The Villain Mom Awakens — Going Viral by Parenting on a Reality Show-Chapter 212: A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing
Naomi Kenway reached out and gave him a high-five, smiling. "Not bad! You got your acting skills from your mom. You have my excellent genes!"
Ian Shaw smiled sweetly, but his smile turned cold when he thought of Renee Jennings. "Mrs. Jennings really went too far. This time, we have to teach her a lesson. Besides... I also sent her a gift. I guarantee she’ll love it..."
"What gift?" Naomi Kenway asked.
Ian winked slyly. "You’ll see in a bit, Mom."

Half an hour later, Naomi Kenway figured it was about time and led Ian Shaw out of Teacher Sanders’s dorm.
The moment the cameras were on them, Ian’s expression reverted to pale and frail. He just timidly hugged Naomi Kenway’s neck, not even daring to lift his head.
Naomi Kenway placed a hand on Ian’s back, sighing to herself. ’My son is really becoming more and more of a schemer beneath his innocent facade.’
They were surrounded by a crowd as soon as they reached the classroom building.
Ruby Preston was there too. She walked over and gently patted Ian’s back. "You poor child, you’ve really suffered. It’s a shame I wasn’t here. I only just heard about it."
Standing to the side, Renee Jennings’s expression grew even more complicated.
The principal quickly asked, "How is he? Is Ian feeling any better?"
Naomi Kenway sighed. "Ian was already a bit withdrawn, and now he’s even less willing to talk to people."
The principal had a pained look on his face, as did the other guests standing nearby.
Ruby Preston sighed. "Spend a lot of time with him for now. Maybe he’ll get better after a while."
The pressure from everyone’s stares on Renee Jennings grew stronger. In just one short hour, she had become the villain. She didn’t even dare to imagine what the public opinion online was like right now; she could only hope her PR team would be able to pull through.
Renee Jennings’s heart filled with resentment for Naomi Kenway and her son. ’This time, I was careless. I won’t let Naomi fool me like this again. I’m going to expose the true colors of that mother and son duo!’
With the day’s experience over, the guests had to return to their residences.
Because of the recent incident, the production team had thoughtfully arranged a car for Naomi Kenway and her son. They handled the mother and son’s feelings with extreme care, fearing Ian might have another breakdown.
Before rolling up the window, Naomi Kenway met Renee Jennings’s obviously resentful gaze. Naomi gave a slight, provocative lift of her eyebrow, then quickly closed the window so as not to affect the air conditioning.
Renee Jennings nearly ground her teeth to dust. Beside her, Chelsea Raines called out her name. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
The duo still moved as a unit. Although they’d had an unpleasant moment in the cafeteria at noon, they still tacitly stuck together. After all, it was too hard to blend into the other groups, and they needed to look out for each other.
Renee Jennings was seething with resentment when she suddenly felt a slight itch on her arm. She looked down but saw that her arm was still fair and smooth, with no sign of any insect bites.
After scratching it roughly a couple of times, Renee Jennings didn’t think much of it and, carrying her backpack, started on the road home with Mona.
But for some reason, the itchy area on her arm seemed to be spreading. Renee Jennings couldn’t resist scratching it a couple more times, but the more she scratched, the itchier it got.
"Rachel, what’s wrong?" Chelsea Raines asked with concern.
"It’s nothing," Renee Jennings said, feeling annoyed as she stared at the seemingly endless mountain path ahead.
Ten minutes later, Renee Jennings couldn’t take it anymore. Her arm still looked completely normal, yet it was maddeningly itchy, as if millions of ants were crawling on it.
For a split second, she almost suspected she’d been afflicted by something... unclean.
She was forced to stop. She took a bottle of spray from her backpack and spritzed her arm, but after a few minutes, it had no effect.
Then, Renee Jennings’s other arm started to itch. She truly couldn’t stand it anymore and shouted to the director, "My arm is so itchy! Can you have a doctor come take a look at me? It feels like ants are crawling on it..."
The director leaned in for a closer look and saw that there were no insect bite marks on Renee Jennings’s arm, just red lines from where she had scratched herself. It really didn’t look like she was faking, so he called over the doctor accompanying the crew.
The doctor hurried over with his medical bag, carrying simple equipment.
"Don’t worry, let me take a look at you."
The five-minute examination ended with the doctor frowning, stethoscope still in hand.
Renee Jennings’s heart pounded with panic. "Doctor, do I have some kind of serious illness?"
The doctor packed up his instruments. "You’re not sick at all. Are you perhaps hallucinating because you’re too tired? I can’t find anything wrong with you."
"Impossible!" Renee Jennings cried, unable to bear the torture, which felt like a punishment. "You quack! My arm is itching so bad I could die, and you’re telling me it’s nothing? Get me another doctor!"
The doctor’s face turned cold. No one likes their medical skills being questioned. He said coolly, "This is one illness I really can’t treat. You’d best find someone more capable!"
Renee Jennings couldn’t be bothered to listen to him. She only felt like her arms were about to be rendered useless. She yelled at the director, "Quick, get another doctor for me!"
A short while later, another doctor arrived. The results of his examination were the same as the first doctor’s. He said there was nothing abnormal about Renee Jennings’s body; she was very healthy.
Renee Jennings was in disbelief, her fingers scratching ceaselessly at her arms. The sensation was driving her to the brink of madness.
"This is impossible! Go get me another doctor! My arms are going to be ruined!" Her voice was tinged with tears.
The director was a bit helpless. He adjusted his glasses. "Mr. Jennings, we only have two doctors with the crew."
Renee Jennings froze for a moment, then her anger flared. "Only two? What kind of half-assed doctors did you hire?!"
The assistant director couldn’t help but chime in, "There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the doctors we hired. They’re all professionals. The one with the problem is probably..."
Renee Jennings knew she was speaking recklessly, but the physical discomfort had completely robbed her of the ability to think straight.
Watching from the side, Chelsea Raines subconsciously pulled Jared Woods far away from Renee Jennings. She was afraid Renee had contracted some strange disease and would infect them.
Ten minutes later, Renee Jennings was still slumped on the ground. Two distinct red marks lined her arms from the force of her scratching.
Chelsea Raines said goodbye to her, announcing she was leaving first. She hurried away without waiting for a reply.
The sky began to darken, and the director reminded Renee Jennings that they needed to get going.
Renee Jennings had no energy to deal with him. At that moment, she was in so much torment that she wished she could just die.
[What is Renee Jennings doing? Is she trying to play the victim? No matter how miserable she is, is she more miserable than that kid?]
[She studied acting, for crying out loud. This performance is a little too obvious. Stop playing pitiful here. The doctors already said you’re fine. Stop dragging down the production team’s schedule. Can’t you see how many people are waiting for you?]
[Why is everyone in the livestream so cold-hearted? If she wasn’t really in pain, would our Rachel be scratching her arms until they bleed?]
[Great acting.]
