow of sunset.
Victor was walking with his head down, lost in thought, when he suddenly heard Aidan’s excited shout. "Junior, look! The planes in the sky! Someone’s proposing!"
Victor looked up and saw over a dozen planes flying in formation. Just as he was about to look away, he realized they were spelling out a word: JUNIOR.
The planes shifted formation, and two new words appeared in the sky: MARRY ME.
Victor’s hands froze. When he tore his gaze from the sky, he saw Aidan Dawson kneeling on one knee before him. He was holding up a diamond ring, his expression utterly serious.
A crowd of onlookers had gathered around them, their faces full of envy and excitement.
Victor’s first instinct was to glance at Nathan Lynch. Seeing his son’s expression was unchanged, he relaxed slightly and turned his attention back to Aidan. "Senior... what are you doing?"
Aidan held the ring steady, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Junior, I’ve been in love with you for so many years. Please forgive me for being such a coward before. I didn’t even dare to say it out loud, and that’s why we missed all this time..."
"I know your last marriage left you with deep scars, and I also know that sweet words don’t mean anything. That’s why I’ve prepared a prenuptial agreement."
Aidan produced a contract from behind his back. "I drew this up myself. If you agree to marry me, all of my assets will be transferred to your name. If one day I have a change of heart and betray you, or if I ever mistreat Mona in any way, you can throw me out with nothing. But I know that day will never come, because you’re the only one I’ll ever love."
The people in the crowd gasped when they overheard the terms of such a rare prenup. They began to cheer loudly, "Marry him! Marry him!"
"Junior, are you willing to start over with me? Will you let me join your and Mona’s lives, and become a part of your family?"
Aidan’s voice was sincere, but only he knew how violently his own heart was pounding.
"Senior, this is so sudden... Please, give me some time."
"Does that mean you’re not against it?" 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Victor nodded slowly. He glanced at Mona. "Let me think about it properly."
Aidan let out a cheer and rushed forward to hug Victor. "Thank you, Junior! Thank you for giving me a chance!"

Back home, Victor called Nathan Lynch over and asked in a serious tone,
"Mona, do you like Uncle Dawson?"
